Jesse Pinkman is Back, B*tches!

-A Breaking Bad movie starring Aaron Paul is officially coming to Netflix, then AMC. It’ll be a sequel about where Jesse ended up which — I’m not sure I need? In my head he drove off into a happy, healthy future and I don’t think the movie will go there.

–Miranda Lambert reportedly dumped a salad on a woman during an argument in restaurant and honestly, this is the only thing salad has ever been good for.

–Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a production of Wider Earth last night and wow, she looks so much further along than she did last week.

–Jussie Smollett said he’s “pissed off” in his first interview since his attack.

–Chris Evans was not amused by the photo ET Canada tweeted of him, but Netflix Canada swooped in to save the day.

-I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy anymore but I totally want Amy Acker to get that sweet, sweet ABC money.

–Rachel Weisz talked about running for Supporting Actress despite Oliva Colman‘s insistence that they are all the film’s leading ladies.

-Some poor woman agreed to date Johnny Depp.

–Priyanka Chopra and Rebel Wilson tried not to flinch while James Corden tested their nerves.

-Netflix tracked and saved every decision viewers made while watching Black Mirror’s choose-your-own adventure, which feels like the premise of a Black Mirror episode.

-Netflix also announced that Queer Eye season three will drop in March.

-The cast of The Big Bang Theory treated their studio audience to one final flash mob.

-This is an interesting look at why the review embargo on Robert Rodriguez‘s Alita: Battle Angel may have been so early.

-Here’s the first trailer for The Hustle, a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson. I’m very here for Anne’s terrible/awesome British accent.

 

Ellen Pompeo Dances To Ariana Grande’s New Single

–Ellen Pompeo dancing to Ariana Grande on the Grey’s Anatomy set is the cutest thing you’ll see today.

-During a pop-up show last night in New York City, Aziz Ansari finally addressed that Babe.net article, and he said all the things he should have said when he first resurfaced, including “It made me think about a lot, and I hope I’ve become a better person…If that has made not just me but other guys think about this, and just be more thoughtful and aware and willing to go that extra mile, and make sure someone else is comfortable in that moment, that’s a good thing.”

–Drake asked the mayor to change the colour of the CN Tower lights to celebrate his Grammy win — so he did.

–Brie Larson is doing her part to make sure the Captain Marvel press days are as inclusive as possible: “I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be overwhelmingly white male.” Not all superheroes wear capes — but this one does!

-Also, this video of her pushing a 5000lb Jeep makes me love her even more.

–Michelle Rodriguez apologized for that weird comment about how Liam Neeson can’t be racist because he passionately kissed Viola Davis in Widows.

-Do you think this is just really bad timing on Ellen’s part, or has she stepped in it again?

–George Clooney joked about being the godfather to Meghan and Harry’s baby and now that’s all I want.

-Oh god, now Frasier may be coming back.

-I somehow missed Lady Gaga shading Ryan Seacrest’s interview skills on the Grammys red carpet, but it was glorious.

-This sneak peek at Catastrophe’s final season is so good. “Medically, you’re saying if you took a normal-sized mannequin and filled it with meatballs and margarine, that’d be me?”

–Liam Hemsworth couldn’t make it to the premiere of his new movie Isn’t It Romantic because he was briefly hospitalized over the weekend, but new wife Miley Cyrus had his back.

-I don’t know how this happened, but Rebel Wilson’s new movie Isn’t It Romantic is getting good reviews. I was going to see it either way, but yay!

-HBO is still trying to make The Confederate happen. Good lord.

–Joanna Lumley’s opening was reportedly so poorly received that BAFTA edited out all of the jokes that didn’t land with viewers when uploading the monologue to its YouTube page.

–Danny Boyle‘s new Beatles movie Yesterday has a sci-fi twist as an ordinary dude becomes a pop star.

-The new trailer for Aidy Brant’s Hulu show Shrill looks great.

-Speaking of new Hulu shows, everyone’s trying to get out of WWII in the first trailer for Catch-22, Hulu’s limited series starring George Clooney and Kyle Chandler.

Stop Shipping Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt

–Jennifer Aniston threw a 50th birthday bash this weekend and the guest list was insane (George, Amal, Gwyneth, Reese, Sandra, Kate, Orlando, Katy, Demi, RDJ, Courteney, Ellen, etc.) but the guest that everyone’s buzzing about today is her ex-hubby Brad Pitt. Not surprisingly, people from her camp are already shooting down talk of a reconciliation, pointing out that they only chatted briefly and “they definitely aren’t dating or on that path. They are friendly, but that’s it.”

-God, I could watch this video of Anne Hathaway shading James Franco for hanging her out to dry at the Oscars on repeat for a month.

–Chris Pratt responded to Ellen Page‘s criticism of his church with a long-winded, poorly designed IG story.

-Congrats to Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist, who announced her engagement to former costar Chris Wood.

-Fleabag season 2 is starting in March.

-Hulu is delaying the third season of The Handmaid’s Tale until June, putting it out of Emmy contention. (They claim it’s not because of GoT, but come on.)

-Hulu also previewed the new Veronica Mars reboot, promising a more mature take.

-The official website for Captain Marvel (which is set in the 90s) looks like it was built on Angelfire and it’s total perfection!

-The BAFTAs took place in London this weekend, and Olivia Colman gave another perfect speech (“We’re gonna get so pissed later!”) while Cate Blanchett looked like she was collecting infinity stones.

–Trevor Noah‘s thoughts on the Liam Neeson debacle are worth a listen.

-As part of her cover story with Justin, Hailey Baldwin answered Vogue’s 73 questions. It’s awkwardly stiff.

–Chris Brown needs to stay the hell away from Cardi B. And, you know, everyone else.

-I really liked this profile on Roma’s Yalitza Aparicio, which challenges the fairy tale narrative that’s been building all season.

-Did Sean Penn really write a column about how Bradley Cooper should have been nominated for Best Director? Really?! It’s his FIRST movie! I would have rather seen Destroyer’s Karyn Kusama or Can You Ever Forgive Me?’s Marielle Heller get a nom before Cooper.

-Oscars is relegating four categories to commercial breaks, including editing and cinematography. You know, that things that actually make movies good.

-No surprise here: Bryan Singer‘s Red Sonja has been put on the back burner.

–Lin-Manuel Miranda will guest star on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He basically tweeted that show into survival, so this is lovely.

-It looks like Warner Bros is actually going to pull Friends from Netflix for their own streaming app.
