-What’s happening with Jennifer Hudson’s Cosmo cover? Is she dancing? Is she fighting? Also, I haven’t read Cosmo in decades but all of those headlines are hilariously bad.

-The Queen won’t let Kate Middleton wear nail polish? Man, I can’t wait until Megan Markle shakes this up.

-This interview with Melissa Leo is bananas. She talks about how difficult women directors are, says the reason she hasn’t been harassed by directors is because she’s “a small-breasted, red-headed woman with little eyes” and gets defensive over simple questions. The reporter calls it “the strangest and most uncomfortable interview I have ever done.”

-Here’s Jeff Goldblum coming up with hilarious, creative compliments for the Thor cast. I love that he uses exclamations like “super-duper” and “by gum!”

-This Sarah Polley profile is all kinds of wonderful.

-Here’s the trailer for the David S. Pumpkins animated special.

-The cast of Ryan Murphy‘s latest TV project is insane. Pose will star Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek and Tatiana Maslany, as well as the largest number of transgender actors in television history to have series regular roles.

-Was the set of Practical Magic cursed?

-Here’s the first trailer for Marvel’s Runaways, which critics are loving. I’m definitely here for anything that puts Buffy’s Spike back on my TV.

Mindy Kaling Breaks Silence on Pregnancy

Mindy Kaling spoke about her pregnancy for the first time in a new interview with Today — keeping it in the NBC fam. (“I have a lot of control over a lot of aspects of my life, and this is one where I’m like, ‘OK, it’s out of my hands,’ which is kind of a fun feeling.”) The full interview will air Sunday.

-Well, well, well…Jesse Williams‘ wife is now asking for sole custody, citing his dating habits and alleged temper. According to TMZ, she wants the judge to order him to keep girlfriends away from the kids until he dates them for 6 months.  She also claims that last month he threatened to kill his next-door neighbor after an argument and aggressively pursued him in his car with their two kids inside.

Reese Witherspoon says the Big Little Lies finale sequence is “better than about 95% of other movies I’ve been in.” She’s not wrong.

-Deadpool 2 has halted production indefinitely due to a stuntwoman’s death.

Joshua Jackson will make his Broadway debut in ‘Children Of A Lesser God’ and I’m so weirdly proud of that guy…

Riz Ahmed performed a stirring spoken word piece on The Tonight Show.

-You know the world has gotten really bad when even Jimmy Fallon is speaking out about politics.

-It took two years, but Amber Heard just emerged victorious from her feud with Australia over her dogs.

Jessica Chastain organizes high-stakes poker games with Idris Elba as her attorney in the Molly’s Game trailer, which is the most Aaron Sorkin-y thing ever. Especially the voiceover.

-Jesus, this Rob Kardashian vs Blac Chyna social media fight is messy.  Getting cheated on (allegedly) doesn’t justify him posting her nudes illegally. Revenge porn is a criminal activity. She has since accused him of domestic violence.

Taylor Swift’s 4th of July party was a no-go. These guys showed up instead. At least the teens waiting outside her home left with consolation guitar picks.

-Hawaii Five-0’s Daniel Dae Kim wrote a lengthy Facebook post about leaving the show after being unable to come to a contract agreement with CBS.  If Scott Caan and Alex O’Loughlin (who both reportedly make about 10 to 15 percent more, and also earn percentage points on the show’s back end) had pushed for pay equality, I wonder if the outcome would be different?

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are still a thing. I don’t get it.

-I really like this essay on how TV criticism has changed because even critics can’t keep up with all the new shows.

-A fired editor who worked for Vogue for 25 years gave a dishy interview and the fashion world is shook. Some bon mots: “The June cover with Alexa Chung in a stupid Michael Kors T-shirt is crap. He’s a big advertiser so I knew why I had to do it….The last womenswear collection at Marni was a disaster; it had terrible reviews. The show was appalling…Truth be told, I haven’t read Vogue in years.”

-I didn’t know I needed to see  James Van Der Beek as Diplo, but I really, really did.
