George Clooney Gushes About Married Life

George-Clooney-on-marriage

-In his new GQ profile, George Clooney talks about how Amal has changed his life. “I was like, ‘I’m never getting married. I’m not gonna have kids. I’m gonna work, I’ve got great friends, my life is full, I’m doing well.’ And I didn’t know how un-full it was until I met Amal.” He also talks about a brutal motorcycle accident he had when shooting Catch-22 (“When I hit the ground my mouth—I thought all my teeth were broken out. But it was glass from the windshield”), and why he prefers to watch others get into online fights (“I have much more fun watching Chrissy Teigen. Somebody steps into her world and you go, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t do that, dude.’ It’s so much fun. Like somebody who thinks they’re really smart, and you just go, ‘Ugh, dude. You brought a knife to a gunfight.'”)

Isaiah Washington is once again calling out Katherine Heigl over the Grey’s Anatomy drama that led to his 2007 firing.  I mean, she stood up for a costar when Washington used a homophobic slur so I don’t understand why he keeps reminding us of it.

Lil Wayne has been charged with weapons possession in a South Florida federal court, and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Rachel Bloom details the whirlwind journey her show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had to television in this audio excerpt from her new book.

-Watch the trailer for Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf‘s emotional drama Pieces Of A Woman, which is coming to Netflix. Saw this one at TIFF a few months ago and it’s good but crushing.

Timothée Chalamet Interviews Zendaya for Elle

Zendaya-elle

-I have extreme sneaker envy over Zendaya’s Elle cover. She’s interviewed by Dune costar Timothée Chalamet so the article itself is as substantial as cotton candy, but the photo spread is excellent.

-I’m trying so hard to get back into The Crown because I love Gillian Anderson, but man, that season premiere felt like it was 47 hours. Emma Corrin is great as Diana though. She covers the new issue of British GQ.

-Relationship shocker: Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have split after being engaged for more than 7 years.

-The People’s Choice Awards happened last night. The red carpet was more subdued than usual, but Tracee Ellis Ross and Demi Lovato still crushed it.

Jennifer Lopez won the Iconic Award, and Nicole Kidman and Renée Zellweger sent video tributes.

Jason Momoa was spotted shopping at Cosmos Records in Toronto, which is great and all but why the hell is he not wearing a mask while inside a store?!

-Man, Chris Evans is keeping us fed lately on social. He and Olympian gymnast Aly Raisman posted about hosting a play date for their rescue dogs.

Jennifer Garner listed the 10 things she can’t live without and I love that for the most part, they’re all inexpensive, normal people things.

-The Vampire Diaries’ Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev had a very cute exchange about adopting Justin Bieber.

-After months and months of John Oliver lusting after him, Adam Driver appeared on his show to ask “What the f**k are you doing?” He (fake) ranted “This bit? This bit, this thing you’ve been doing that’s either sexual or violent? This strange, strange bit that for some reason you’ve pulled me into? What is it? When you first started doing it, it was easy for me to shrug it off. But then it kept going on, and on, and on, and on… Do you realize, over this past year, what you’ve asked me to do to you? ‘Collapse on your chest.’ ‘Tie your fingers in a square knot.’ ‘Step on your throat.’ ‘Shatter your knees.’ ‘Pull your heart out through your ear.’ What’s wrong with you? You realize we’re strangers, right? I don’t know you. And now, random people on the internet stan us, claiming that you thirsting over me is a mood.” I love them both so much.

David Fincher says he’s developing a miniseries about “cancel culture” and I just let out the longgggggest sigh.

Jack Black did the WAP dance on TikTok, to glowing reviews.

-Netflix’s Dash and Lily is an underrated holiday gem, if you’re looking for a quick binge.

Taylor Swift was interviewed by Beatles icon Paul McCartney, and opened up about her relationship with Joe Alwyn, saying he understands her A-list lifestyle. “I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids. Whether that’s deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture—the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy.”

Melissa McCarthy (though more likely her networks’ publicist) accidentally promoted a charity that has ties to homophobic and anti-abortion policies and apologized. “There’s no other way to say it,” she said in an Instagram video. “We blew it. We made a mistake and we backed a charity that upon proper vetting stands for everything that we do not.”

-During a recent interview, Kate Mara says Heath Ledger looked out for her on the set of Brokeback Mountain. “I was 19, he was only a few years older than me, yeah, it was pretty crazy, but he was the sweetest thing…he really took me under his wing because I hadn’t worked that much.”

Will Smith gets teary-eyed in the new Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reunion trailer.

Billie Eilish’s new video makes me miss the mall.

-In the trailer for Lifetime’s The Christmas Setup, Fran Drescher stars as a mom who tries to matchmake her gay son. This is the kind of holiday movie I can get behind. It stars Arrow’s Ben Lewis and his real-life husband Blake Lee.

-Drew Barrymore stars in The Stand In trailer.
