Elizabeth Olsen Announces Marriage from the Bathroom

–For Variety, Elizabeth Olsen did a video chat with Kaley Cuoco — and she called in from the bathroom, because her neighbor was doing construction and it’s the quietest room in her house. During the interview, she also let it slip that she’s married her longtime boyfriend Robbie Arnett. “I also just noticed that my husband put ‘Little Miss Magic,’ you know, the ‘Little Miss’ books? They’re these classic books, but magic because of WandaVision, because he’s such a fucking cutie.”

-Marvel confirmed that Loki is gender fluid in the MCU, bringing this version of the character closer to comic book iterations.

–Armie Hammer has reportedly checked into an in-patient program for drug, alcohol, and sex issues. I hope he gets the help he needs. I also hope the investigation into the rape allegations continues.

-In a new interview with Shape, the usually private Shailene Woodley opens up about starting a romance during the pandemic with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers (“We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early”) and her eco-activism (“I don’t want to save the ocean because my mind says it’s the right thing to do. I want to save the ocean because I can feel that she’s suffering. I can feel that turtle drowning from the plastic in its belly. I can feel the temperatures rising on the algae that is killing other species”).

-It’s possible that the palace staff found out that Meghan Markle gave birth the same time as the rest of the world this weekend.

–Jennifer Lopez was reportedly recently seen “scouting out new schools” in Los Angeles, where Ben Affleck lives.

-Well, this is unexpected. John Mulaney and Olivia Munn are dating, says People.

-In other surprising couples news, Kat Dennings and Andrew W.K. confirmed that they are engaged.

–Gal Gadot had a chance to redeem herself. She did not.

–Josh Duhamel says he sent Armie Hammer an email after replacing him in Shotgun Wedding. “I know Armie a little bit, and when I knew I was gonna get the part, I emailed him and said, ‘Listen, I know you are going through it right now, I don’t like to get roles like this and I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you and good luck, get through it.'” I wonder if he sent similarly supportive notes to Hammer’s alleged victims?

-Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres alluded to cancel culture when she announced her show’s ending, and today she said that the toxic workplace complaints were “orchestrated”. She told the Today Show: “I really didn’t understand it. I still don’t understand it. It was too orchestrated. It was too coordinated. People get picked on, but for four months straight for me. And then for me to read in the press about a toxic work environment, when all I’ve ever heard from every guest that comes on the show is what a happy atmosphere this is and what a happy place this is.” Right, because celebrities guests who pop in for two hours would have similar experiences as fulltime crew members.

BTS alone will make it a ratings monster.

-The Knives Out 2 cast keeps expanding. Yesterday we heard about Janelle Monáe, and today’s addition is Kathryn Hahn (who’s clearly going to be the murderer, ’cause it was Agatha all along).

–Grimes says she was hospitalized for a panic attack after appearing on SNL.

-I’m assuming Channing Tatum has a social media manager who posted this comment on Jonah Hill‘s post, but it’s hilarious and he should take all the credit.

-A massive flagship Harry Potter store in New York City is being planned. Read the room, guys!
