Chris Pratt Opens Up About Divorce from Anna Faris

chris-pratt-entertainment-weekly

Chris Pratt is on the cover of EW to promote Jurassica World: Fallen Kingdom and in the interview, he talks for the first time about his split from Anna Faris. “Divorce sucks. But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”

-Meanwhile, the final trailer for  Fallen Kingdom has arrived. It looks very silly.

The Weeknd is “casually datingChantel Jeffries — who happens to be Justin Bieber‘s ex. This just keeps getting weirder and weirder.

Eva Longoria got a star on the Walk of Fame and so many famous ladies showed up, including Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon, Olivia Munn, Holly Peete, as well as her Desperate Housewives costars Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman.

Claire Danes revealed that she’s expecting baby No. 2 with Hugh Dancy. “I’m seriously preggo. I’m deep into my second trimester.”

-She also says that Homeland is going to end with season 8. (Meanwhile, Showtime says it has not made a decision yet, but since actors deals are up if it were to continue, it would likely be with a new cast. Just let it go, guys.)

-There was a lot of talk when the I Feel Pretty trailer first landed, with people complaining that Amy Schumer was too pretty to play an “ugly duckling” or that the movie suggests you have to be beautiful to feel happy. Fortunately, every review I’ve read seems to indicate that the movie has the opposite message, and it’s biggest target is the ugly side of the beauty industry.

-Also, Schumer refused to be retouched in the footage. “I said, ‘Do not retouch me in this movie. Do not retouch anything.’ You see my cellulite. You see my, my rolls, whatever.”

-I love Adam Pally. I love him even more after he was escorted off the stage for trashing the awards show he was presenting at.

-Netflix has ordered a comedy series starring Idris Elba as a DJ called Turn Up Charlie. He’s on such a comedy kick lately. It’s weird.

-This video of Kevin Hart taking Tiffany Haddish rollerblading is great. But before, she takes him to get discount pregnancy ultrasounds.

-People Magazine’s annual issue evolved from the “50 Most Beautiful” to “the Most Beautiful Woman” and now it’s “The Beautiful Issue.” Pink and her kids made this year’s cover.

-Oh great. Here comes all the “he’s ready for a comeback” articles. This week, we got ones about Louis CK, Mario Batali and Matt Lauer.

-This thread on who will survive Game of Thrones is perfect.

-Can Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak just get married already?

-I gave up on The Santa Clarita Diet really early, but my goodness it’s impressive how Timothy Olyphant continues to be the perfect late night guest.

-Glow is returning to Netflix June 29 — which they announced with this perfect video of the cast dancing to “Maniac.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd’s Cozy Toronto Date

https://twitter.com/SelenaHQ/status/843559601392041985

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd went to the aquarium and then rented out an entire theatre in downtown Toronto this weekend to see Get Out. Meanwhile, I feel bad asking for extra ketchup sprinkles at the concession stand…

-A very, very pregnant Natalie Portman stars in James Blake’s new music video, which was filmed just days before daughter’s birth.

-Disney’s Beauty and the Beast enchanted the box office, opening to an astonishing $170M in North America and $350M globally. Even more impressively, 72 percent of the opening-day audience was female and 45 percent was under the age of 25. (Personally, I liked it a lot. There were a few moments where I wished Emma Watson was a stronger singer, but it was still lovely.)

-This is a fascinating article on how consent played a much bigger role in the 18th century versions of Beauty and the Beast than it does in the Disney version. Just compare this dinner scene to the movie’s.

-It’s not a good sign when the stars of This Is Us feel the need to defend their season finale.

Penélope Cruz will play Donatella Versace in Ryan Murphy‘s next American Crime Story installment. Sorry, Gaga.

-After slamming Trump’s budget, John Oliver lightened the mood with dancing zebras.

Mark Ruffalo being all cute and supportive of his wife is my kryptonite.

Woody Harrelson says he’s quitting pot because he has spent “just 30 solid years of just partying too f*cking hard.”

Kim Kardashian detailed the events surrounded her Paris robbery on last night’s episode of KUWTK and it’s really hard to watch.

Drake‘s new album is getting amazing reviews. I’m going to need more lyrics about drunk-texting JLo before I can judge…

-Now that National Enquirer’s parent company is set to purchase Us Weekly (which will undoubtedly change it drastically), I liked this look back at how it fundamentally changed the game.

Rose McGowan is going HARD after the hackers who leaked her photos. Good for her.

Carrie Coon‘s accent in the new Fargo trailer is giving me life.

-The Big Bang Theory will never, ever end.

Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem play doctors in a war-torn country in the first trailer for The Last Face.

Scarlett Johansson Talks Breast Pumps and Wage Gaps

scarlett-johansson-marie-claire

Scarlett Johansson appears to stay mum on her recent split in her Marie Claire cover story, but she’s cool with talking about the time Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa accidentally ended up with her breast pump, so there’s that.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson keep trying to convince the world that they like each other, which is adorable.

Kanye West is now anti-Trump and has deleted all of his Trump tweets. A little late, but ok.

-Everyone is still talking about Melissa McCarthy playing Sean Spicer on SNL this weekend.

-Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart did a great job hosting. Her f-bomb was adorable (and she was very quick with her “and now I’ll never come back”), her monologue was great, and that Totinos sketch was perfection (especially when you consider how it built on the previous ones).

-Speaking of KStew, here’s the new trailer for her French thriller Personal Shopper which I really liked. Now everyone else has to see it so they can explain the ending to me…

Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele are expecting a baby which is wonderful because I am weirdly invested in their relationship.

-No, Lady Gaga didn’t really jump off the roof live at the Super Bowl. That part was pre-taped, which explains the weird cut aways during that section. It was still a boss performance, tho.

-A ton of new trailers debuted during the Super Bowl last night, including Guardians of the Galaxy 2, LoganLife with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, Baywatch, and F8 (which is heavy on The Rock and Jason Statham, which may explain Vin Diesel’s ‘tude).

-I’m glad I skipped The 24: Legacy premiere that aired after the Super Bowl which, according to the New York Times, was “intentionally or not, a one-hour Super Bowl ad for Islamophobia.” It’s strange because that was an issue with the original show, which they actually managed to correct.

-Whoa. Janice Min is stepping down from THR. (I met her once but was too scared to form actual words so it was just a lot of awkward nodding…)

Mandy Moore‘s Walk to Remember reunion pic is exactly what I needed to start this week.

-Speaking of Mandy, this is an interesting take on how This Is Us could be reshaping network TV. Its success may make networks lean into “cathartic entertainment” and leave the gritty dramas to cable and streaming, which makes a lot of sense.

Meghan Markle is now wearing an “H” ring. Hmmm….

-Today was the Oscar Nominee Luncheon. Nicole Kidman looked pinchedMichelle Williams’ shiny dress confused me, Octavia Spencer gave me major coat envy, and Ruth Negga wore an outfit that shouldn’t work but totally does.

-Meanwhile, here’s the giant photo of all the nominees.

-Speaking of weird outfit choices by Michelle Williams, what is this dress?

Damien Chazelle won big at the DGAs this weekend, which is one of the season’s most reliable predictors of Oscar-night glory. Despite a bit of backlash, I’m surprised how little the La La Land train has slowed down.

Conan O’Brien lawsuit offers a very detailed glimpse into how late-night jokes are created.

-This is refreshing: The Weeknd revealed that he had absolutely nothing to do with his fashion line.

-The new Stranger Things TV promo revealed its season 2 debut date: Halloween. Here’s a shot-by-shot breakdown if you’re really obsessed.
