–Miley Cyrus shut down pregnancy rumours with an ode to the record-breaking egg.

-Celebs can’t get enough of the 10 Year Challenge, but Mariah Carey wins it all with her caption: “time is not something I acknowledge. 🤷‍♀”

–Cardi B posted an IG video on the government shutdown: “I feel like we need to take some action. I don’t know what type of action, bitch, because that’s not what I do. But, bitch, I’m scared.” Chris Evans was loving it.

–Rihanna is reportedly teaming up with the luxury brand LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton to launch her own fashion house.

–Joe Alwyn has no plans to talk about his relationship with Taylor Swift in the press: “I don’t think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I? And then that is defined as being ‘strangely private.’ Fine. But I don’t think it is. I think it’s normal.”

–Kevin McKidd recounted his ‘tearful’ post-Golden Globes reunion with former Grey’s Anatomy co-star Sandra Oh: “We hugged for a long, long time.”

–Louis C.K. hit the stage again and continued to double down on masturbation jokes, telling the crowd: “I like to jerk off, and I don’t like to be alone.” So, that’s swell.

-A small business owner blasted Goop for the way they treated her after asked if they could sell her tarot cards on their site — and then stopped paying her.

–Goldie Hawn revealed that she got a little TOO close for comfort during Kate Hudson’s recent birthing experience, prompting the doctor to say “Goldie, if you get any closer, you’re going to fall in!”

-I like this piece on performers that should get an Oscar nod on Tuesday morning but probably won’t. Brian Tyree Henry was only in If Beale Street Could Talk for 5 minutes, but I really want him to Judi Dench this thing.

–Ernie Hudson says the original Ghostbusters cast is “in” for Jason Reitman‘s sequel.

-Netflix is claiming that it’s “revealing” the viewership for shows like You, Sex Education and more, but this is all kinds of shady.  They say Sex Education is on pace to be watched by 40 million member households within its first month — but it’s only been airing for 12 days.

-Meanwhile, I just started watching Sex Education and it’s a delight.

–Ryan Reynolds‘ birthday tweet to Betty White is very adorable.

-Ohh, I had no idea that The Kid Who Would Be King is from the director who did Attack the Block. Now I’m intrigued!

–Keanu Reeves has a price on his head in the John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum trailer. They had me at samurai swords on motorcycles.

Sophie Turner Talks Engagement to Joe Jonas

-Marie Claire’s 2018 Fresh Faces covers feature Issa Rae, Riley Keough, Sophie Turner, Yara Shahidi and Katherine Langford. (I want all of their lipsticks. ) In her interview, Turner opens up about how her engagement to Joe Jonas has been treated like some sort of accomplishment. “It’s lovely to be engaged. Not like I achieved anything, but I found my person, like I’d find a house that I love and want to stay in forever. There’s a sense of peace that comes with finding your person. But there’s a drive that comes with your career.”

–Tristan Thompson has reportedly been cheating on Khloe Kardashian since November, according to Us Magazine.

-Meanwhile, Wendy Williams felt the need to get some stuff off her chest: “The only person I feel bad for is the baby. I don’t feel bad for Khloe. Khloe, you knew when you pulled up on him that he had a girlfriend named Jordy Craig and Jordy was 5 months pregnant.”

–George Clooney is reducing his role in Hulu’s Catch 22 to focus more on directing and producing. But it’s not all bad news –Kyle Chandler will take over the starring role in the six-episode miniseries.

–Will Ferrell was hospitalized after a car side-swiped the SUV he was riding in and caused it to flip over. He was released from the hospital and didn’t suffer any significant injury.

–Britney Spears showed up at the GLAAD Media Awards and “everybody lost their minds.”

-I’m weirdly pumped to watch Christina Aguilera‘s Carpool Karaoke segment.

-I tried to watch On My Block because critics are loving it, but couldn’t get into it. Still, I’m super happy that Netflix renewed it for a second season.

–Kanye West is writing a book on society’s obsession with photographs. Kay.

-After their totally terrible response in last week’s episode, The Simpsons showrunner vows to find the “right” answer to the Apu controversy. A little late, no?

–Lily James says she cried when she met Meryl Streep: “It was like, ‘Hold it together, Lily!’ It was too much.”

-This chart that determines how a male author would describe you is perfection.

–Taylor Swift covered Earth, Wind, & Fire’s soul classic “September” and I love that everyone on my Twitter TL made the “Oh hell no, Karen. Keep your bland ass potato salad to yourself” joke…

-Meanwhile, Cardi B just beat Taylor’s Apple streaming record — by doubling it.

-I’m going to NYC this weekend but hope to catch some of the Youtube Coachella stream.  Since I don’t go anymore, “Couch”ella has been a good time the last couple of years.

-All eyes are on Elastigirl in the new trailer for The Incredibles 2.

–Nick Offerman and Kiersey Clemons are a father-daughter singing duo in the Heart Beats Loud trailer. The Sundance hit also costars Ted Danson and Toni Collette and looks adorable.

 

Khloe Kardashian Gives Birth to Baby Girl

–Khloe Kardashian has welcomed a baby girl. Cheating cheatface Tristan Thompson was reportedly at the birth, but People reports that Khole plans to move back to L.A. as soon as she physically can.

-Meanwhile, a source close to KUWTK told Buzzfeed that the show has not been filming this week’s drama because they haven’t started production on the season yet.

-In other baby news, did Prince William just reveal that they’re expecting a boy?

-I didn’t read Cardi B‘s GQ interview  right away because a Caity Weaver piece deserves to be savored. She once again proved she’s the best feature writer in the biz with this thoughtful, non-judgemental profile, which covers the singer’s stripper past, illegal butt injections, and her love of political trivia.

-Meanwhile Cardi has denied rumours of a feud with Nicki Minaj, but Nicki now says it was real for a while.

-Variety’s Power of Women New York issue features Tina Fey, Alicia Keys, Emily Blunt, Tarana Burke and Margaret Atwood. All of the interviews are great but I especially liked Fey’s.  (“In comedy rooms, women are treated like expensive cappuccino machines. It’s like, ‘We have one. Why would we have two?'”)

–Mindy Kaling and Emma Thompson are here to remind us of the power of eye masks.

–Eve remembered the time Janet Jackson  took care of her after someone drugged her drink at an awards show afterparty.

–Kerry Washington proved her mad lib skills on Fallon.

-The first trailer for Pose is here and I am here for it! James Van Der Beek and Kate Mara  star in Ryan Murphy‘s LGBTQ-themed dance-musical set in New York City in the 1980s. The FX show features the largest-ever cast of transgender actors in a scripted series.

–Martin Scorsese is set to direct an SCTV reunion documentary for Netflix.

–Julianna Margulies‘ wig is wigging me out in these Dietland photos. I get that she seems to have something in her contract where she’ll only wear wigs, but good lord, can they not find ones that look good?! This is somehow worse that the ones from The Good Wife.

–Cameron Diaz has reportedly arranged a private jet to fly a dozen of Gwyneth Paltrow‘s friends to Mexico this weekend to celebrate her upcoming wedding.

-Shameless/Roseanne star Emma Kenney says she is seeking treatment for “her battles.”

-Fresh Off the Boat star Randall Park has joined the cast of Aquaman — even though the movie has already been shot and is in “pick ups” phase. That’s a not great sign.

-This preview clip of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which has Jake singing “I Want It That Way”with a bunch of suspects, made me laugh and laugh.

–Rebel Wilson has been awarded more than $1.1. million in legal reimbursement on top of the $4.5 million from her defamation case.

-Dear lord, Katie Cassidy  is claiming she once turned down Prince Harry. Oh hon, no.

–Dwayne Johnson gets it. We don’t deserve him.

-Everything old is new again. Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt just closed deals for a Mad About You revival.

-It’s been a big day in TV critics news. Maureen Ryan  is leaving Variety, and Andy Greenwald is creating a TV show with Mr Robot’s Sam Esmail.

–Sandra Bullock and her friends assemble to rob Anne Hathaway at the MET Gala in the new Oceans 8 trailer. Not gonna lie, I fist-pumped at least twice watching this.
