–Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s new Harper’s Bazaar interview has to be seen to be believed. Read it, savour it, tattoo quotes from it on your limbs. (But not his comment about Kim’s nude selfies: “to not show it would be like Adele not singing.” That’s mine.)

-Super private Mila Kunis is revealing details about her super private marriage, including that she bought their wedding bands for $90 on Etsy.

-Supergirl’s first photo of Tyler Hoechlin as Superman is so…weird. CW, the whole point of hiring the actors you do is so you don’t have to Photoshop them within an inch of their life.

–Blake Shelton is denying reports that he endorsed Donald Trump in his Billboard interview. Sure except, you know, we can all read.

–Adam Pally‘s comments in this article on Netflix refusing to release ratings is so on point. It’s harder for creators to negotiate when there’s no measures of success. There’s also persistent rumours that Netflix pays writers sub-union wages.

-This profile of Howard Stern is actually a pretty fascinating reconsideration of his entire career.

–Cara Delevingne might be engaged to St Vincent!

-I agree with this review that it’s time for Mr. Robot to cut down on the super-sized episodes, mostly because Showcase in Canada keeps cutting off my recordings.

-Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel hacked into Mr Robot — mostly to ask Elliot to help him sync his contacts.

-This Instagram vid is going to make you fall in love with Gwen Stefani a little bit.

-When I first heard about the Beaches remake for Lifetime I was all aw hells no, but then I found out that Idina Menzel is taking over the Bette Midler role. Carry on, then.

–Justin Bieber’s strange relationship with exotic animals continues.

-As much as I love the Gilmore Girls, this article on how to make the show great raises a lot of valid points.

–Bradley Cooper‘s DNC appearance irked some conservatives because of his portrayal of Navy SEAL in American Sniper. It’s almost like actors and their characters are not the same person!

–Jared Leto‘s battle with TMZ about that Taylor Swift video continues.

–Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have finally agreed to a court date after accusing each other of stalling.

-Oof. The new Bourne movie isn’t exactly getting glowing reviews. How can Bourne be a bore?

–Ansel Elgort continues to release EDM music under a pseudonym. I can’t, guys. Not even for mocking purposes. My soul isn’t strong enough.

-No more drama: Mary J. Blige filed for divorce from husband Kendu Isaacs after 12 years of marriage.

-Sweet: Black Mirror is dropping on Netflix on Oct 21. Even sweeter: Rashida Jones and Mike Schur wrote one of the episodes.

–Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick get in over their heads in the new trailer for The Accountant. Anyone else not really buying Affleck as a socially awkward math geek.

–Kristen Stewart opens up about girlfriend Alicia Cargile in her Elle UK cover story, saying “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.'” She also talks about the different reception she gets when dating a woman: “When I was dating a guy…we were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not.’ I didn’t like that. But then it changed when I started dating a girl.” (Also, I love the cover.)

-I tried to get through Jared Leto‘s Rolling Stone cover story. I really did. That’s gotta count for something, right?

-Meanwhile, Will Smith made the wise choice to NOT get a matching tattoo with his Suicide Squad cast members, but he was there to point and laugh.

-Also, Will and Margot Robbie did a really weird Suicide Squad press event here that I didn’t attend and am now regretting.

-Did the movie studio ban Tom Hiddleston from taking Taylor Swift to Comic Con? Hahahahahaha!

-Taylor’s bestie Ed Sheeran maybe secretly married his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn recently.

–Elizabeth Banks led celebs in a “Fight Song” cover for Hilary Clinton that included Mandy Moore, Aisha Tyler, Connie Britton, Jesse Ferguson and pretty much every bit player from Pitch Perfect.

-I actually clapped this morning with GMA said that Shonda Rhimes decided this season of Scandal would be it’s last. Sadly, that’s not true.

-Speaking of Shondaland, Ellen Pompeo denies eating disorder and Botox rumours in the new issue of People.

-Here’s the first trailer for Marvel’s Legion series. It’s from the Fargo guys, so I’m intrigued.

-This deep-dive into Nancy’s fashion choices on Stranger Things is wonderful. (As is that show? Are you watching it? Surprise delight of the summer, especially now that Mr Robot and UnREAL are sophomore slumpin‘.)

-The Flash actors are awash in racial missteps this week. First it was Grant Gustin, and now Ezra Miller created a “scene” about Darren Wilson. Sounds like it was well-intentioned but a bit tone-deaf.

-Even though I have no idea who this fashion YouTuber even is, I got lost in the #savemarinajoyce web last night. Twitter has basically constructed a giant yarn wall to figure this thing out.

–Lindsay Lohan posted an Instagram message, saying this weekend’s social media posts were due to her “acting out of fear and sadness.” (Subtext: “Also, look how great I look in this bikini!”)

–Jay Mohr has dropped his divorce petition from Nikki Cox — 6 days after filing it. Love lives, guys.

–Paul Feig‘s next movie is going to be based on this Elle article about an insane real event in which supermodels were trapped in a Chilean snowstorm.

–Kate McKinnon being interviewed by a tiny Ghostbuster is the goddamn best.

-Spike TV is moving forward with its Carpool Karaoke ripoff, and has tapped Craig Robinson to host. I love him, but this is so weird.

-The reviews are generally positive for the new Harry Potter play, which is good because the plot sounds terrible.

–Martin Freeman and Adam Brody battle tech woes in the Startup trailer.

–Samantha Bee got into a Twitter fight with her own network. Bless her.

-The TCAs kicked off today, starting with Netflix, who announced Black Mirror will be released Oct 21.

-The big Netflix news is that all six hours of the Gilmore Girls reboot will land on Black Friday: Nov 25 (aka – the last day I will step foot outside of my living room). Along with the new trailer, they showed critics the first two minutes of the premiere, and it’s apparently full of fast banter (and a Gywneth burn). Meanwhile, Amy Schumer has already responded to her shout-out in the trailer, saying she’d love Lorelai and isn’t that into water sports.

Castle’s Nathan Fillion Breaks Silence on Stana Katic’s Exit

-Why does it feel like a network show is imploding every week these days? Today, it’s Castle’s turn. I don’t watch the show but even I’d heard rumblings about the long-rumoured onset tensions. Now the lead actress has been let go (add her to the ever-growing fired actress pile!) and though the official explanation is “financial reasons,” even the trades are mentioning her reported troubles with Nathan Fillion (who didn’t really help matters with his delayed, impersonal statement about it — especially compared with her other coworkers’ responses.)

-Meanwhile, Us Weekly says things got so bad between Fillion and Stana Katic last season that the network made them go to “couples counseling.” It clearly didn’t work.

–Jared Leto knew better to pull any of his stupid Joker bullshit on Viola Davis during the Suicide Squad shoot.

-Wayment — are we actually supposed to *feel bad* for Chris Brown when watching this new documentary?! Hard pass.

–Prince Harry and Prince William visited the Star Wars 8 set and it was ADORABLE!

-Meanwhile, Force Awakens favourites  Oscar Isaac and BB-8 reunited for charity. Also adorbs.

–Joss Whedon is very sorry for making everyone think he hated the last Avengers movie. (He still hasn’t apologized for his bitch-flounce off Twitter, tho.)

-Allow Taylor Swift to take you on a tour of her Beverly Hills home while talking about cats, cakes, terrible cocktails (vodka Diet Coke? Jesus.) during Vogue’s latest 73 Questions video.

–Stephen and Robbie Amell’s crowdfunding movie just passed the million-dollar mark. That makes me feel better about not contributing yet. I mean, I will eventually because I’m not a monster but still…

–Patrick Stewart makes a better woman than I could ever hope to be. Depressing but unsurprising.

-Buzzfeed titled this article “This selfie of Milo Ventimiglia proves he’s still the hottest of Rory Gilmore’s boyfriends” and my entire Twitter TL was like:

–Michael Strahan is leaving Live with Kelly and Michael. Can someone other than me break this news to my mother? I will pay you in doughnuts.

–Aisha Tyler talks about dealing with sexism and getting good advice from Jennifer Aniston in this new article about her crowdfunding efforts to direct. She also revealed on The Talk that she separated from her husband last year but is trying to shelter him from any public fallout because she’s a wonderful human being.

-Speaking of wonderful human beings, Tracy Morgan canceled a comedy show in Mississippi over their anti-LGBTQ law — and he did a special comedy show for the staff of the hospital that saved his life.

-“I’m a little gay & there’s a gay James,” says James Franco. Um, ok.

-Dafuq is going on with Elizabeth Banks‘ Power Rangers costume? The whole point of this movie is nostalgia so of course, just go ahead and change everything.

-I love that Emily Nussbaum just won Pulitzer for TV criticism. I’ve been reading her since she first posted an awesome defense of Sex and the City and I saw her moderate Mindy Kaling’s panel at the Vulture fest. She’s excellent.

-Holy crap, guys. NBC is so rough right now that The Mysteries of Laura looks like it will make it to a third season. How?!

–Emilia Clarke recruited the Broad City girls in her mission to “free the P” on Game of Thrones.

–Jennifer Garner‘s 44th birthday party included a marching band. I like her style!

–Stephen Colbert mocked Johnny Deep and Amber Heard‘s strange apology with his own apology to Australia.

-Vulture has a great piece on how every [white] actor you love will eventually make a superhero movie.
