-The internet collectively freaked today when drakeandrihanna.com debuted with a giant countdown clock. What could it all mean? MTV came up with 36 possibilities before our dreams were crushed with the news that it’s probably fake.

-Meanwhile, Drake and Rihanna went on a dinner date last night in NYC so I guess that’ll have to be enough for now. *pout*

-I know it’s totally ridiculous, but dammit if I’m not buying everything Willow and Jaden Smith is trying to sell us in this Interview piece (conducted by Pharrell Williams, cause why not?).

-Oh FFS. Chris Brown posted an anti-cop rant as police arrived at his house to investigate reports he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun. Police found guns and drugs after he threw a duffel bag out of a window. And yet, I still saw tweets caping for him during this. Sigh.

-Is Joshua Jackson still pining for Diane Kruger? And is she jerking him around?! PACEY DESERVES BETTER!!

-The best thing about the end of summer is that it coincides with all the big network shows’ DVD releases, which means we get a whole lotta new gag reels. Out today is Grey’s Anatomy and Arrow.

-Say what you will about Ryan Reynolds (and I have), but it’s pretty great that he paid to have the Deadpool writers on the set of the movie when Fox wouldn’t.

Colton Haynes is a precious unicorn who must be protected at all cost. (Though he just landed a movie with Scarlett Johansson and Kate McKinnon, so he’s probably doing fine.)

Aaron Paul and Jamie Dornon are in a movie that’s opening this weekend and no one knows about it? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

-Send out some positive vibes into the universe today for Shannen Doherty, ok?

-More shady stuff is going down surrounding Leonardo DiCaprio’s charitable foundation.

Scott Eastwood says he didn’t notice any friction on the Fast 8 set. No one asked you, Scott!

Allison Janney plays a detective for the first time in Girl on a Train, and she says the role made her feel powerful on set. “I arrested Emily [Blunt] a number of times for acting infractions.”

-Here are new promos for Shameless and Younger, two shows I like when I catch them but can never, ever seem to remember that they exist.

-Shocking report: WB wants to make a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child movie trilogy.

James Corden pretended to work out at Kanye West’s gym with Teyana Taylor. It went about as well as could be expected.

-Dancing with the Stars really is really bottom barrelling with this year’s cast, huh?

Thomas Haden Church gets punchy in the Cardboard Boxer trailer.

Colton Haynes Opens Up in Out

colton-haynes-out-cover

-This Colton Haynes profile in Out is kind of heartbreaking. He had a rough childhood (he was told his dad killed himself because he found out he was gay), and is anxiety is so bad that he suffered panic-induced vomiting on set.  Hope he’s getting better; I love that kid.

-Well, well, well. Turns out The Rock really wasn’t talking about Scott Eastwood with that “candy ass” comment. TMZ reports he was referring to Vin Diesel and the pair were forced into an onset meeting yesterday to try to solve their issues. (I never doubted ONTD commenters, no matter who was tweet-disagreeing with me about it yesterday).

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green welcomed baby No. 3, a boy they’ve named…um… Journey River. So, that happened.

Kirsten Dunst is savage and I love it.

-Crazy Ex Girlfriend’s Rachel Bloom is the best. She rewrote her show’s casting notices for the female gaze, and shattered the illusion of red carpet glamour.

-For the first time in years, we won’t be gifted with a Taylor Swift album this October.

Jennifer Lopez just signed on to a new HBO movie about drug lord Griseldo Blanco that’s being co-executive produced by…Alex Pettyfer? Whaaa?

-The all-female Ocean’s 8 will likely include Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling and Rihanna. How come they’re stuck with a reboot? Surely someone could write something amazing for a cast like that.

-Speaking of Cate, her face is front and centre in the new Massive Attack video.

-Don’t tell me that Kim Kardashian doesn’t have a social media strategy.

-I actually kind of like Meryl Streep’s dress here, and I never like Meryl Streep’s dress!

-What do you think the press tour for Wonder is going to be like once Julia Roberts realizes lil’ Jacob Tremblay is getting all the attention? ::grabby hands::

-Now that season two of UnREAL has wrapped, creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro seems to be trying to walk back her comments in that New Yorker profile.

-This Vulture interview with Matthew Goode on The Wine Show left me swoony (more so than usual).  The fact that he and Matthew Rhys bonded on the set of Death Comes to Pemberley? Kill me.

-Congrats to Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles and his wife, who are expecting twins.

-What happens with the heads of 5 TV networks get together? You get some good/weird tidbits, including Netflix’s chief revealing that the two Adam Sandler movies premiered at No. 1 in every single territory of Netflix around the world.

-Damn right the DC/CW-verse crossover episode should be a musical.

-Oh god. They really went ahead and made a Bad Santa 2.

Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner make first contact with aliens in the Arrival trailer.

Megan Fox Calls Will Arnett Out for His Young Girlfriends

megan-fox-will-arnett-TMNT2

-I take back anything negative I’ve ever said about Megan Fox, because this story she told about Will Arnett on the set of TMNT 2 has convinced me that she is made of sunshine and awesome: “He would bring [girls] to set. They were progressively getting younger and younger as the weeks went on, and it got to the point where I was like, ‘Buddy, I’m worried. Should I talk to craft service and make sure they have Lunchables for your girlfriend?'”

Noah Galvin has released a statement about his Vulture interview, apologizing to Bryan Singer, Colton Haynes, Eric Stonestreet, and the LGBTQ community.

-Also, Vulture edited the original interview and cut Galvin’s comments about how “Singer likes to invite little boys over to his pool and diddle them in the f—— dark of night.”

-Meanwhile, I think Colton’s clapback was classy AF.

Mindy Kaling and Helena Bonham Carter just joined the female-fronted Ocean’s Eleven. This movie just gets weirder and weirder.

-Set your DVRs: Beyoncé’s Lemonade is returning to HBO next weekend.

-Set your DVRs, part II: the Tonys (aka – the only chance 99.9% of us are going to see the original cast perform Hamilton) are Sunday night.

Johnny Depp is heading to his private island in the Bahama. How great for him.

Stephanie Seymour doesn’t think Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid deserve the “supermodel” title. “Bitches of the moment! That would be a good title for them.” Marry me.

Celine Dion is the latest celeb to pull a GOOP and launch her own lifestyle brand.

-Nashville has officially been saved by CMT and Hulu.

Patricia Clarkson remains a total BAMF. On Hollywood sexism, she say “A white male actor should never be allowed to complain about anything. Shut up and sit in the corner.”

-The fact that former Grey’s costars Sandra Oh and Kevin McKidd still hang out makes me giddy.

-Is it weird that the new trailer for The Shadows kinda makes me want to see it? Clearly, this week has fried my brain.
