–Mary-Kate Olsen married her much older boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, and the ceremony sounded like, um…something. Everyone had to turn in their cellphone, and there were “bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night.” Wow, she’s really living the dream!

–Mariah Carey’s face as she’s forced to watch Ariana Grande sing is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day.

-I skipped The Walking Dead’s midseason finale last night to watch The Leftovers (which somehow has gotten really good!), but here’s the 2-minute TWD prologue that made Twitter lose its poo. I don’t get it.

-Also, TWD showrunner is defending the fallout from Glenn’s dumpster dive, saying”I don’t think there’s a credibility issue.” Aw, that’s adorable.

-An oral history of Hackers? Sure.

–The Fresh Off The Boat cast has the best Golden Globes plea yet.

–Taylor Swift stopped her car to meet a fan who was walking down the street wearing her shirt, which is pretty damn sweet.

–Justin Bieber cancelled some appearances last week for “personal reasons,” but felt fine enough to buy strangers shots in a college bar. K.

-CBS just ordered 7 more episode of Supergirl, which everyone is spinning as “full season pickup” but is it? That brings the total episode count to 20 instead of 23. I still think it’ll be renewed even though the ratings have substantially dropped lately because it’s bringing in a much younger audience to CBS, but this doesn’t feel like the vote of confidence I was expecting.

-Speaking of ratings, the creator of New Girl explains just how complicated they can be.

-I’m all in for this Midnight Special trailer, starring Kirsten Dunst and Michael Shannon.

–Melissa McCarthy is giving me serious bang envy on the cover of EW. Also, in a new clip from her film Spy, she protects (and lusts after) Jude Law.

–Anna Kendrick spoofs Indiana Jones in a new charity video. Seriously Hollywood, I would watch a full movie of this…

–Rachel McAdams is fierce in the new True Detective season 2 trailer. Sigh. Fine, Nic Pizzolatto. I’ll watch it. You wore me down.

-Hmmm…InTouch deleted an article about Patrick Dempsey‘s alleged affair with a Grey’s Anatomy intern.

–Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande covered “Don’t Dream It’s Over” in animal onesies because life!

–Charlize Theron and Sean Penn walked the Cannes carpet for Mad Max.

-The SuperGirl trailer actually looks fun (and Calista Flockhart seems to be having a ball), though I have lots of doubts that it can survive on CBS.

-Here are all of The CW’s new show trailers, including one for the Arrow/Flash spinoff, Legends of Tomorrow. It actually looks pretty damn good. I’m surprised they showed this much footage, since they haven’t even shot a full pilot yet.

-Crap, this new Julie Plece show looks good, too. What are you doing to me, The CW?!

-Although I guess I should stop feeling guilty about the fact that pretty much the only shows I watch regularly are on that network. In the fall, 3 out of 5 nights on The CW will be entirely exec produced by women, and they have two shows with non-white leads.

–Rebel Wilson cracked Jimmy Fallon up during “Whisper Challenge.” (Also, I saw Pitch Perfect last night and I loved it. It’s definitely more joke dense than the first.)

-Sadness: Johnny Depp‘s two dogs may be put down because he didn’t follow Australia’s quarantine rules.

–Anne Hathaway hires Robert De Niro in the first trailer for The Intern.

Ruth Wilson Talks Jake Gyllenhaal, Orgasm-Face

–Ruth Wilson (who will always be Alice Morgan to me) looks fantastic on the cover of The Edit, in which she dismisses rumours that she’s romancing Jake Gyllenhaal by saying “we’ve become like brother and sister a little bit.” She also balks at the direction she got during some of The Affair’s sex scenes. “I kept insisting, ‘Why have I always got to do the orgasm face?’ There should be a male orgasm face.”

-There’s more today from Jennifer Aniston‘s THR interview, including a bit where she waves off the Brangelina drama with: “Nobody did anything wrong…If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bullshit. There’s no story.”

–Aniston also flipped lips with Jimmy Fallon, to horrifying results.

-If Selena Gomez has taught us anything, it’s that our relationships aren’t real until they’re splashed all over Instagram.

-I’m still not going to watch it, but Empire is a (desperately needed) hit for Fox. It’s INSANELY rare for a TV show’s ratings to improve with each new episode.

–Anne Hathaway and Jon Stewart getting a case of the giggles over the plot of her movie is undoubtedly more entertaining than the movie itself.

-Here’s a peek at Mindy Kaling‘s new Super Bowl ad, in which she thinks she’s invisible. Rumour has it the guy at the end will turn out to be Matt Damon — though that dude looks really grey.

-I’m all for more female superheroes on TV, but the girl from Glee & Whiplash seems like a bit of a bland choice for Supergirl. (Case in point: I’ve watched both of those things and despite her photo being all over Twitter today, I still had to IMDB her to remember where I knew her from.)

-Speaking of TV, it’s interesting that all the big stories coming out of Sundance so far seem to be about the small screen.

-Also at Sundance, a new movie from the directors behind Half Nelson, which remains my favourite thing Ryan Gosling has ever done. Let’s see if they can do for Ryan Reynolds what they did for the Gos.

-One film that is making waves at Sundance is the Scientology doc based on Lawrence Wright‘s book Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood and the Prison of Belief (which I loved).

-More Reddit users have come forward with NSFWish tales of being approached by John Travolta at the gym at 3 a.m.

-Canadians may need to use some geo-blocking magic to watch it, but Amazon is streaming Transparent free this weekend if you want to see what all the fuss is about.

–Adam Brody is getting flirty with his stepsister in the first teaser for Billy & Billie. I miss that kid.

-Ohhhhh….a new Hannibal trailer!

–Archie Panjabi says she decided to leave The Good Wife after kissing Gillian Anderson. Seems about right.

-Congrats to Rachel Leigh Cook, who’s expecting a baby with the hot fake British guy from the Vampire Diaries.

-The first trailer for Tina Fey’s Netflix sitcom, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, has arrived. The post-TCA consensus from TV critics I follow on Twitter seemed to be that the pilot is a mess, but a super funny mess.
