–Keri Russell is on the cover of Town & Country and it’s times like this when I think I would for real fight someone if she asked me to.

-In an interview with the LA Times, Camila Cabello stresses the legitimacy of her relationship with Shawn Mendes. “That’s my boyfriend. This is real.”

–Jennifer Garner posted a collage of her reactions when Katie Couric arranged a surprise phone call from film legend Julie Andrews. It’s incredibly charming.

–Vulture has more info on Gabrielle Union‘s firing from America’s Got Talent last Friday. Apparently she was labelled “difficult” from the beginning when she complained about Simon Cowell constantly (and illegally) smoking indoors, and she annoyed producers when she asked drag performers about their preferred pronouns. Things got tense when producers told her they wanted to eliminate a 10-year-old black rapper and pick a group of white high kicking dancers from Texas because they needed to pick an act “America can get behind.” According to Vulture, Union is now exploring her legal options against the network. Meanwhile, both she and her husband tweeted about the firing last night.

–Ellen Pompeo has also been tweeting her support for Union.

-This is such a shockingly succinct example of the male gaze it should be taught in film school. Just like this should be taught in writing classes.

-Following her emotional confession yesterday, Melissa Benoist appeared on James Corden’s show to play the cellphone game with Evan Rachel Wood.

–Jennifer Aniston hosted her annual Friendsgiving dinner on Wednesday night and posted a photo of the enchiladas she made just for Jimmy Kimmel — though she didn’t appear to be too happy about it. Kimmel commented “Muchas gracias. This is a tremendous victory for me and for every American who believes turkey belongs on Thursdays. #noturkeyforFriendsgiving”

Taylor Swift’s New Song Gets Mixed Reviews

-I’ve watched Taylor Swift’s new video a trillion times already today because the song is catchy as hell (despite the critics — The Atlantic called it “everything wrong with pop,” Stereogum called it “hollow” and “lazy,” Vulture said it’s “cute but cloying,” and The Independent called it “toothless.”) But what’s the clue she supposedly embedded in the video? Is she engaged?

-Speaking of engagement speculation, Mindy Kaling’s Beyonce audition is very funny but is that a ring we see?!

-Our long national nightmare may finally be over: it looks like Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson have split.

-High School Musical actress Monique Coleman recalled the time when Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron got into such a bad fight on set that they shut down production for a day.

-This is a fascinating, sprawling conversation with Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern, in which Stewart talks about her sexuality (“It’s easier to have a longer conversation that requires patience, versus f*cking five years ago, when people were demanding that I come out as gay. And I was like, ‘Dude, how do you know? -I can only assume that Felicity Huffman is just *thrilled* that pal Vanessa Williams is talking to the press about their post-arrest text exchange.

–Harvey Weinstein‘s sexual assault trial has been postponed to September 9. Welp, that’s gonna make for an interesting TIFF.

-Avengers: Endgame is already tearing up all the record books with a $140M-$150M opening day, blasting away Star Wars: Force Awakens’ record first day of $119.1M. This thing is tracking for an opening weekend of at least $315M — and could make $1B worldwide.

-Everyone’s really worried about what’s going to happen in the crypts this weekend on Game of Thrones, but this fan theory is great.

–George and Amal Clooney throw epic pizza parties, according to Adam Sandler, who attended one with Jennifer Aniston when they were shooting in Italy. “They made us homemade pizza. It was an amazing time. I sat next to Bono. It was a great day…Every time I’m with Jennifer something great happens because everybody loves Jennifer and I tend to stay at home and do nothing.” I kind of love that Aniston seemed to get Clooney in the split with Pitt.

-Also, Sandler and Aniston have teamed up again for a Netflix movie. At least it seems like they got a cool paid vacation out of it?

–Jenna Dewan-Tatum opens up about her marriage to Channing Tatum in her new Redbook interview, talking about trying to find time to be together despite their schedules and bristling at questions about how she keeps the relationship fresh (“I hate that question. I’m like, ‘No. Why is it for your man? I do things to keep it fresh for myself.'”)

–Charlize Theron would like Vin Diesel to stop telling everyone that she loved their onscreen kiss. “I just don’t get it. He’s literally going around saying that I had the best time of my life” she said before adding “I like a little more movement in my men.”

-A new Lorde album means new Lorde interviews, which are always a hoot. In her NYT profile, she talks about her love for Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream,” saying “There’s this sadness about it, where you feel young listening to it, but you feel impermanence at the same time…There’s something holy about it.”

-Speaking of Katy, Orlando Bloom insists he and Katy Perry are still friends but added “it’s between us” so maybe stop asking.

–Shia LaBeouf will spend a month alone in a Finland cabin for an art project. Do you think that sometimes James Franco reads this stuff and then needs a hug?
