Jennifer Lopez Is Feeling It

Jennifer Lopez and her Second Act co-star Milo Ventimiglia played “Can You Feel It?” on Fallon. There is not enough money in the world to get me to stick my hand in that box.

-Meanwhile, JLo has been killing it fashion-wise on this press tour.

-Us Weekly claims that Joe Alwyn may be getting ready to propose to Taylor Swift, and Chris Martin may be getting ready to propose to Dakota Johnson. Do they have spies at jewelry stores or something? Oh god, do they?!?

Donald Trump might actually believe that Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne. I buy it.

-I don’t watch Supernatural, but my Twitter feed got very excited by the news that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is returning for its 300th ep. (Also, 300 episodes?! That’s insane.)

-This story is bananas: Josh Henderson (Desperate Housewives, The Arrangement, Dallas) was arrested for burglary charges after his neighbors came home this weekend to find about $7,000 worth of jewelry missing, and claimed that surveillance footage showed the actor and two other men breaking in. His camp says it’s a case of mistaken identity.

Matt Damon gets shafted in a Secret Santa game with Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson in the new SNL promo.

-Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus says she’s going to star in the new season of Black Mirror. Sure, why not?

Pete Davidson went to dinner with a woman Carbone and someone snapped a photo of it.

-The Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations came out today, which people look very closely at because they tend to be a good indicator for the Oscars. It was good news for Black Panther’s Oscar chances (though Michael B Jordan didn’t get the supporting nod many were hoping would seal the deal), but there were a lot of surprising snubs (First Man, Eighth Grade, Beale Street). The TV side was a mess though — lots of Ozark, but no Keri Russell or The Good Place? Really?!?

-I really liked this interview from the Outlaw King director talking about rushing to edit the movie after its brutal TIFF premiere.

Maroon 5 reportedly can’t find guests to join them at the Super Bowl and I’m laughing forever…

-My biggest takeaway from the CW crossover: Tyler Hoechlin needs his own Superman show. I know the whole thing was supposed to push Ruby Rose as Batwoman, but he was the new face that stole the show. Also, the fact that he was super dreamy to his pregnant costar during filming is icing on the cake!

-Pixa just announced their next movie and it has an insanely good cast.

-Nice! Vice asked Devon Sawa (who starred in Eminem’s Stan video) who he stans.

Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson are promoting Luther’s new season together and I’m ALIVE!

-The second trailer for Sandra Bullock’s Netflix horror Bird Box is here. We’re all going to be afraid to leave our houses after we watch this over the holidays, huh?

Meghan Markle Goes Rogue

-As soon as I saw the photos and video of Meghan Markle‘s surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards, I knew Lainey would lose it over the excessive belly-cupping. But were the stomach grabs and protocol-breaking dark nail polish her way of trying to send a message?

Jennifer Aniston said that when she first moved to Los Angeles, she lived in a haunted house with a ghost that hated her roommate. This sounds like a better premise than Friends…

-The Oscars might move ahead with no host — because clearly NO WOMEN EXIST!

-In completely unrelated news, the crowd who attended Amy Poehler‘s Smart Girls anniversary dinner was amazing.

-If the final season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend doesn’t make my top 10 list this year, it’s going to come really, really close. This gag reel is also a delight.

-To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Kissing Booth were Netflix’s most-rewatched original movies this year. I only contributed 27% of that.

-The reviews are in for Aquaman, and critics seem to think it’s a bit of an overlong mess, but a really delightful, fun mess. Huh.

-Speaking of DC movies, Chris Messina playing a villain in the upcoming Birds of Prey is good casting.

-I don’t watch The Voice but man, people are pressed about Adam Levine.

-Taylor Swift attended her boyfriend’s movie premiere, but kept it on the DL.

Elisabeth Moss struggles to get over her split from her girlfriend in Brandi Carlile’s new music video.

-I really like this take on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Everyone raves about that show, but I didn’t make it through the first season. It felt like it was leaning into all of the worst things about the Gilmore Girls.

Jameela Jamil is still on the detox tea thing? I mean, ok I guess but this seems like low-hanging fruit.

Nicki Minaj might have a new boyfriend — and her fans aren’t impressed.

-Is there a better late night guest than John Mulaney? I could listen to him tell stories about dragging Pete Davidson to Steely Dan concerts all day…

-Here’s the new trailer for True Detective season 3. Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff are trying to drag me back into this, but I need to stay strong!

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson Tease Men In Black

-All of the photos Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are teasing from the Men in Black reboot are getting me hyped.

-There’s been lots of talk in the wake of #MeToo about how terribly Megan Fox has been treated. When asked by the NYT if she thinks she’s owed an apology she said “I mean, that’s a lovely sentiment, and I appreciate that” before adding that she has no plans to tell her stories.

-Whoa nelly. Walking Dead co-creator Frank Darabont‘s $280M suit against AMC is going to trial. This should get messy.

Hannah Gadsby and Roxane Gay sat down together to talk about body image, trolls and more.

-In an interview with Extra, Diane Kruger revealed that she and Norman Reedus had a baby girl.

Sophia Bush says her One Tree Hill producers were “inappropriate” in the wake of her split from costar Chad Michael Murray. I remember the writers making their characters hook up right after they got divorced, which always seemed like the height of cruelty.

-Here’s the first trailer for the CW’s Roswell reboot. Man, I want this to not suck.

Tyler Perry surprised holiday shoppers by buying out the entire layaway department at two Walmarts, which is all kinds of great.

Offset is reportedly desperate to get Cardi B back, but feels he’s being blocked by “haters.” (It’s the haters’ fault and not the cheating rumours? Huh.)

-Variety reports Rami Malek is currently “being eyed” to play the next Bond villain, which I don’t hate.

-This Brooklyn Nine-Nine promo looks more expensive than an entire episode. Get that NBC money!

Nicolas Cage’s master class sounds like it was a trip.

-I kind of love what Hailee Steinfeld wore to the Bumblebee premiere. It’s over-the-top which is perfect for that film.

-I can’t really wrap my head around this new, jovial, happy-to-do-promo Jake Gyllenhaal.

-The new Once Upon a Deadpool trailer is a defense of Nickelback — which is a bold choice.

-The new Brightburn trailer is like a horror version of a Superman movie, and from what I saw on Twitter this weekend people have OPINIONS!

-The Disney Channel has released a full trailer for their live-action Kim Possible movie.

-Meet Ellen Page‘s weird superhero team in the trailer for Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy.

Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal attempt to rob one of the world’s most violent cartels in Netflix’s Triple Frontier trailer.
