Harry Potter Comes to The Flash

-Wow, Draco Malfoy just became a series regular on The Flash?! How can the CW afford that?!

–Gwyneth Paltrow on being named The Most Hated Celebrity: “I was like, ‘I’m the most hated celebrity? More than, like, Chris Brown?’ What did I do?” She makes a valid point.

–Scarlett Johansson is officially the highest-grossing actress in Hollywood history. I wouldn’t have guessed that, but good on her.

–Iggy Azalea tweeted that she broke up with Nick Young because she caught him cheating on their security cameras.  That’s terrible (and also a really weird thing to tweet).

–Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are not together this weekend. Looks like you’re up, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani!

-I never really thought of Matt Damon as a prank-pulling guy, but this is kinda cute.

-Well, I guess the Oscars are trying at least. The new Academy invitees are 46% women and 41% people of colour.

-This segment of The Wine Show featuring Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys playing waiters is maybe my favourite thing ever.

-This is nice: Rihanna sent pizza to fans who waited for hours in the rain to get into her concert.

–Dave Franco is grossed out by Emma Roberts. Seems fair.

–Bryan Cranston doesn’t want his daughter to sleep with James Franco. Also seems fair.

-This oral history of Angels in America is a long and lovely read.

-Also lovely, this interview with Aziz Ansari‘s dad on becoming an unexpected TV star.

–Tom Hanks plays a hero pilot in first look for Clint Eastwood drama Sully.

–Ellen Page steals a baby and tries to raise it with Allison Janney in the Tallulah trailer. Juno reunion!

Rihanna and Drake Perform “Work” at Brit Awards

–Drake showed up during Rihanna‘s Brit Awards performance tonight to perform “Work” and it was a grindy good time.

-Solid human being Ellen Page traveled all the way to Japan to help a young fan come out to his mom. No, YOU’RE crying!

–Victoria Beckham is now wearing flats and the interwebs lost all chill.

-This interview with an anonymous Oscar voter made my entire day. Their hatred of Leonardo DiCaprio and The Revenant feeds my soul!

-I hate House of Cards, but it turns out it’s not bad when Kevin Spacey and Jimmy Fallon are starring in it and it’s being written by kids.

-I have a lot of thoughts about this definitive ranking of every CW drama ever. A lot.

-We get it Helen Mirren; you’re a perfect person who can pull off any wardrobe.

–Adele voiced her support for Kesha during an acceptance speech.

-Meanwhile, I really liked this article questioning why Kesha’s abuse is being used to shame Taylor Swift.

-It kind of tickles me that Topher Grace seems to spend his days making fan vids. First he did the infamous Star Wars one, and now he’s edited together a Seinfeld reunion using Curb Your Enthusiasm dialogue.

-The New York Times’ interactive feature on what it’s like to work in Hollywood when you’re not white, male and/or straight is great, especially Wendell Pierce’s memory.

–Kanye West debuted a yet another new song, “Closest Thing to Einstein,” at a club. Still no official album, tho. Ok look, now it might not come out until summer. NBD.

-I very much agree with this article on how it’s time to kill a favorite character on superhero shows.

-Bless Mindy Kaling for showing her Spanx prep before a big event.

-The owner of the gigolo agency that used to employ Lea Michele‘s now ex-boyfriend has released a statement. Wow. So not helping!

-One of my favourite TV critics just wrote a defense of The X Files revival. I hear what he’s saying…but no.

-Is Chris Rock dating Megalyn Echikunwoke, the girl who plays Vixen on Arrow? I approve! (I’m sure they were worried about that…)

–Michael B Jordan is going to star in a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair? Just take my money now!

-It’s never a good sign when Andrew Garfield answers the first question of an interview with a deep sigh.

-The Scandal cast just won #TBT.

–Aaron Sorkin complaining that Twitter is “a little quippy for me” might be the most unintentionally funny thing I’ve ever heard. Also, he still hates the internet.

-Don’t you screw up the Blue Jays’ streak, Taylor Swift. Don’t you do it!

–Swift just donated $50,000 to her backup dancer’s nephew, who is battling cancer, so I guess we can’t COMPLETELY be angry at her.

-The great thing about Freeheld opening this weekend (besides it being a decent movie with a bunch of performances I really liked), is that we’re getting a flurry of interviews with Ellen Page, and she’s kick ass in all of them.

-Here’s a great history of the phrase “Netflix and chill.” My question: what if you ACTUALLY just want to watch Netflix and chill?
