–Tyler Perry actually sounds pretty awesome in this interview about lightening things up on the Gone Girl set.
-I really, really didn’t like the book Me Before You, and I’m not sure Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin are enough to convince me to watch the adaptation.

-I apologize for the wonky/light posting schedule for the next week or so — it’s TIFF! My first film is tonight, which will feature the reunion of two actresses and a director who are currently at war with each other. Should be a tense room.
–Terrance Howard is already in town for the festival, and he delighted the crowd in Shangri-La’s lobby last night with an impromptu performance. (I wouldn’t have been delighted. I would have hid behind the nearest security guard, but that’s just me.)
-Everyone’s trying to figure out what will happen in the final four episodes of Breaking Bad based on their titles, which is adorable.
-The Emmys continue to sound like they’ll be a good time this year. Just announced presenting duos include Tina Fey & Amy Poehler and Zooey & Emily Deschanel.
-Amanda Bynes was hospitalized last night on an involuntary psychiatric hold after she set a fire in a stranger’s driveway. (I’ve read conflicting reports that she was either trying to build a campfire or trying set herself on fire, but either way she’s hopefully getting the help she needs.)
-I will never, ever get tired of watching Jennifer Lawrence freak out over meeting celebrities. Here she is fangirling over Jeff Bridges.
–Beyonce got her extensions caught in a fan while performing in Montreal and didn’t skip a note because Sasha Fierce is unstoppable! At least she could joke about it afterwards.
-Surprisingly, a baby was born yesterday that may actually be blessed with even better DNA than Kate and William’s. Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardemwelcomed a baby girlin Madrid.
-Out of all of the celebrity reactions to the royal baby, Kermit and Miss Piggy’s is the best.
