Oliva Wilde’s On Her ‘No Assholes On Set’ Policy

-In her Directors On Directors conversation with Emerald Fennell for Variety, Oliva Wilde elaborated on her “No Assholes On Set” policy, which people were talking about after she fired Shia LaBeouf.

-Production on Netflix’s star-packed Don’t Look Up was reportedly stopped today when Jennifer Lawrence was hit with glass in a stunt gone wrong. It sounds like she’ll be ok.

–Ryan Reynolds, Diddy and David Beckham (who all own alcohol brands) are donating $1 million to bartenders — and made a hilarious video about it.

–Lana Del Rey went Instagram official with fiancé Clayton Johnson.

–Lana Condor will star in and executive produce Netflix’s Boo, Bitch — a comedy limited series about a high school senior who, after years of playing it safe, decides to live an epic life … only to wake up the next morning and find out she’s now a ghost. I’m into it.

–T.I. and Tiny’s reality show has suspended production following those sexual abuse allegations.

–Van Jones was on The View today and it did not go well for him. At all.

-Legendary Canadian actor Christopher Plummer has passed away at 91. There are a lot of amazing tributes and clips being shared, but my fave is when he did a roundtable with George Clooney, Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender, Tilda Swinton and Voila Davis, and he talked about why he’d never work with Terrence Malick again.

-Netflix’s Malcolm & Marie tries to build on Euphoria and turn director Sam Levinson into a bankable auteur. Judging by reviews, things aren’t quite working out as planned.

-Levinson addressed the film’s backlash in an interview with Esquire: “There is this tendency amongst the establishment, and I mean white establishment critics, to categorize things and talk about them in a way that can sometimes speak to their own importance.”

Are Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart Still Dating After All?

-Well, this is awkward — or is it? W’s just dropped their latest cover story, in which Riverdale costars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart open up about love, the show, and what their future holds — just days after reports about the pair splitting up. They refused to be interviewed together when they talked to the mag in May (maybe seeing the writing on the wall?) but today they both promoted the cover on IG with posts that have their fans wondering if they really did split after all. Reinhart wrote “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know shit” while at the very same moment Sprouse posted “UNPRECEDENTED: Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart consume the flesh of ‘reliable sources’ to fuel their bacchanalian sex cult.”

-The speculation continues that Diddy is dating Steve Harvey’s 22-year-old daughter. Not only is she half his age, she used to date his son! That’s gonna make for some awkward family BBQs…

-There’s more rumblings that Constance Wu is acting not so great, this time on the Hustlers press tour. (Although I don’t really get what the big deal is about her publicists allegedly asking publications to mention her first when talking about the film’s cast; she’s the topped billed actor in the credits so that’s not unheard of.)

–Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 50th birthday with a banger of a party. I love that her birthday dress was designed by Donatella Versace — the same person who designed the Grammy dress that launched JLo into the stratosphere. (Did you know that dress was the reason Google Images was created? True story.)

-Orange Is The New Black’s Taryn Manning insists she’s not suicidal after posting a troubling rant on Instagram. I’ve loved her since Weirdsville and want only good things for her.

–Nicole Kidman claims she’s embarrassed that hubby Keith Urban has a lyric about her that goes “She’s a maniac in the bed, but a brainiac in the head.” Surrrrrrre she is.

-Queer Eye’s Tan France has a web series called Dressing Funny, and the season finale featured Pete Davidson. (Which was good, but not as good as the episode that featured Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch.)

-This year marks a new low for female directors at the Venice Film Festival. Out of the 21 films in competition, only 2 are directed by women. (Meanwhile here at home, TIFF announced its gala lineup earlier this week and 50% of titles are directed or co-directed by women — a record number for the fest.)

-Hollywood is closely watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s opening box office this weekend, considering it a test for audience’s appetite for original, adult-skewing Hollywood tentpoles amid franchises and sequels. Meh. I want more adult-driven films but I have zero desire to see this one — mostly because of reviews like this.

-This featurette for Where’d You Go, Bernadette really makes me want to see this movie — despite all the behind-the-scenes drama and delays.

-The Zombieland 2 trailer is here and it’s making me so happy! (I love that it’s called Zombieland: Double Tap.)

-Did Harper’s Bazaar stretch out their image of Rihanna, or is the girl really that tall? Either way, I’m impressed/jealous.

-Meanwhile, Rihanna alludes to her relationship with Chris Brown in the interview, saying “I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life. I’m afraid of feeling that again.” And Rihanna is suing her former accountants after learning that her last tour lost money, but they still pocketed 22% of the revenues.

–People mag continues to fight Katie Holmes‘ battles, detailing what life would be like for Suri if she grew up as a Scientologist.

-Meanwhile, Us Weekly is reporting that Katie looked tense and tearful during a phone call she took at yesterday’s lunch outing in NYC.

-The Cut reviews Katie‘s meticulously styled outfits worn in her first week of freedom.

–Brad Pitt may have once said that he didn’t want to get married until gay weddings were legalized, but Mama Pitt doesn’t seem quite so tolerant.

–Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are presenting a united front amid all those split rumours.

-Is 22-year-old Taylor Swift robbing the cradle with 18-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger?

-Congrats to Twilight star Jackson Rathbone, who just welcomed a new baby boy, while former Twilight star Cam Gigandet is expecting baby No. 2.

-Only one more week until Breaking Bad is back in our lives (i.e. – only one more week until I start peppering my speech with ‘yo’ and ‘it’s science, bitch!’ again. I apologize in advance to everyone I know). Until then, here’s 25 things you probably didn’t know about the show.

–Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are still going strong. (I heart her bathing suit.)

-Speaking of bathing suits, this is what Kate Hudson looks like in a bikini, just a year after giving birth. Le sigh.

–Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy have started shooting their buddy cop movie. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

-Ewww! The man who broke into Diddy‘s Hamptons home admitted to using the stars’ toothbrush.

–Rachel Dratch tries to fit in with the cool girls at the cafeteria by making out with a slice of pizza.  Silly girls. Rachel Dratch is cooler than you could ever hope to be.

–Jerry Seinfeld is starring in a new web series called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. I’m intrigued by the premise, even if I think Happy Endings‘ Adam Palley did it first.
