-Now this is a cover! In Lizzo‘s Rolling Stone interview, she talks about being a body-positive role model: “I’ve come to terms with body dysmorphia and evolved. The body-positive movement is doing the same thing. We’re growing together, and it’s growing pains, but I’m just glad that I’m attached to something so organic and alive.”

-In happy news, Channing Tatum and Jessie J have officially reunited.

-In unhappy news, Lena Waithe and wife Alana Mayo have split just two months after announcing their marriage — and the rumours around the breakup are messy. There’s chatter that Waithe was buying Instagram models expensive gifts, and talk that she was spotted looking cozy at the Golden Globes with Cynthia Erivo.

-Ousted Grammy CEO Deborah Dugan is not going down without a fight. She appeared on the Today Show with some explosive allegations, including vote fixing and sexual harassment. She’s also suing the Recording Academy. Did I mention the Grammys are this Sunday?

–John Krasinski had a sweet Office reunion.

–Tina Fey is creating a movie adaptation of her Broadway musical Mean Girls — which started as a movie to begin with.

-Ever since I saw that episode of Succession set at the Davos World Economic Forum, I’ve assumed it was a week filled with weird rich people doing weird rich people things. This video of Julianne Hough receiving an orgasmic physical therapy treatment is doing nothing to change my mind.

-Despite our wishful thinking, it doesn’t seem like there’s much going on between A$AP Rocky and Rihanna.

–Brad Pitt says he can no longer remember the first rule of Fight Club — which is why he’s talking to the press about Fight Club.

–Grimes has created social media accounts for her unborn baby with Elon Musk and posted a clip of a 3D baby speaking directly into the camera about a impending apocalypse. God, I’d love to see her baby shower registry.

–Angelina Jolie has signed on to produce a BBC Show designed to help kids spot fake news.

-I love that Bon Appétit’s Claire Saffitz is big enough to be on Fallon!

-After leaving her nine-year relationship with Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgens appears to be moving on with LA Laker Kyle Kuzma.

-A sequel to Marvel’s billion-dollar-grossing Captain Marvel is officially in the works, and the studio is looking for a female director.

–Gwyneth Paltrow seems as embarrassed by her vagina candle as we are.

-Oh boy. Oprah‘s problematic book club pick keeps picking up steam. American Dirt is being made into a film by problematic Clint Eastwood‘s production company and written by the screenwriter of the problematic Blood Diamond.

–Anne Hathaway plays a journalist in trouble in the trailer for The Last Thing He Ever Wanted, an adaptation of the Joan Didion novel.

-I was home sick today so I got to watch Noah Centineo on Kelly & Ryan this morning. Which was perfect timing because I had just watched the new trailer for PS I Still Love You eleven times in a row.  The John Ambrose casting is really good; Jordan Fisher might actually be charming enough to give Peter Kavinsky a run for his money.

Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet: New BFFs?

–Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet were spotted together at a Bed, Bath & Beyond in Manhattan, but sources insist they’re just friends.

-The trailer for Taylor Swift‘s upcoming Netflix documentary has dropped and yeah, I’ll watch this.

-In her upcoming memoir, Jessica Simpson reveals that she was sexually abused as a child by the daughter of a family friend and later turned to self-medicating: “I was killing myself with all the drinking and pills.” She also says her drinking escalated during her relationship with John Mayer: “I constantly worried that I wasn’t smart enough for him. He was so clever and treated conversation like a friendly competition that he had to win…My anxiety would spike and I would pour another drink. It was the start of me relying on alcohol to mask my nerves.”

–Terry Jones, a founding member of Monty Python and a beloved comedian, screenwriter, film director, poet, historian and author, has died at 77.

-A critic detailed his experience after he said that SNL was no longer funny — and Michael Che spent the next few months mocking him for it.

-This is a lovely interview with Schitt’s Creek stars Dan Levy and Annie Murphy. She talks about showing up to one of his fancy brunches with a bucket of KFC (“Not that that’s what I connect with brunch. I just thought everyone likes KFC secretly deep down”), while Levy talks about the giant billboard to promote the show in LA that features him and Noah Reid kissing (“That takes a team effort because there are not a lot of networks that would put an image of two men kissing on a two-story billboard on Sunset Boulevard. Why? For fear of retaliation from, like, One Million Moms or some dumb hate group? I can’t. We’re fearful of the wrong people, ultimately”).

-Speaking of Dan Levy, he and Mary Steenburgen were just added to the cast of a gay rom-com starring Kristen Stewart and McKenzie Davis. God, give me all of that!

-Speaking of the Schitt’s Creek cast, this moderator’s exchange with Catherine O’Hara was so very Moira-like I guffawed.

-The full name of Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden‘s baby is Raddix Chloe Wildflower Madden. Ok, then.

–Kim Kardashian says she came up with the inspiration for her daughter’s name from a Jay Leno joke.

-YouTuber David Dobrik (aka the only one I only watch) went on Fallon’s show and talked about meeting Justin Bieber for the first time, and how the singer proceeded to tickle him. He also talked about how he got married to his friend’s 70-something-year-old mom just to become his friend’s stepdad.

-The photographer who grabbed that photo of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston backstage at the SAG Awards explained how she got the shot: “I was about to leave when I saw Brad coming down the hallway and sensed that there would be a photo-worthy moment. He called out ‘Aniston!’ and she turned around and they embraced and congratulated each other.”

–Gina Rodriguez, what are you doing?!? (She turned off the comments on her post, so it’s possible she was aware that this book review was all over Twitter yesterday.) And yet…

-This is quite lovely: Patrick Stewart appeared on The View today and surprised Whoopi Goldberg by inviting her to appear on his new Star Trek series.

-Speaking of Patrick Stewart, he plays a famous pianist struggling with stage fright who gets help from a music critic, played by Katie Holmes, in the trailer for Coda.

Taylor Swift Talks Politics and Politeness

–Taylor Swift is about to drop her new Netflix documentary (after it premieres this week at Sundance), and she’s promoting it with a Variety cover story. She talks about why she stayed silent so long on her political views (“Every time I didn’t speak up about politics as a young person, I was applauded for it. It was wild. I said, ‘I’m a 22-year-old girl — people don’t want to hear what I have to say about politics.’ And people would just be like, ‘Yeahhhhh!'”), revisited her VMAs moment with Kanye West (“As a teenager who had only been in country music, attending my very first pop awards show, somebody stood up and sent me the message: ‘You are not respected here. You shouldn’t be here on this stage.’ That message was received, and it burrowed into my psyche more than anyone knew”), and revealed sad news about her mom (“While she was going through treatment, they found a brain tumor. And the symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we’ve ever been through with her cancer before. So it’s just been a really hard time for us as a family”).

–Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a stern warning to photographers in Canada after paparazzi photos of Markle taking a walk with Archie in a public park in Vancouver were published.

-Meanwhile, Harryreturned to Canada (on a Westjet commercial flight!).

-I’ve only listened to the podcast from Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum a couple of times because whew, that guy is A LOT, but I tuned into this week’s Stephen Amell episode and it was pretty devastating. Amell taped it less than a month after wrapping Arrow and in the midst of his Code 8 promo tour, and about 30 minutes in he had a full-on panic attack. He returned a couple of weeks later to finish out the recording and talk about the toll that shooting 15-hour days for eight seasons straight with projects during hiatuses has taken on him.

-After declaring his love for Brad Pitt on the Ellen Show, Dax Shepard said Brad took him on a date: “In Brad Pitt fashion, it was spectacular. We took a helicopter… you think I’m lying! We took a helicopter to a motorcycle track. We both love riding motorcycles. Just the two of us took a jaunt up to this motorcycle track. I felt like Pretty Woman.”

-According to critics, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Lab isn’t as terrible as the trailer suggested? I’m shocked, frankly.

–Pamela Anderson just got married to a movie mogul. Good for her?

-This is a great interview with Aidy Bryant, who’s promoting the new season of Shrill. She talks about always being asked about her weight (“I feel like I’m a lot more things before that, like friend, wife, daughter, whatever. And I’m fat. I’m also a star! A certified star. I’m also rich now, so eat shit”) and how she had to fight for her character to have sex scenes (“How can you have a story about a person’s body and about their relationship to their selves and not involve sex? I just always felt like so many fat characters were so sexless, or the sex was hypercartoony, where it was like she jumps on a man and she’s going to break his dick off and suck him until he’s dead or whatever. But I always was having cool sex and had boyfriends”).

-Former Life with Derek stars Michael Seater and Ashley Leggat know all about Twitter rooting for their step-sibling characters to get together — and they’re cool with it.

–Oprah just picked a problematic novelfor her book club and people are not happy.

–Alison Brie plays a woman losing her grip on reality in the trailer for Horse Girl, which is premiering a Sundance.
