Chrissy Teigen opened up about loving her post-baby body in her Good Housekeeping cover story.

Rachel Bloom introduced her mom to Lady Gaga at the Critics’ Choice Awards and it was super sweet.

-I’m intrigued by everything I’m hearing about Lana Condor‘s new show Deadly Class.

Michael B Jordan surprised students from his hometown. Gah, I love him so much!

-On Kimmel, Anne Hathaway proved she’s perfected her Matthew McConaughey impression after costarring with him in the upcoming Serenity.

James McAvoy revealed that one of his Glass personas was influenced by his Atonement co-star, Saoirse Ronan.

Rihanna is reportedly suing her father Ronald Fenty for trying to make money off her name.

-Whoa, what did Don Cheadle do to Kathy Griffin?

Tiffany Haddish and Tracy Morgan star in the teaser for season two of the TBS sitcom, The Last OG.

This tweet slayed me.

-I’m intrigued by the CW’s reboot of Roswell. The reviews are very mixed, with Variety liking it, and The Hollywood Reporter and the AV Club being a bit more critical.

Sasheer Zamata reworked Louis C.K. terrible jokes about the Parkland kids and showed him how it’s done.

-Yikes! Best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon told fans she suspects her husband poisoned her.

-My newspaper did a full-page spread today on why Chris Brown is trash and it was all kinds of amazing.

Chris Evans remains tied with Pine for the Best Chris title.

-The more Kevin Hart talks about what he planned to do at the Oscars, the more I think we dodged a bullet.

-I completely forgot that Jake Gyllenhaal is going to be in the next Spider Man movie and when he shows up as Mysterio in the new trailer, I legit squealed.

Chris Pratt Is Engaged to Katherine Schwarzenegger

-Is anyone at all surprised by Chris Pratt’s engagement news? They’ve been subtly planting the seeds in the press for a while (pretty much shortly after they met at Justin Bieber‘s Zoe Church in L.A. ) Also, that photo he chose is so deeply unflattering.

-The Critics’ Choice Awards were last night, and I liked what some people wore there better than what they wore to the Golden Globes (Constance Wu, Charlize Theron, Sandra Oh), while I am very confused why some people (Julie Roberts, Amy Adams) basically did a repeat of what they wore last weekend.

-Also last night: Rami Malek finally got his moment with Nicole Kidman.

-The Critics’ Choice Awards handing Roma the big prize is upping its buzz. I’m still not a huge fan (it’s clearly a technical masterpiece but it also left me cold), but Guillermo del Toro’s Twitter thread on why he loves it is very persuasive.

Meghan Markle reportedly told some children at today’s event that her due date is in April, and they’re not going to find out the gender beforehand.

Kylie Jenner has been beaten by a picture of an egg for the most-liked Instagram post ever. 2019 is already wild, y’all.

-Winter is coming — in the middle of April. HBO released a longer teaser and announced that Game of Thrones’ final season will premiere April 14.

-Speaking of HBO, last night’s True Detective premiere did way better in the ratings than I assumed it would.

-I loved that Kayleigh Donaldson’s Twitter thread outed an Instagram “influencer’s” scam conference and got the remaining dates shut down. (Donaldson hosts a really good industry podcast called The Hollywood Read if you’re looking for something interesting to stick in your ear holes.)

-Speaking of industry rumbling, the Academy is now fighting with its largest branch — SAG-AFTRA, who is calling out the Oscars for trying to prevent talent from presenting at other award shows using “intimidation.” Remember last year when the Academy added all those young, diverse voters and we had such hope? Between this and the hosting debacle, what happened?

Brad Pitt is hitting the Oscar trail for If Beale Street Could Talk (which I finally saw and LOVED). His Plan B production company is on quite a streak.

Miley Cyrusbirthday post to Liam Hemsworth is incredibly sweet. It’s weird how much I’m rooting for these two.

-Huh, all those blind items might be onto something. Tidal is under investigation in Norway over “fake streams.”

Travis Scott say he agreed to perform at the Super Bowl with Maroon 5 on the condition the NFL would make a $500,000 donation to his charity of choice (but people don’t seem impressed).

-It turns out that if you want to interest me in a Perry Mason reboot, putting it on HBO and casting Matthew Rhys is the lead pretty much does it.

-I love that Mindy Kaling retweeted this amazing thread of Kelly Kapoor as Pride & Prejudice characters.

-Speaking of great Twitter threads, I’m late to the game but last week HBO gave out Sopranos-inspired nicknames to any celeb/verified who asked for one, and it was amazing.

Tom Hardy and his wife Charlotte Riley have had a baby boy –– but despite reports they didn’t name him after Forrest Gump. Whew!

Ryan Coogler sounds awesome. Women who worked with him on the set of Black Panther said he created an environment where they could “cut past any of the normal bureaucracy of male dominance.”

-There is a new movie coming out starring Mel Gibson and Sean Penn and I have never nope’d anything harder.

-In the Little Woods trailerTessa Thompson must return to the dangerous life she thought she’d left behind.

Gina Rodriguez Talks Anxiety, Engagement

Gina Rodriguez cosmo

-In her new Cosmo cover story, Gina Rodriguez talks about her anxiety (“It started coming, like, two years into Jane. I had my first panic attack at a sushi restaurant. All of a sudden, I thought I was going to die, and people are taking pictures. It was horrendous”), and shares how dating fiance Joe LoCicero was a “new experience’ for her

Brie Larson has called off her engagement to Alex Greenwald after several years of dating.

-Does The Weeknd reference Drake’s secret baby in his new track?

-Jesus. Janeane Garofalo talked about Louis C.K. on a podcast and it was a mess. Around the 35-min mark she says: “Leave Louis C.K. alone. Enough with that. He’s been my friend since 1985 and I think he has suffered. When he performs at the Comedy Cellar and people get all irate…if nothing else, care about his daughters. If you can find no compassion for him (which I think you should), think about his how daughters who hear all of this stuff feel. Why don’t you leave him alone for them if you’re so women-empowering?” Then she goes on a rant about how everyone is misunderstanding what he did — even though he ADMITTED IT.

-You technically came out last year on Lifetime, but when Netflix picked it up for season two, it dropped the first season last season and now it’s suddenly found it’s audience, making it the latest beneficiary of the very real Netflix bump.

-Also, I liked this piece on You’s season finale (spoilers, obvs) and how the show is a ripe target for bad fandom and viewers who misread the show for their own ends, blithely ignoring that every character is supposed to be a loathsome monster.

-Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s return did great last night. It got its biggest ratings in two years, and improved on NBC’s timeslot by 50%.

-HBO is hop‌ing y’all will tune into True Detective on Sunday so that you can learn the Game of Thrones premiere date.

Noah Centineo is playing Riverdale star Camila Mendes‘ fake boyfriend in the upcoming Netflix movie The Perfect Date. Fake dating is my favourite trope!

-Meanwhile, Lana Condor admitted she and Noah Centineo have a ‘spark’ so they made a contract about their boundaries just like their onscreen counterparts in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Condor also appeared in Jimmy Fallon‘s high school musical skit alongside Bryan Cranston.

Amy Adams told James Corden about how she once annoyed Whitney Houston while working at The Gap: “She went back into the dressing room and requested anybody else.”

Timothée Chalamet was delightful on Ellen, where he talked about playing pranks on his mother and admitted he once locked his naked mom outside on a cruise ship balcony.

-The reviews for Sex Education, Netflix’s new teen comedy starring Gillian Anderson, make it sound like a total delight. There goes my weekend!

Cara Delevingne says she has lost 50,000 followers on Instagram since slamming R. Kelly. She doesn’t seem to mind though, adding “Goodbye silence and backwards followers, hello confrontation and forward thinkers. It’s going to be a loud year xxx #MuteRKelly”.

-Exactly how many projects does Jordan Peele have on the go? Here’s the trailer for his upcoming sci-fi comedy.

-A few days ago I posted the trailer for Little, starring Regina Hall and Issa Rae, and it looks so funny! But now I want to see it even more because I just found out that Marsai Martin, the little girl from Blackish, is an executive producer on the film (and is one of the leads), because it’s her concept! She also fired an agent who told her to “chill and take a break” when she was 10. I think I love her.

Jamie Dornan and Jemima Kirke‘s one-night stand gets complicated when she tries to DTR in the Untogether trailer.
