Gwen Stefani Expecting Another Boy

[instagram URL=http://instagram.com/p/jR3rkXOLWg width=400]

Gwen Stefani just revealed on Instagram that she’s having another boy, making this one her third.

-Us Weekly is claiming that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard really are engaged. Sigh.

Shia LaBeouf continues his charm tour by drunkenly headbutting a stranger at a bar. This video of him apologizing might be more annoying than this video of him actually headbutting the dude.

-The unretouched images from Lena Dunham‘s Vogue shoot are here — and they’re pretty much the same as the touched up ones. Jezebel really whiffed this one. I’m kind of with Diablo Cody on this: it’s mean-girling masquerading as feminism.

Meryl Streep threw a little shade at Benedict Cumberbatch last night on Kimmel, but in the most charming way possible.

Kim Kardashian is blowing my mind in this clip for Ellen, in which she shows a photo of Kanye West piggybacking their daughter(!) and talks about how they like to play Monopoly(!). She also mentions that Kanye is not “a diaper-changing type of guy,” which rights the ship.

-The only thing I learned from watching the Critics’ Choice Awards last night is that famous people love taking selfies with other famous people.

-Speaking of the Critics’ Choice Awards, Lupita Nyong’o’s acceptance speech was emotional and perfect.

Zac Efron may be having some…issues these days, but he was super sweet to a fan and then followed it up with a super sweet note on Facebook about meeting her.

-I can’t tell if this is a crazy unflattering photo of Jennifer Aniston or if it’s just uncomfortably close up.

Daniel Radcliffe is set to return to Broadway in The Cripple of Inishmaan. Sounds like he’ll be keeping his clothes on this time, though.

-The queen of daytime is also the queen of understatement: Oprah admits that shooting Lindsay Lohan‘s reality series has been “bumpy.”

Kyle Chandler is coming back to TV. Well, kinda TV — Netflix. Still, Coach is back, y’all!

George Clooney keeps recycling pranks and Matt Damon keeps falling for it.

-Meanwhile, a clip and two featurettes from The Monuments Men have landed.

-Orange is the New Black star Michelle Hurst (Miss Claudette) has woken up from her medically-induced coma following a serious car accident.

-Is this season of Community as good as Season 2? I’m not sure I’d go that far just yet, but last night’s episode was definitely streets ahead.

William H. Macy clearly doesn’t care for his health and safety. He just revealed that he took his daughter to a One Direction concert and is convinced those guys “couldn’t put on a good show with a gun to their heads.”

-He should hang out with Bieber-hater Jared Padalecki, who said last night at the Critics’ Choice Awards “I have a world full of 12-year-olds trying to kill me.”

Kate Moss clearly enjoyed her 40th birthday party.

This story is going to make you love John Schneider as much as your mom does. Seriously, I’m tearing up over here.

-Singer Trace Adkins checked into rehab for alcoholism after drinking aboard a ‘Country Cruising’ ship and getting into a fight with a Trace Adkins impersonator.

Idris Elba has released a behind-the-scenes look at the Mumford & Sons video he starred in and directed. Basically, it’s just an excuse to hear his voice for 6 mins.

Victoria Beckham is plotting world domination.

Brandi Glanville has apologized for joking about child molestation. Why do people keep putting microphones in this woman’s face?

-Even Kristen Stewart can’t make a Canadian tuxedo work.

-Meanwhile, Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons ended up buying Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s love nest for a cool $6.4 million.

-The teaser trailer for the Walking Dead’s return features a lot of characters openly sobbing, so that should be fun.

-When it came to The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a meh box office performance was actually worse than flopping.

-The first breakthrough out of Sundance  seems to be Whiplash, which got rave reviews at its premiere — so many that Sony already snatched it up. It stars Miles Teller from The Spectacular Now and it’s being compared to Drumline a lot, which basically means I’ve already bought my ticket.

-Speaking of Sundance, here’s the trailer for Listen Up Philip, starring Jason Schwartzman, Elisabeth Moss and Krysten Ritter. I’m intrigued, even though the title’s lack of punctuation kills me.

How Much Did Vogue Photoshop Lena Dunham?

Lena Dunham Vogue Photoshop

-Well, this has certainly taken a turn. Jezebel is offering $10k for untouched photos from Lena Dunham‘s Vogue photo shoot, which has led to lots of interesting discussions about what part of feminism says you can’t be OK with being retouched by Vogue?

-Meanwhile, the Vogue cover has clearly rubbed off on Lena Dunham. She looked lovely last night.

-There weren’t too many shocking snubs in this morning’s Oscar noms, though I am bummed about Tom Hanks (those last five minutes of Captain Phillips have stayed with me longer than any other movie sequence this year — save maybe Gravity’s opening), and “Please, Mr. Kennedy” (and I didn’t even like that movie!).

-College Humour nailed it with their honest movie posters for this year’s nominees.

-Meanwhile, I love that Matthew McConaughey didn’t pull the tired, old “oh, I forgot all about nomination day! My agent woke me up with a phone call” schtick, instead admitting that he had the family gathered around the TV.

-Leave it to the always classy Sarah Polley to have the best reaction ever to not getting nominated in the Best Documentary category for Stories We Tell.

-There are a whole pile of romance rumours surrounding the new Oscar nominees. Lupita Nyong’o has everyone whispering after she posted a photo with Jared Leto (actually, all of her photos from the Golden Globes are amazing). Her fellow best supporting actress nominee Sally Hawkins has been spotted with Colin Farrell. And Michael Fassbender is reportedly dating Madalina Ghenea.

-Speaking of Lupita Nyong’o, did Vanity Fair lighten a photo of her?

-On The Graham Norton Show, Jonah “I’ve Been Nominated for an Oscar Twice Now” Hill told a story about how a bathroom incident kept him out of the mile-high club. On a completely unrelated note: I love Carey Mulligan‘s hair in that clip!

Anne Hathaway was originally supposed to take Jennifer Lawrence‘s part in Silver Linings Playbook, but bailed over “creative differences” with David O. Russell.

Kaley Cuoco‘s new husband has her name tattooed on his arm, which is probably a really great idea for someone he met five months ago.

Justin Bieber may be deported back to Canada? But we thought we’d gotten rid of him!

Kylie Jenner has come to Justin’s defense, so I guess he’s got that going for him.

-The official Batkid video has been released. So many feels, guys.

-There are a lot of great-sounding films coming to Sundance this year — including not one, but two starring Anna Kendrick (Happy Christmas with Lena Dunham, and The Voices with Ryan Reynolds). Kristen Stewart‘s Camp X-Ray also sounds great, as does the rom-com satire They Came Together, starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. This clip made me laugh.

-On the other hand, I’m not sure if a romantic remake of 1984 is Kristen Stewart‘s best career move.

Jenny McCarthy wanted to be The Bachelorette but ABC, in a brief moment of lucidity, rejected her.

Kate Gosselin and her 13-year-old twin girls were interviewed on the Today Show this morning and it was totally cringe-worthy. They clearly hate their mother.

-Here’s the first photo from Prince‘s guest spot on New Girl.

-As if she wasn’t already a geek’s wet dream, Gillian Anderson announced that she’s writing a sci-fi series.

-I really hate what Keira Knightley wore to the Jack Ryan premiere. That’s what you wear to afternoon tea with your mother-in-law, not to the premiere of your hot new action film.

-Um, did you guys know that Pacey is coming back to our TVs?

-In other TV news, HBO’s Looking is getting rave reviews. It debuts this weekend.

-I’m in no way surprised or outraged by How I Met Your Mother’s yellow-face controversy, but maybe that’s just because the creators of that show are so obviously tone-deaf about everything these days.

Gisele Bündchen’s latest mouth bomb: “I don’t even own a hairbrush.”

-Did Tom Hiddleston just tell us Jaguar is his car of choice when you have to hide a dead body?

-The rumours that Ashton Kutcher is prepping his proposal to Mila Kunis continue to heat up.

-At the premiere of his new film, Dan Stevens reportedly refused to answer questions about his old show Downton Abbey. (More like Downton Crabby, amiright?!)

Uma Thurman told everyone who would listen at the Golden Globe after-parties “I need a job.” Classy.

-I don’t watch American Idol but every TV critic I follow loved the premiere (which seemed to have a lot to do with Harry Connick Jr., who cradled a contestant like a baby). The ratings weren’t so hot, though.

Cameron Diaz wants to tell you all about her poo.

-To promote the Veronica Mars movie, they’re creating a limited web series featuring Ryan Hansen (Dick) trying to capitalize on the film’s heat to land his own series. I’m so in.

-The other great thing about a Veronica Mars movie is that Jason Dohring gets to do press again. “I think I was in love with [Kristen] for the three years we made that show.” Swoon.

-I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks Parenthood is in a suck spiral this season.

-The kid who plays King Joffrey on Game of Thrones really doesn’t like fame.

Miley Cyrus and Kellen Lutz had a “quick fling” but now it’s over and the world wept.

Elizabeth Banks is stuck on an epic Walk of Shame in her new movie trailer. It looks cute. Too bad it doesn’t even look like her on the movie’s poster.

Lena Dunham’s Vogue Cover Revealed

lena-dunham-vogue-cover

-I very much like Lena Dunham’s Vogue cover and the accompanying shots (especially, oddly enough, the pigeon one). There’s also one of her wearing a bulky coat, which will no doubt lead to a Melissa McCarthy-esque controversy.

-Speaking of Vogue, Rihanna was photographed posing for a Vogue Brazil photo shoot, and shirts were clearly not a priority.

-Wow. This is not a dress I’d usually like, but Anna Kendrick is stunning in it!

Beyoncé‘s essay on gender equality is now available online to read and gush over.

-Is Miley Cyrus’ new haircut *supposed* to remind us of Jim Carrey‘s Dumb & Dumber ‘do? If so, it’s a smashing success.

-Meanwhile, Shia LaBeouf did not appreciate Jim Carrey’s joke about him at the Golden Globes. Weird — he seems like such a laid-back, fun-loving dude.

Rupert Grint talked about costarring along Shia LaBeouf: “He smashed the place up, got naked and kept seeing this owl. If anything will make you not do drugs, it’s watching that.”

Ashley Olsen is single again after splitting from her CEO boyfriend.

-Has Johnny Depp proposed to Amber Heard? That’s the rumour — and she’s certainly fueling speculation with her ‘don’t look at me!/please look at me!’ antics.

Johnny Depp is leading the Razzie Awards, tied with Naomi Watts for most nods.

Conan O’Brien responded to reports he fathered an illegitimate child by joking about it on Twitter.

-Speaking of denials, Josh Duhamel is calling bullshit on reports that he’s the Yoko Ono of the Black Eyed Peas.

Selena Gomez reportedly urged Justin Bieber to attend anger management classes. If only!

-I like Drake’s SNL promos, especially the one that references Degrassi.

-Is Stephen King trying to salvage Under the Dome? He’s writing the first episode of season two, and he’s promising two major deaths.

Justin Timberlake was nice this one time so I guess we should lay off him — for now.

Kim Kardashian might file a police report against the heckler Kanye West is accused of punching.

Emma Watson is already in the ‘meet the family‘ phase of her new relationship.

-I’m upgrading to a new DVR at the end of the week, which means there’s a lot of pressure to clean out my current one. I finally (finally!) finished the last season of Happy Endings last night, and it left me wondering if the show would have paired Penny and Dave if it wasn’t canceled. It turns out the creator had much crazier plans.

-The next time I’m stuck waiting in a line, I’m going to read this oral history of Hoop Dreams.

-Oh goodie. Jessica Simpson has joined Instagram.

Adam Scott is recreating another classic TV theme song, this time with Paul Rudd. I can’t tell from the photo what it’s going to be. Bosom Buddies, maybe?

-Supernatural star Jared Padelecki dared to question Justin Bieber‘s morals on Twitter. The nerve!

-Wait until the Beliebers hear what Joel McHale said about him on Conan last night.

Hilary Duff was spotted without her wedding ring, which is what usually happens after you announce your separation.

Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Fallon teamed up last night to mock Chris Christie and it was hilarious.
