Emily Ratajkowski Announces Pregnancy Through Vogue

–Emily Ratajkowski revealed that she’s pregnant via Vogue’s Digital Issue Cover. There’s also an accompanying short video directed by Lena Dunham, which Dunham calls the “opposite of a People magazine baby announcement.”

-Speaking of Vogue, a new NYT report accused Anna Wintour of cultivating a toxic climate that has “sidelined and tokenized women of color, especially Black women” at the magazine.

–Dominic West and Lily James‘ romantic jaunt around Rome didn’t just get them in the gossip spotlight; it might also get them fined because you’re not supposed to ride scooters together in covid.

–Drake celebrated his 34th birthday over the weekend, and people are disgusted that he served a mac ‘n cheese that included raisins and capers.

-It’s been a big day for the moon! NASA announced there’s more water on the moon than previously thought, and Oscar Isaac is in negotiations to star as Moon Night in Marvel’s forthcoming Disney+ series. He was previously pretty adamant about not playing Poe on a Disney+ series, but that was before covid killed movies (not to mention this new project keeps him far away from the Star Wards fandom).

-Comedian Eric Andre talked about Ellen Degeneres being “cancelled” for being mean. “James Corden is fucked if that’s the only criteria to get called out. James Corden and Lorne Michaels are screwed! They’re trembling in their fucking boots.”

–Bette Midler said that she, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy would all be down for a Hocus Pocus sequel. Please Hollywood, we ask for so little!

–Midler, Parker and Najimy also shot a cute voting PSA, complete with spell chanting.

-I love when celebs don’t know the difference between replies and DMs.

–Nicole Kidman is pulling double duty for HBO. Not only does she star in the new limited series The Undoing, she also sings its theme song.

–Drew Barrymore tearfully opened up on her divorce from Will Kopelman during an interview with the Today Show, saying “I couldn’t make sense of it. I really did not take divorce well. I took it really hard…I know from not growing up with any family whatsoever that that was the last thing that I wanted to do for my daughters. It was, like, ugh the ultimate promise I wanted to make with you and for you was to have this amazing family and I found that and there’s something not working, that isn’t livable. How tragic is that?”

–Octavia Spencer says her favourite birthday message this year came from Keanu Reeves, who once helped her when her car broke down on the way to an audition.

-The former DJ on Wendy Williams‘ show jumped in to comment when people were posting that she seemed distracted on Friday’s episode, saying “Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs.. this is going to play out bad.. I feel sorry for the workers and victims.”

-Today, Williams seemed to address Friday’s weirdness, saying “I appreciate you watching, but even after all of these years, it’s still work. An effort put in for the hour I’m out here, you know? I guess every day is not perfect, but I’m not a perfectionist. I’m not perfect.”

–Hugh Grant says he’d do a Notting Hill sequel because “I would like to do a sequel to one of my own romantic comedies that shows what happened after those films ended. Really, to prove the terrible lie that they all were, that it was a happy ending.” Look man, life has been rough this year. Just let us keep this one little thing.

-I don’t watch The Bachelorette, but Clare Crawley has been liking tweets about the show’s producers forcing her to leave.

-Netflix released the full trailer for Selena: The Series, coming in December.

–Scarlett Johansson covers EW to promote Black Widow. She talks about only having met Florence Pugh a few times before they filmed their first scene together (“Immediately we were in each other’s space, like, ‘All right, I’m going to grab your armpit, and you put your hand under my knee in a pretzel'”) and why she didn’t want the movie to just be “like Bourne, but with a woman” (“I hope that this film continues pushing that boundary, so that we can actually have more female superheroes who are inherently female, and aren’t just Batman in heels or whatever”).

-The Hollywood Reporter just released their stars and their stylists issue, which I always adore.

-Wow. Harvey Weinstein just got 23 years in jail, which is close to the maximum possible sentence, if his terms were run consecutively, of 29 years. The judge said “This is your first conviction, but not your first offense.”

-Meanwhile, before sentencing he said in the courtroom “I am totally confused. I think men are confused about these issues. Thousands of men are losing due process. I’m worried about this country.” It’s pretty ballsy to complain about a lack of due process — when you’ve just been afforded it.

–Jenna Dewan gave birth to baby No. 2, a boy she named Callum Michael Rebel Kazee.

–Wendy Williams called out Nicki Minaj for marrying Kenneth Petty, who registered as a sex offender this week following a 1995 conviction for first-degree attempted rape. “You should’ve never married him because now you’ve ruined everything about what your brand could be.”

–Dakota Johnson‘s gives Architectural Digest a peek inside her home and I kind of love it.

-This video of today’s daytime talk shows with no audiences due to covid-19 is very eerie.

–Naomi Campbell showed up to a flight from LA to NYC on Tuesday clad in a full hazmat suit, surgical mask and latex gloves included. Look, I had to self-isolate today due to this damn virus and even I think this is irresponsible and panic-inducing.

-Westworld is trying to make it seem like its truly reinvented itself for season 3, but in the end it seems like it’s just more of the same.

–Jon Bernthal is set to star in an American Gigolo TV reboot at Showtime and wow, do I love that casting!

-Speaking of shows I want in my eyeballs immediately, Scott Foley has been cast to headline a dramedy about the ballet.

–Brad Pitt is coming to HGTV for Celebrity IOU With Drew and Jonathan Scott. Each episode will feature a star getting hands-on with the brothers to imagine a design plan to reward their mentors, friends or family member.

-The Ellen Show got the three Love Is Blind couples together for a game of Never Have I Ever.

-Meanwhile, I’m kind of shocked that Gwyneth Paltrow watched Love Is Blind.

–John Krasinski says he and Ryan Reynolds “turned into 14-year-old boys” when they got to meet a surprisingly friendly owl at Reynolds’ daughter’s birthday party.

–Colin Firth and Julie Walters star in a new adaptation of The Secret Garden.

Tom Holland’s Got Moves

–Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello stepped out for a very paparazzi-friendly brunch this weekend. Hmmm. (They were also spotted away from the paps enjoying a late-night snuggle, so either they’re legit or they’re very committed to selling it.)

–Sarah Jessica Parker says she once reported the inappropriate behavior of a male costar (a “very big movie star”) to her agent. Luckily, her agent didn’t ignore her. “Within hours everything had changed. He said to them, ‘If this continues, I have sent her a ticket, a one-way ticket out of this city and she will not be returning.'”

-This is an interesting look at why stars have no interest in hosting award shows anymore.

-I love that Princess Diana‘s sisters, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes, were a big part of Archie’s christening.

-A co-star alleged actor Kip Pardue, who plays one of the dads in Marvel’s Runaways, masturbated without consent in front of her. SAG imposed a $6,000 fine, did not release the information to the industry and gave him the option of reducing the fine by 50% if he takes an online training course.

–Wendy Williams returned to her talk show and denied romantic involvement with 27-year-old Marc Tomblin, who she was photographed in June. She also talked about her recent “plant-based lunch” with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Kris Jenner, and apologized for bailing on a dinner with Dr. Oz.

-Radiohead’s Thom Yorke stans Billie Eilish. He’s no fan of Sam Smith or Muse, tho.

–Ryan Reynolds is joining Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in Red Notice, an art heist movie which is moving from Universal to Netflix.  It’ll be Neflix’s most expensive movie to date.

-I really enjoyed the new season of Stranger Things — but I don’t believe for a second that that ending will stick.

-Also, Robin is an great new addition to the show. Ethan Hawke (the actress’ dad) is so proud on Instagram.

-Jaden Smith launched a pop up vegan food truck to serve the homeless.

–Terry Crews is campaigning hard to play King Triton in the Little Mermaid live action adaptation, and I don’t hate it.

-A writer revealed that in 2002 she wrote a profile of Jeffrey Epstein for Vanity Fair that included a mother and her two daughters talking about his inappropriate interest in underage girls, but Graydon Carter cut that from the story. This guy had a ton of people in high places protecting him. Now that he’s locked up, everyone’s wondering if there’s going to be any blowback on his famous friends, who include Trump, Kevin Spacey, Bill Clinton, Chris Tucker and Prince Andrew. The fallout from this one might be huge.

–Renee Zellweger channels Judy Garland in the first full trailer for Judy, which feels less like a movie and more like a “for your consideration” reel.

–Angelina Jolie is back to being a baddie in the Maleficent 2 trailer.
