-It looks like the rumours were true. Us Weekly is reporting that Diane Kruger is expecting her first child with The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus.

-It’s a big day for Norman. He reportedly negotiated a huge pay raise ($20 million) to stay on The Walking Dead as news surfaced that Andrew Lincoln is leaving the show after season 9.

-Holy crap, did I NOT expect ABC to cancel Roseanne today. Yes, what she tweeted this morning was horrible, but she often tweets horrible things. There’s a lot of speculation that there’s more to this story and it wasn’t an out-of-nowhere decision by the network. Whitney Cummings quit as co-showrunner earlier this month, ratings weren’t as strong as when it debuted, and despite being the show ABC touted the strongest to advertisers at the upfronts, they had to be worried that an ignorant comment from Roseanne Barr in the future would spark an advertiser boycott a la Laura Ingraham‘s show. I mean, *something* else besides a terrible tweet had to be at play and in the works. ABC knew exactly who they were getting into bed with when they launched the show, and allowed a whole bunch of crap to go down before now, including the show’s Fresh Off The Boat/Blackish slam, and it’s fairy tale season finale. That being said, it’s still huge that they pulled the trigger. It was TV’s #1-rated and most watched comedy, prime time’s #3 program overall, and the ratings had stabilized. This means that ABC is going into the fall season without their biggest show, without Shonda Rhimes, and maybe without Black-ish creator Kenya Barris. That’s gotta hurt.

-The reaction to Roseanne’s cancellation was swift, with her talent agency dropping her, Paramount Network, TV Land, and CMT all pulling Roseanne from their respective schedules as of tomorrow,  ABC scrubbing all traces of the show from its press site, and in Canada CTV immediately pulling it from all its platforms.

-ABC is having a day! Bachelorette’s frontrunner Garrett Yrigoyen is under fire for liking social media posts that mock immigrants and the trans community.

Lili Reinhart says she isn’t pregnant with Cole Sprouse’s baby — she just took a bad photo. This is why bump watch is *the worst*.

-In her new Harpers Bazaar interview, Jenna Dewan reflects on the end of her marriage to Channing Tatum: “We’re just getting used to it. We’re in a very positive energy together, trying to be the best parents to Everly. We support each other.”

-Morgan Freeman’s lawyer is demanding CNN retract their sexual harassment story. How can he do this? He already apologized. Plus, there is VIDEO of him hitting on reporters at junkets. “You got a dress that’s halfway between your knee and your p-hips, and you sit down right across from me, and you cross your legs.”

Elle Fanning posting funny pics of Angelina Jolie on the Malificent 2 set is what we all need.

Uma Thurman is the latest movie star to head to the small screen. She’s headline Netflix’s new supernatural series Chambers.

-This piece on TMZ’s shift to pro-Trump media is fascinating.

Justin Theroux is vacationing in France with Spiderman: Homecoming actress Laura Harrier.

Robert Pattinson travels to west to marry Mia Wasikowska in the Damsel trailer.

Walking Dead Fans Shook By Death of Major Character

-I stopped watching The Walking Dead last year (best. decision. ever.) but Twitter went wild over last night’s big death. Also not impressed? The star’s dad, who slammed the showrunner: “Watching Gimple fire my son 2 weeks before his birthday after telling him they wanted him for the next 3 years was disappointing.”

-Meanwhile, Andrew Lincoln is talking about how his contract is up this season and has yet to be formally renewed for season nine.

-It’s been kind of amazing to watch stars like Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Justin Bieber, Hailee Steinfeld and more rally around that kid who was bullied. But now there’s controversy surrounding the boy’s mom following allegations that she’s made racist posts on Facebook. It does make you wonder why certain stories go viral — and others don’t.

-Last night word broke on Twitter that a celeb chef would be the latest famous dude to fall, with Anthony Bourdain adding “Monday is really going to suck.” Fellow chef Tom Colicchio tweeted “And no one should be surprised.” Then this morning came the news that Mario Batali has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. His response: “Although the identities of most of the individuals mentioned in these stories have not been revealed to me, much of the behavior described does, in fact, match up with ways I have acted.”

Jessica Chastain says a famous dude chastised her for tweeting  when the Weinstein scandal broke. “I was tweeting a lot at the time and actually got an email from a well-known actor that said, ‘Calm down.'”

-A source says that Matt Lauer is “weak and broken and ashamed” after his firing. I love this song.

-Another woman has come forward with allegations of being groped by Dustin Hoffman.

-To do a Spacey-free season, Netflix had to toss most of two completed episodes and about 5-6 finished scripts.

Josh Homme posted two Instagram videos apologizing after kicking a female photographer during a QOTSA concert.

-I seriously wish Tiffany Haddish was contractually obligated to be a talk show guest every week. Her story about dating a one-armed man slayed me. “Does he live with the X-Men?”

-The Golden Globe nominations are always weird, but there were some nutso snubs in this morning’s announcement. On the movie side, no Wonder Woman or The Big Sick or Tiffany Haddish. Over on TV, no Veep or The Leftovers — but Jessica Biel somehow managed to slide in there?

-Only five women have ever been nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Director in its 75-year history. This year, women were shut out once again. I really thought Greta Gerwig was a shoe-in.

This video of Alison Brie finding out about her GG nom on the set of Glow is pretty great.

-Netflix calling out the 53 people who’ve watched A Christmas Prince 18 days in a row is a bit squicky.  Not only does it reveal that they’re tracking us in a big brotherly way, why are they going after their (most likely) female fans? Squicky, I tell ya.

-Netflix revealed their end-of-year data, and you all watched a LOT of American Vandal. Which is odd, because I feel like it didn’t get a lot of coverage.

This X Files promo with the stars trying to explain Mulder and Scully’s relationship made  me laugh. (“I’d say were kind of back to where we were originally but without the unresolved sexual tension… Because we’ve already had sex.”)

-Whoo hoo! Atlanta’s season 2 returns to FX in February of 2018. I really thought we’d have to wait another year for this one.

-On the flip side, Sophie Turner says Game of Thrones season 8 won’t premiere until 2019.

-Previously.TV is doing old-school, Television without Pity-style recaps and I am SO HAPPY. (And I don’t even watch this show!)

-The trailer for Jessica Jones Season 2 looks wonderful.  It drops March 8, and all 13 episodes were directed by women.

Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin Reunited?

-CW stars Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin split last month after four years of dating, but it looks like they might be back on. This is some CW-levels of romantic drama. Way to stay on brand, guys!

-This profile on Elisabeth Moss includes lots of interesting tidbits, including the fact she memorized The Handmaid’s Tale’s frequent voiceovers so she could repeat them in her head when shooting those scenes so that the words would match her expressions, and that she signed on to the show for 5-7 seasons (which is troubling).

-Also, The Muse poses a good question: is it relevant that the star of The Handmaid’s Tale belongs to a secretive, allegedly oppressive religion?

Chris Pratt posted a deleted scene from Parks & Rec for TBT and now I want one every week.

-Also, Chris pranked a pet store by calling them and asking for advice on how to care for a Baby Groot.

Madonna is not a fan of Universal’s Blond Ambition biopic and she fired off a string of Instagram posts to let world to know. “Why would Universal Studios want to make a movie about me based on a script that is all lies???” she wrote in a now-deleted post. I’m guessing this means the producers won’t be asking to use her music in it?

-On the Tonight Show, Leslie Jones had a wild story for Dr. Phil and he had to figure out if it was true or false. Props to Dr. Phil for keeping a straight face when she starts talking about her date’s nuts…

-I was wondering why Emma Watson and Tom Hanks have been so quiet with promotion for The Circle, which opens this weekend. (Remember the weeks leading up to Beauty & The Beast? She was EVERYWHERE.) Turns out it’s because the movie is really, really bad.

Haim’s new video was directed by their mom’s former student — who happens to be Paul Thomas Anderson.

David Fincher is doing pal Brad Pitt a huge favour by agreeing to direct the World War Z sequel.

Keira Knightley and Andrew Lincoln filmed an adorable new Love Actually charity video inviting fans to visit them in London for “cuddles” and “a cup of tea.”

-It’s hard to judge the new season of Fargo because I’ve only seen one episode but I found it mind-numbingly boring, so I liked this article about how “prestige TV” is often  formulaic fare that’s serving you a Big Mac and convincing you it’s a steak.

-So Jason Segel is writing YA science fiction books now? Cool cool cool.

Scarlett Johansson and Tilda Swinton are in another white-washing controversy after being cast in Wes Anderson’s upcoming stop-motion film, Isle of Dogs.

-Why yes, I would like to read an oral history of Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion, tyvm.

Alison Brie plays a bad girl in the latest teaser for Netflix’s GLOW.

Alicia Vikander, Judi Dench and Cara Delevingne star in the new trailer for the period piece Tulip Fever.
