-16-year-old Leni Klum covers Glamour Germany in honor of the publication’s 20th anniversary, exactly two decades after Heidi Klum‘s cover.

–RIP DMX. The Grammy-winning artist was one of the most successful rappers of the late 1990s, with his first five studio albums debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

–Gabrielle Union‘s tribute to him was incredibly touching. Kerry Washington’s, however, caused a stir for implying he and Prince Philip ended up in the same place (she’s since deleted it).

–Prince Harry is expected to fly back to the UK to attend the funeral. I’m sure the British press will still find a way to blame him and Meaghan for something.

–Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be co-starring alongside Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5. I’m torn: I want her to get ALL the money, but I also want her to keep doing interesting shit — and this ain’t it.

–George Floyd‘s family’s attorney revealed that George Clooney emailed him with some brutal advice for the trial: “You should tell them if Derek Chauvin feels so confident [that the cause of death was drug use], he should volunteer during his case, to get down on the floor in that courtroom, and let somebody come and put their knee on his neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds and be able to see if he can survive.”

-There’s been a lot of pap photos recently of Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson walking around NYC looking happy and in love. I don’t hate it.

-I don’t have the mental energy for a book club. But a gossip reading club? I’m so in.

–Emma Roberts is becoming a romcom queen and good for her. It’s in her blood, after all.

–Taylor Swift released her first fully re-recorded album, with some bonus tracks.

-Meanwhile, her fans are trying to bury the original album on Spotify so the new version that she owns gets all the streams.

–Kate Moss is the latest celeb to start selling NFTs.

-HBO Max has ordered a Magic Mike competition series, produced by Channing Tatum and Steven Soderbergh. The press release says it’s “an exhilarating and sexy series that will transform a group of men into real-life Magic Mikes. 10 men who have ‘lost their magic’ will come together in a competition series like no other.” Like they need to even sell us on it.

-Anyone else having a hard time making it through The Falcon And The Winter Soldier? There’s some big moments (like the last few minutes of the latest ep) but taken all together the show feels pretty middling.

-Poor Tom Cruise. Both Top Gun and the next Mission Impossible movie have been delayed again. Top Gun: Maverick is now set for Nov, while Mission: Impossible 7 won’t hit theatres until May 2022.

–Shenae Grimes is crowd-sourcing her baby’s name. What could possibly go wrong?

–Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer new Netflix movie Thunder Force is getting awful reviews. What do we have to do to keep Melissa away from hubby Ben Falcone‘s films?

–Viola Davis, Chloé Zhao and Regina King are on Entertainment Weekly’s Oscars issue. I have serious arm envy right now…

–Demi Lovato detailed what really went down between her and ex-fiance Max Ehrich. In her doc, she says “We were only together four to five months, and like, honestly, it was false advertising.” She added that starting to date in quarantine accelerated the relationship. “I think I rushed into something that I thought was what I was supposed to do. I realized as time went on that I didn’t actually know the person that I was engaged to…It was 2020. You didn’t get to ‘normally date’ like you do.”

–Ray Fisher spilled some tea in the new THR, and said he had to explain to Joss Whedon “some of the most basic points of what would be offensive to the Black community,” to which Whedon replied “It feels like I’m taking notes right now, and I don’t like taking notes from anybody — not even Robert Downey Jr.” Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa reportedly had similar experiences with the director, and a source told THR: “Joss was bragging that he’s had it out with Gal. He told her he’s the writer and she’s going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.”

-The article was not just about Whedon. It also talks about former DC Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer Geoff John. Apparently before Bridgeton, Regé-Jean Page did not advance in the casting process for SYFY’s Krypton because Johns said Superman could not have a Black grandfather, and he also prevented the Krypton creators from making one of the characters, Adam Strange, gay or bisexual.

-Meanwhile, Regé-Jean Page was reportedly offered an opportunity to return to Bridgerton as a guest star in three to five episodes of season two — at a rate of $50,000 an episode — but declined.

–Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first Netflix project will be a docuseries on the Invictus Games.

-I’m sorry, but Angelina Jolie as an elite wilderness firefighter looks a little ridiculous.

-Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Diplo were spotted at the same BBQ.

–Kate Winslet says she knows “at least four” closeted actors who are “terrified” to come out, adding ‘a well-known actor’ was recently instructed by their agent to keep their bisexuality a secret.

–Lena Dunham debuts her new project: a plus-size clothing line. Which is all well and good (though sizes only go to 26) and the positioning of the NYT article is very weird.

–James Charles has apologized for poor behavior. Again.

–Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley did an IG video together to celebrate his Jeopardy guest hosting stint.

-The showrunner of the CBS sitcom The Neighbors has stepped down, saying “At this moment, in light of everything going on in the world, I had concluded that I am not the right person to continue to tell these stories.” The move comes after two Black writers reportedly left the show over race-related issues.

–Andrew Garfield plays a charismatic stranger who helps a woman become an internet sensation in the trailer for Mainstream.

–Chrissy Teigen is on the cover of People’s Beautiful issue, and talks about her mom’s experience in America, the uptick in violence toward Asians, and her miscarriage. “We have this new home that we’re building, and this tree being planted inside. The whole reason why I wanted it was so Jack’s ashes could be in that soil, and he could be with us all the time and grow through the beautiful leaves.”

–Britney Spears broke her silence on the documentary about her, saying in an IG caption “I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in … I cried for two weeks and well.. I still cry sometimes.” (We’re assuming she wrote that.)

-Meanwhile, her father Jamie Spears is requesting she to pay his $3 million in legal fees — which he’s using to fight against her wishes in court. He also wants to keep his monthly stipend for being her conservator, even though he’s been replaced.

–Prince William is reportedly having trouble biting his tongue after Prince Harry’s tell-all interview. Let it all out, man!

-Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jennifer Shah’s virtual court appearance spiraled into Housewives-style chaos today because of technological issues — at one point, there were so many people on the call that she couldn’t get into her own arraignment.

-Also, there’s talk that the feds may have planted undercover agents in her glam squad.

–Demi Lovato is recreating her 2018 overdose in behind-the-scenes photos from her music video for “Dancing With the Devil,” which is expected to drop on Friday.

–Hugh Grant just starred in an HBO limited series; now it’s Colin Firth’s turn.

-Speaking of star turns in HBO prestige dramas, here’s the new trailer for Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet.

–Sarah Michelle Gellar has landed a new Amazon show. Excellent; she’s due for a comeback!

–Adam Brody gushed about wife Leighton Meester on Anna Faris’ podcast, and told the story about how they met at a Gossip Girl cast restaurant gathering.

-Netflix is reportedly closing in on a $400M+ deal for Knives Out 2 and 3 with Daniel Craig and director Rian Johnson returning. The deal is one of the biggest ever made for the rights to a movie series.

-CSI is getting the revival/sequel treatment with a new series called CSI: Vegas, which is bringing back William Petersen and Jorja Fox.

-Footage of Saweetie and Quavo having an altercation in an elevator is raising more questions about their split.

–Drew Barrymore is launching a new lifestyle magazine called Drew, which will be $9.99 an issue.

–Wyatt Russell is making a meal out of his Falcon And The Winter Soldier role and I love it.

-Godzilla Vs Kong hits U.S. theaters and HBO Max today, and it’s expected to have the best domestic opening since the pandemic first shuttered cinemas. It’s surprisingly well-reviewed.

–Penelope Spheeris (director of Wayne’s World, Suburbia, The Beverly Hillbillies) does not mince words in this Variety interview. “A male film director can get arrested for drunk driving while on cocaine with a hooker in the car and then go ahead and get a deal the next day to direct a $50 million dollar movie. If a woman director gets arrested for drunk driving, there’s no way you work after that, you’re a danger. When you got a male director on the set and he’s a screamer and obnoxious and hard to get along with, we call that a genius. And if you have a woman who’s a screamer and hard to get along with, they call that the wrong time of the month.”
