Beyonce and Jay Z Divorce Rumours Heat Up

-The Beyonce and Jay Z split rumours are kicking into high gear, but from what I can tell there has been no news since yesterday and everyone’s just recycling the Page Six report. They were even spotted having dinner a few days ago and she shared a happy family photo yesterday. Of course, that hasn’t stopped everyone from fantasizing about who Bey should date next…

Daniel Radcliffe shot The F Word here and now he’s like a true Torontonian, ordering off Burger’s Priest’s secret menu and everything.

-I wasn’t sure I’d buy Emma Stone and Colin Firth as a couple in their new movie until I read this interview. They’re adorable, especially when she talks about how she live-texted him while watching the Bridget Jones sequel. By the time she tells him she likes him “just as you are,” I was kind of shippin’ it…

Miley Cyrus is combatting that stupid Internet death hoax by posting a topless Instagram shot in the desert.

-Marissa Cooper’s designer clothes on The O.C. were all due to Mischa Barton, says Mischa Barton.

-Want to make Rachel McAdams cringe? Just play her The Notebook audition tape in front of her.

-I’m not a fan of Lea Michele’s bikini, but at least she looks happy and healthy.

-My ideal dinner party includes Cate Blanchett though I’d also like to crash hers, which includes Amy Poehler, Hillary Clinton, Christine Lagarde and Elaine Stritch.

Blake Lively‘s Preserve continue to attract a whole lotta ridicule.

Kate Hudson got a serious case of the giggles while playing Box of Lies with Jimmy Fallon.

-Is Bradley Cooper engaged? And if so, does that mean that I finally have to learn his girlfriend’s name?

Claire Danes can’t go home again in the latest Homeland season 4 trailer.

Robert Downey Jr. topped Forbes highest paid actors list again, while Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise failed to make the top 10.

-Speaking of RDJ, he’s bringing his Oscar campaign to TIFF with the world premiere of The Judge. Other huge TIFF premieres that were announced today, including Jason Reitman’s Men, Women and Children starring Ansel Elgort and Emma Thompson, Foxcatcher starring Channing Tatum, The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch, The Drop starring Tom Hardy, Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Still Alice starring Kristen Stewart, Map to the Stars starring Robert Pattinson, and multiple movies starring Reese Witherspoon. They didn’t announce the opening night film because they’re still confirming it, which makes me think it’s Brad Pitt‘s Fury or Angelina Jolie‘s Unbroken. Either way, this fest is gonna be stacked!

Colin Farrell plays Jessica Chastain‘s servant in the new bodice ripper Miss Julie, which is also coming to TIFF. Check out the first trailer:

Kanye West Covers GQ, Says Lots of Crazy Sh*t

Kanye West GQ cover

Kanye West covers the new issue of GQ, and the accompanying interview is chock-a-block with crazy soundbites. He expresses his love for Kim through a metaphor from a Will Ferrell movie, waxes poetic about the cultural significance of Kimye, and calls himself a porcupine and blowfish. It really is…something.

-Meanwhile, Kanye’s next album might come in September.

Blake Lively’s Preserve has launched! I read  the Letter From The Editor (where she starts by saying she’s “certainly no arbiter of what you should buy, wear, or eat” before claiming the site will “inspire your home, your style, and your tongue”) and I couldn’t bring myself to go on, but maybe that’s just because I’ve already fulfilled my “be a judgy bitch” quota for the day.

-The guy who plays Lafayette on True Blood just called Luke Grime out for quitting the show because he didn’t want to share any gay love scenes with him.

Mark Ruffalo has been reunited with his lost wallet, thanks to Twitter.

-Another week, another incredible segment on John Oliver‘s show. This time, he used puppets to explain America’s broken prison system.

Ian Somerhalder was spotted getting touchy-feely with two different women, and one of them was Nikki Reed. I dunno; he just strikes me as a touchy-feely kinda guy. I remember the last press tour he did in Toronto, my entire Facebook feed was filled with photos of him draped over all of my female media friends. It was weird.

Mindy Kaling is using her Instagram feed to try out dresses for her new book cover — and it’s adorable.

Jonah Hill officiated Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo‘s weekend wedding. Is it weird none of Adam’s Voice co-judges seemed to make it?

Beyoncé just made the Fifty Shades of Grey movie slightly more interesting by releasing the first trailer teaser on her Instagram account.

-At least Bey is still doing better than one of the original members of Destiny’s Child, who was arrested for trying to sleep in the woods.

-Meanwhile, there’s more  chatter that the end may be near for Beyoncé and Jay Z. I’m not sure why; those rumours have been plaguing them for years. Maybe the difference is now they’re widely known?

-The TCA presentation for Kevin Williamson‘s new show Stalker did not go well. First, he had to defend the show against angry critics at the panel, and then he took to Twitter to call a particular critic an “idiot.”

-In much happier TCA news, critics are RAVING over The Affair, starring Josh Jackson, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Dominic West. I was already in because it stars both Pacey AND Alice, but I’m glad it sounds so good. Here’s the trailer.

-In other promising TV news, Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller is joining the cast of The Flash, a pilot I really liked.

-Even George Clooney recognizes that he’s “marrying up” with when it comes to Amal Alamuddin.  (Sidenote: this photo of her waist freaks me out. It’s just a weird angle, right?)

Billy Bob Thornton appeared on Oprah’s Master Class, where we learned that he wears women’s jeans from Old Navy and hates TV shows about cupcakes.

-The guy who plays Daryl on The Walking Dead just had the most Daryl-y weekend ever.

-In the most random news of the day, David Lynch designed a sportswear collection for women.

-I would really like Ethan Hawke to make me a mixed tape.

-The trailer for The Imitation Game features Keira Knightley, Benedict Cumberbatch, Matthew Goode and pretty much every other famous British person.

-Here’s the first teaser for Nightcrawler, the movie which Jake Gyllenhaal lost all that weight for. I really like all of the movie choices he’s been making lately, even if I don’t necessarily like all the movies (I’m looking at you, Enemy!).

Blake Lively Covers Vogue, Talks Preserve, Ryan Reynolds and Gossip Girl

Blake Lively covers the new issue of Vogue and the photo shoot is lovely but the accompanying article is…strange. So strange, in fact, that Jezebel compiled all of the weirdest quotes. (They missed the part where she slams Gossip Girl, though: “You’re not really acting anymore. You’re reciting. I could have fought harder and made Gossip Girl something different, but I also needed to have a life, you know?”) Ugh.

-In other magazine cover news, Kristen Wiig looks amazing in the August issue of Elle.

-Congrats to Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen, who just welcomed a baby girl.

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen styled a wedding, and it was actually kind of great.

Anna Kendrick shared a photo on her Instagram of the Pitch Perfect 2 cast having a pillow fight.

-Mr. & Mrs. Smith 2? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will reunite onscreen in a new movie that Jolie will also write and direct.

-Progress: Star Wars Episode VII now has more female speaking roles than the entire original trilogy.

-The cast of the Big Bang Theory is going the Friends route and demanding $1 million per episode. Yuck.

Tim McGraw slapped a fan upside the head when she tried to grab his crotch. According to his rep, he merely “swatted” her hand away. The video doesn’t really support that, but on the other hand, she tried to GRAB HIS CROTCH.

Conan O’Brien and Dave Franco joined Tinder and things got weird. Dave is incredibly funny and charming in this, proving he > his brother.

-What the hell is Jennifer Love Hewitt wearing at the CBS press tour?! On the plus side, Shane from The L Word is coming back to TV (and apparently hasn’t aged in decades).

-The trailer for the new season of Homeland is ok, but there’s nothing that could convince me to watch that show again.

-A sequel to The Secret Diaries of Lizzie Bennett? I’m so in!

Jason Biggs apologized for jokes about the Malaysia Airlines crash and deleted the controversial tweets. Too late, buddy.

-Here’s the first trailer for the rom-com The One I Love starring Elisabeth Moss, which got raves at Sundance.
