Cory Monteith Gets Love From Glee Costars After Entering Rehab

Cory Monteith and Rachel Lea in a scene from Glee. (Fox)

-I was super surprised to hear that Glee’s Cory Monteith had checked into rehab, but good on him and his team for getting it under control before the public knew there was a problem. He’s being written out of the remainder of the season, and his castmates are Tweeting their support.

Ryan Gosling jumped to Eva Mendes’ defence when some guy called her “baby” — but then he realized she knew him and he apologized and shook the guy’s hand. So I guess that makes him both a protective BF and a gentleman who can admit to over-reacting?? Stop ruining all other men for us, Gos!

-Also, I loved his reaction to the news that there’s a Ryan Gosling hotline. “I’m feeling a little freaked out. I’m feeling feelings of freaked-outness.”

-I’m assuming Bryan Singer‘s tweet about Lady Gaga playing Dazzler in the new X-Men movie is an April Fools’ joke, right? RIGHT?! (Update: whew, it is!)

-Speaking of April Fools’ jokes, Chris Brown insists he’s a changed man.

Mariah Carey posted a bunch of new Instagram photos and they have to be seen to be believed. You’re gonna want to pour a glass a wine and really savour these ones.

Heidi Klum and her boyfriend helped save her son and two nannies when they got caught in a riptide during a Hawaiian getaway.

-Despite the fact that it was a total cop-out, last night’s Walking Dead finale broke ratings records.

Lindsay Lohan is in Brazil for some reason, wearing dresses that barely contain her boobs. But she’ll be back in NYC next week for what will no doubt be a disastrous appearance on Letterman.

-The first new trailer for True Blood as landed. Needs more shirtless Eric.

Nick Offerman is on a roll with late night talk show appearances! First he showed off his breakdancing skills on Fallon, and then he teamed up with Blake Shelton for a chicken-clucking version of “Ho Hey.”

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is getting his own variety show. If this were anyone else I’d snark on it, but that boy is totally snark-proof.

Gwyneth Paltrow allows her daughter to have one Coke a week (which sounds pretty fair, actually. Dammit, now I’m conflicted about GOOP again!).

-I love that when Rosie O’Donnell tweets about Drake, she calls him Jimmy Brooks.

-Want to see Matt Damon and Michael Douglas share a bathtub? Then you’ll like the new Behind the Candelabra trailer.

-Model Jourdan Dunn says Justin Bieber flirted with her at a recent Victoria’s Secret show. And by flirted, I mean he told her “You’ve got nice tits.” He’s a real charmer, that one.

-Meanwhile, Justin’s monkey was seized by customs officials in Germany. No, really.

Jennie Garth is wearing the same Old Navy bikini I tried on this weekend. Even though she’s way older than me, I did not look like this.

-Congrats to Jeremy Renner, who’s a new daddy.

-I liked all of these fake Kickstarter campaign videos for April Fools’ (though I would actually watch a new Sliders and/or Family Matters).

-Last night, characters on The Good Wife read Vampire Diaries fan fiction and my brain exploded.

-Speaking of TVD, ignore those split rumours: Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were photographed in Toronto this weekend while visiting her family for Easter.

Alec Baldwin interviewed Thom Yorke and awesomeness ensued.

-Despite being in obvious need of friends, Amanda Bynes just publicly dissed Hairspray costar Nikki Blonsky, who tried to reach out to her on Twitter.

Mamie Gummer is having a rough year. First her CW show got canned, and now she’s divorcing her Broadway hubby.

-Did Kentucky democrats elbow Ashley Judd out of her Senate run?

Carly Rae Jepsen has made a lot of fashion missteps, but this one might actually be her worst yet.

Seth Rogen and James Franco made a fake trailer for Pineapple Express 2 (which is actually a real trailer for This Is The End).

-The first trailer for Before Midnight with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy has landed and it’s already giving me SO MANY FEELS!
