In the interview, she talks about Jane Fonda being a fan of I Will Destroy You (“I imagine if I bumped into her outside of the supermarket, we’d be nerding out on all of the hidden meanings and layers because I can see that she really gets it. She watches it the way that I dreamed the audience would watch it”), and “meeting” Kerry Washington at the SAG Awards (“I imagine, if the show was in real life, she’d be sat over there and I’d be way too shy to go over and say, ‘Hey, I’ve been watching you on my screen for decades.’ I was still too shy to say any of that on Zoom, but she knew my name. -Sanditon’s cancelation has been reversed by PBS, which just ordered two more seasons of the show. I’m guessing this wouldn’t have happened without the breakout success of Bridgerton. I liked the first season well enough but it has the potential to be much better.

Lilly Singh’s NBC late-night show is coming to an end, but she’s keeping busy. She’s set to star in a scripted comedy for Kenya Barris at Netflix and develop unscripted far for NBCU.

Camila Cabello’s jump to acting hit a road bump. Her Cinderella movie is skipping its planned theatrical debut and heading straight to streaming.

-I haven’t watched Grey’s Anatomy in ages, but I might tune into this week’s for the Japril reunion.

Elizabeth Olsen is on the (unflattering) cover of Glamour UK digital, and says she has no plans to return to Instagram (“I’m never going back to social media. And it’s not even like I was bullied. [I thought] Wait, why am I even trying to create a character version of myself and put it out in the world?”), she didn’t always want to be an actor (“I thought I was going to be on Wall Street. I don’t know what I wanted, I was just good at math”), and reveals the career advice she got from her famous sisters (“The word ‘No’ specifically was something that I remember my sisters isolating and it becoming really empowering. And for women, it’s a really empowering word. People say ‘Just say no to drugs’, but truly, you can just say no whenever the hell you want! It’s really a powerful thing”).

-The crazy thing about Oscar predictions is that I literally have no clue how most of it is going to shake out. Not to mention there’s probably never been a year where there’s been less familiarity from the general public for the nominated performances/movies.

-Despite the historically low viewership of every awards ceremony so far this year, ABC has sold out ad inventory for the Oscars.

-I really like this review of Mare of Easttown. I was worried it would be too Broadchurch-y for me to want to watch right now, but it’s not just another grim murder show.

-The popular blogger Reality Steve is creating his own drama. He’s apologized after Demi Burnett accused him of making unwanted sexual advances.

Paris Jackson will star in the next season of American Horror Story.

-Speaking of famous offspring, Madonna‘s daughter Lourdes Leon got the Vanity Fair treatment. She’s gorgeous!

-Wow, the BBC is going to try to adapt Kate Atkinson’s Life After Life. Great book, but that’ll be a challenge.
