-Congrats to John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. The Office actor shared the news on Twitter Saturday morning: “Wanted to let the news out directly.  Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today!” (I love the name.)

-In other baby news, Canadian singer Lights also had a baby girl on Saturday and named her, um, Rocket Wild.

Simon Cowell also has a new baby.

Cate Blanchett won a BAFTA this weekend and gave a lovely shout-out to Philip Seymour Hoffman in her acceptance speech.

-Speaking of the BAFTAs, I love and adore the tux Angelina Jolie wore. (I also love that Brangelina are stepping up their award show appearances, which bodes well for the Oscars.) I also liked Ruth Wilson’s outfit, I liked the idea of Gillian Anderson’s but hated the execution, and feel bad for Maggie Gyllenhaal, who got out-played by Helen Mirren.

Tom Hardy took someone who isn’t his fiancee to the BAFTAs.

Christina Aguilera got engaged on Valentine’s Day.

-Meanwhile, despite rumours John Mayer did not pop the question on V-Day.

-Ooh boy. Charlie Sheen is engaged to a porn star.

Ellen Page came out on Friday in a very brave and emotional speech, and E!Online quickly pulled the article about her that she referenced, in which they said she “insisted on dressing like a massive man.” Page has since returned to the set of X-Men in Montreal.

-I’m not going to lie: it’s a holiday here and I’ve already checked by mailbox twice to see if my Veronica Mars issue of EW has arrived yet. Does Canada Post deliver on stats or am I going to have to run to the newsstand and buy it? Because between the movie tickets already going on sale, and the building buzz, I don’t think I can wait.

-Orange is the New Black’s second season will begin June 6. Here’s a very short teaser.

-A preview of Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken premiered during NBC’s Olympics coverage.

Kanye West interrupted his concert to rant about the tabloids’ fear of his interracial relationship.

-Meanwhile, it looks like Kim Kardashian‘s little sister is getting more love from Vogue’s Anna Wintour than she’ll ever hope to receive.

Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel have been heckling Matt Damon on Twitter.

-Everyone swears vengeance on everyone in the new Game of Thrones trailer.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green reportedly welcomed their second child — a boy.

Jessica Pare is in this month’s Fashion magazine, and she both looks lovely and sounds smart.

-I really liked this NYT profile of Robin Wright, in which she talks a lot about Ben Foster. “He calls me ‘my lady.’ I don’t even know what era that is from, but he is, well, not my boyfriend. He is my man.”

Drake kind of apologized for his Rolling Stone tantrum.

-Speaking of that Rolling Stone issue, Cameron Crowe wrote a nice piece about watching Philip Seymour Hoffman become Lester Bangs in Almost Famous.

-Is anyone else super embarrassed for Jake Gyllenhaal right now?

Elaine Stritch just joined Twitter and it’s already making my life.

-Also making me stupid happy, Sarah Michelle Gellar reunited with Buffy costars Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg on the set of The Crazy Ones.

-Speaking of reunions, Lindsay Lohan shared a photo of her with Mean Girls’ Damian and Kevin G. Do you know how often I shout “Two for you!” at work? (Spoiler alert: a lot.)

-Here’s our first look at Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan in The Last Five Years, which I’m very much looking forward to.

-Here’s the full Friday Night Light/Parenthood crossover webisode.

-Did refusing to campaign cost Michael Fassbender the Oscar?

Elizabeth Banks says that Jennifer Lawrence “dug into” her birthday cake before anyone else (including the birthday girl) had the chance, which sounds about right.

-Meanwhile, JLaw has just been added to the Oscar presenters list.

-Those rumours that Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto are secretly boinking continue to heat up.

-Whatever’s happening with Jared, at least Lupita has Anna Wintour’s love.

Kendall Jenner showed off her nipples on the Marc Jacobs runway and the world gasped in horror as if that’s the worst thing she’s ever going to do. Pffffttt!

Emily Mortimer‘s new comedy series looks downright delightful.

Jason Patric says he’s fighting a legal motion to bar him from speaking about his son.

-Just when you think Chvrches couldn’t be more awesome, they go and cover Arctic Monkeys‘ “Do I Wanna Know?”

-In other music news, The Constantines are reuniting!

-How I Met Your Mother hasn’t even wrapped yet and already Alyson Hannigan has a new CBS sitcom.

-God bless you, Mariah Carey.

-Here’s a teaser for Scandal’s next new episode. Finally!

Veronica Mars Lands EW Cover

Veronica Mars Entertainment Weekly

-Celebrate, marshmallows! The latest Entertainment Weekly cover is all about Veronica Mars. Also, the behind-the-scenes video of Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring‘s cover shoot gave me all the squees. All of them. They’re gone. I’ve used them all up.

Drake has been saying a lot of things today that make me think maybe it’s time for him to go away for a lil’ bit. He thought Macklemore‘s post-Grammy text to Kendrick Lamar was “wack as fuck” (which I agreed with up until he said he wanted a text, too). Then he said that he was “disgusted” that Rolling Stone replaced his cover story with one about Philip Seymour Hoffman. And now he says he’s quitting magazine interviews altogether.

Rihanna has filed a lawsuit against her accountant, who she says lost her boatloads of money with his crappy advice.

Lindsay Lohan went to karaoke and reminded us that she’s not just a broken puddle of regret and spent youth.

Justin Bieber‘s mom isn’t going to “turn on him.” (She isn’t going to try to parent him either, but that appears to be a minor detail.)

-Is Jude Law back together with Ruth Wilson? He should be. Alice rocks!

-Even Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon aren’t above duckface selfies.

The video for Matt Damon and Ben Affleck‘s Omaze charity night is pretty cute.

Jared Leto attended NYFW, where he was shot down by models who wouldn’t give him their number.

Abbie Cornish is recording a rap album. For reals.

Prince William went on a “boar-hunting vacation” in Spain (with an ex-girlfriend!) and then attended a conference on illegal wildlife hunting trade, cause that’s how royals roll.

-The “blooper reel” for the LEGO movie is pretty damn hilarious.

Lil Kim  is pregnant. I’m guessing the kid won’t end up looking like her.

-I don’t know why Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are recreating scenes from Mean Girl, but I’ll take it.

-Also, if you’re a nanny you probably don’t want Mariah as your boss.

Here’s a preview of the Parenthood/Friday Night Lights webisode crossover. She calls him Lance, which makes my life!

Aaron Paul visited the Cheers bar, where he was spotting giving out hugs to people who approached him. Get thee to Boston!

Mindy Kaling‘s Instagram photos from the White House are pretty great.

Ellen DeGeneres is doing a post-Oscars show, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Kanye West went to a party and didn’t seem to have a very good time.

-No surprises here: The CW has already renewed Arrow, Supernatural, The Originals and The Vampire Diaries.

Ashley Olsen is reportedly dating the director of Moneyball.

-Does the world really need another Katherine Heigl rom-com? She seems to think so, judging by her new crowd-funding project.

-Another day, another appearance at NYFW by Blake Lively.

Leonardo Dicaprio gets all broody for the cover of Variety.

-Here’s the first trailer for Tammy, starring Melissa McCarthy and directed by her husband.
