Brad Pitt made a 12-second appearance on John Krasinski‘s web show and it’s all anyone can talk about. (Fastforward to the 7-min mark.) The power!

-Meanwhile, Alia Shawkat of Arrested Development fame was spotted riding her bicycle over to Brad Pitt’s gated community on her birthday this weekend. But everyone’s still insisting they’re just friends.

Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are still going strong and are isolating together.

-In advance of Friday’s hearing against the Associated Newspapers, Meghan Markle‘s lawyers laid out their charges of invasion of privacy and copyright infringement against the Mail on Sunday. And I won’t post their image until they’re old enough to give me consent. As far as Ryan and I, it just works for us this way, To stay private.”

-Did you miss the One World: Together At Home extravaganza on Saturday night? Here are some of the best performances.

-Angel star J. August Richards came out as gay during in an Instagram chat today with Sarah Wayne Callies, his co-star on the new NBC show Council of Dads. “I knew that I could not portray this gay man honestly without letting you all know that I am a gay man myself…and I’ve never done that with the people that I’ve worked with.”

Oprah‘s TV doctors keep screwing up when it comes to covid-19.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis announced a partnership with Stephen Amell‘s Nocking Point to sell “Quarantine Wine,” with 100% of profits going to four different covid-19 relief charities. I wish when celebrities sat in their mansions and urged fans to buy things/donate to charity, they’d start by telling us how much they’ve donated or what material thing their doing with their wealth to also help. That would make these things so much more palatable. This is PR 101.

Keira Knightley played “Yesterday” on her teeth(!) and it’s surprisingly amazing.

Stanley Tucci making cocktails on Instagram is weirdly hot.

-I don’t know why this old Jesse Eisenberg interview made the rounds on Twitter again this weekend, but I will watch it whenever it crosses my timeline. His “hey, you’re on my time” makes me double take every time, even though I know it’s coming.

-The honest trailer for Cats is honestly delightful.

Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix show, Hollywood, completely reimagines the golden age of Tinseltown and stars Patti LuPone, Jim Parsons, Queen Latifah, Holland Taylor, and Darren Criss.

Megan Thee Stallion is Marie Claire’s latest cover star.

-I can’t imagine how annoying it is to be famous and have people hassle you when you’re out at a bar. On the other hand, I can’t imagine responding to said people by choking them. Ezra Miller is in hot water after video surfaced this weekend of him appearing to choke a female fan. This is not the type of scandal you want to get caught in when your character is gearing up to headline their own DC superhero movie.

Louis C.K. downplays his sexual misconduct in his controversial new special. One of his new gems: “Men are taught to make sure the woman is okay. The thing is, women know how to seem okay when they’re not okay.” Oh yes, it’s clearly women’s fault for not spelling out how they felt about you masturbating in front of them without their consent.

Channing Tatum and Jessie J‘s recent reunion reportedly didn’t stick.

John Krasinski surprised a young Hamilton fan by hosting a Hamilton reunion on his web show and it was *wonderful*.

-Speaking of TV events, Lady Gaga will curate the historic global broadcast special, which will feature exclusive appearances by Alanis Morissette, Billie Eilish, Chris Martin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves and more.  Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will host the event, which broadcasts live across ABC, CBS and NBC, as well as being streamed online, on April 18. It’s not a telethon or fundraiser; it’s just meant to entertain and convey messages of solidarity.

This thread reminding everyone about what really went down with Paris Hilton/Lindsay Lohan/Britney Spears in the mid-aughts is worth your time.

Keira Knightley‘s new movie is heading online early.

-Who knows when we’ll actually get to see the new Top Gun movie (December, allegedly) but they’re still releasing featurettes about it. It’s going to be so wild when summer blockbusters hit during the time usually reserved for prestige Oscar bait.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Dodges Game of Thrones Spoilers

Nikolaj-Coster-Waldau-Game-Thrones-Mens-Health

-Game of Thrones’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau covers the new issue of Men’s Health Magazine and I love how he handles questions about what happens to his character in the final season: don’t evade when you can just make sh*t up. “I can’t tell you anything about that. He grows out his arm. His arm grows back. Yes. It grows back, but not in the way you think. It’s a claw. It comes out as a claw. No — it’s a paw.”

Samuel L. Jackson covers the new issue of Esquire, and he talks about not caring about pissing off Trump fans by speaking out (“I know how many motherf*ckers hate me. ‘I’m never going to see a Sam Jackson movie again.’ F*ck I care? If you never went to another movie I did in my life, I’m not going to lose any money. I already cashed that check. F*ck you”) and why he has no plans to retire from acting (“It’s not like I’m digging a ditch. I go on set, do some shit. I go back and sit in my trailer for two hours watching TV, eat a sandwich, read. And I go back and do ten more minutes and go sit down some more. So, yeah, it’s a great job.”)

Felicity Huffman appeared in federal court in Los Angeles this afternoon, after reportedly being arrested at home yesterday for a college entrance scheme by FBI agents with their guns drawn. A judge ordered her released on $250,000 bond. Meanwhile, Lori Loughlin turned herself into the FBI in advance of a court hearing.

-Also Laughlin’s daughter posted a lot of videos that are now coming back to bite her in the ass.

-I very much enjoyed this article on Captain Marvel and the freeing power of not giving a f*ck.

-Is everyone finally starting to believe La Toya Jackson?

-Do you think Lindsay Lohan didn’t realize that Instagram was down for everybody today??

Keira Knightley can play “Despacito” — on her teeth.

Nick Jonas got Priyanka Chopra a $200,000 Mercedes. I guess having so many sponsored weddings worked out well for them.

-SNL announced its next few hosts: Sandra Oh, Kit Harrington and Emma Stone (with musical guest BTS, which will make the kids go insane).

-I’ve pretty much given up on TV these last couple of months, but the next few weeks of premieres is stacking up to be INSANE: Game of Thrones, Killing Eve, Jane the Virgin, What We Do In Shadows, Barry, Legends of Tomorrow, The Bold Type, Fleabag, Catastrophe, The Good Fight, Fosse/Verdon, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, iZombie, Good Omens. I can already hear my PVR groaning…

-One the I might skip is Netflix’s Turn Up Charlie, which Sepinwall says is less a TV show than a checklist of things Idris Elba wanted to prove he could do on camera.

-Another that sounds skippable is Arrested Development. The second half of season five drops on Netflix this weekend and the reviews are not kind.

-Meanwhile, Fosse/Verdon, starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams, sound like it’s unskippable.

-The Good Fight is back tomorrow night and according to reviews it’s still amazing. Too bad no one’s watching it because in the US it’s only available on CBS’ All Access app. (Though if it aired on regular CBS, it probably wouldn’t have lasted this long). I like the idea this writer suggests: CBS air it on sister network Showtime, much like BBC did with AMC once it realized what it had on its hands with Killing Eve.

-Ever trailer I see of Long Shot starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron, I get more intrigued. Here’s the red band version.

-Speaking of Seth Rogen, he produced Good Boys starring Jacob Tremblay as a filthy-mouthed sixth grader.
