Lindsay Lohan Looks Forward to Motherhood

Lindsay Lohan cradles her baby bump on the cover of Allure and talks about impending motherhood (“I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom. Happy tears. That’s just who I am. Though now, it’s probably baby emotion. It’s overwhelming in a good way”) and finding stability in her life with her husband in Dubai (“Sometimes I call it The Truman Show, because it’s the same thing every day. But I love it. I really love structure, because I didn’t think I had that when I was young. Everything was coming so fast and I had so many things happening. My only structure was filming and being on set”).

-The news that Treat Williams died in a motorcycle accident is so tragic. His Everwood costars are paying tribute. Gregory Smith, who portrayed his son Ephram, said, “I will always cherish my time with Treat and think fondly of his stories, his laugh and his passion for adventure,” while Emily VanCamp posted on IG, “The many times we worked together- always wonderful and I was always excited for the next time. Sending all my love to your family, Treat. Fly high my friend.”

Emily Blunt talked to Brian Cox on Actors on Actors and said that Meryl Streep was “slightly terrifying” on the set of The Devil Wears Prada: “She said it was one of the first times she’s tried a bit of Method acting to try to stay in her own zone. It made her so miserable playing Miranda. Since then I’ve done two films with her where she’s a completely different, wild wonderful bird that she is.”

-Ezra Miller made their first public appearance in months at The Flash premiere last night. I’m actually surprised they walked the press line.

-The Flash is targeting a $70 million box office opening, which might be disappointing news for Warner Bros. as it cost more than $200 million to make.

-In happier superhero box office news, Across the Spider Verse has already outgrossed the first film in its first 12 days. I loved it (but Gwen being trans-coded totally went over my head.)

Camila Cabello is dating someone who isn’t Shawn Mendes.

-Author Cormac McCarthy has passed away at 89.

The Weeknd says The Idol’s sex scenes aren’t supposed to be sexy and his character is supposed to off as “such a loser.” Oh, well then. Nailed it!

Pat Sajak is stepping down as host of Wheel of Fortune, and Ryan Seacrest is rumoured to be the frontrunner to replace him.

-Wow. Disney just delayed all of its new Star Wars and Avatar movies. Some Marvel stuff too, including pushing back Avengers: Kang Dynasty an entire year, from May 2, 2025 to May 1, 2026. I’m guessing they’re giving themselves time for rewrites depending how the Jonathan Majors of it all shakes out.

Ncuti Gatwa says Ryan Gosling freaked out on the set of Barbie when Gatwa was announced as Doctor Who. “I remember Ryan Gosling bounding up to my trailer like, ‘Doctor Who is the coolest show in the world man! I’m the biggest fan.'”

Kristen Stewart says that she and fiancée Dylan Meyer are “writing a movie. It’s a stoner girl comedy, and it’s really fucking stupid.” I’m already seated.

-There was lots of talk around Twitter today about Tyler Perry finalizing a deal to buy BET Media Group, but it seems like it hasn’t happened — yet, at least.

John Boyega, Teyonah Parris and Jamie Foxx star in the They Cloned Tyrone trailer.
