-I gasped at nearly every new word in this headline: “Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, and Alison Brie to star in an Apple series about ‘what it means to be a woman’ from the creators of GLOW”.

-The Golden Globes ratings hit historic lows, losing 60% of viewers year over year. This, plus all the controversy about its voting members, makes me wonder if it will continue to be a major event going forward.

-The pandemic-related productions delays have finally caused a break in the era of peak TV.

-TikTok is being flooded with Tom Cruise deep fakes. These things are terrifying,

-The town of Húsavík got together to film a video about wanting an Oscar since the song from Eurovision is eligible for an Academy Award. The JA JA DING DONG guy even makes an appearance.
