Billy Is Back on the Street

Paul Rudd helped Billy Eichner promote Bros with a new Billy on the Street segment. “I’m sorry I’m not Florence Pugh” slayed me.

-I’m actually kind of surprised by Adam Levine‘s statement. The original accusation seemed a little weak (just a screenshot of supposed IG DMs), so I assumed he’d flat-out deny it. Instead, he denied cheating on Behati Prinsloo, his pregnant wife of eight years, but admits he “crossed a line.” In an IG story, he posted: “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.” So wait — does this mean he’s been sliding into women’s DMs using his official IG handle?! Ohhh boy.

-Meanwhile,  Sumner Stroh, the Instagram model who says they had an affair, posted another video, saying she only went public because a tabloid asked her for comment yesterday and she wanted to get ahead of the story. She also said, “I was under the impression that they’re marriage was over. I believe that they were keeping it quiet to avoid the negative press” and “I fully realize I’m not the victim in this. I’m not the one who’s really getting hurt here, it’s Behati and her children and for that I’m so, so sorry.”

-Not surprisingly, Prinsloo is reportedly “very upset.”

-Serial dropped a new episode about Adnan Syed‘s release. I’m very curious who the two alternate suspects are.

Brooke Shields, Juliette Lewis, Chelsea Handler, Cassie, Becky G and Indya Moore are part of the new Skims campaign.

John Oliver says it’s “pretty shitty” he got censored in the U.K. for saying the Queen’s death from natural causes at 96 was “shocking.” “It’s literally not a joke. Scientifically, it’s not a joke. That’s just a fact with a kind of dick-ish inflection.”

-I saw Don’t Worry Darling last night and it wasn’t great but it wasn’t as bad as people are saying. There was a live cast Q&A zoomed in from the NYC premiere, and Harry Styles was so hilariously terrible at answering questions. Like, he even got a softball one about music and he could barely stumble through it.

-It’s actually predicted to have a good box office weekend, because any publicity is good publicity.

-Abbott Elementary’s Sheryl Lee Ralph has a famous fan.

-NBC announced it will indeed bring the Golden Globes ceremony back to its airwaves one more time in January after keeping it off the air this year in the aftermath of a scathing Los Angeles Times exposé about the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s racism.

-Industry wrapped up season two last night and I don’t feel like enough people are talking about it? It was so, so good.

Miles Teller, Brendan Gleeson, and Megan Thee Stallion will host the first three episodes of SNL’s season 48.

-Meanwhile, another longterm cast member has announced his exit: Chris Redd.

-Ads are coming to Netflix soon. Here’s a look at what it could mean for streaming.

-Here’s the first teaser for the upcoming documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, coming to Apple TV.

-Netflix unveiled it’s first trailer for Mike Flanagan‘s latest series, The Midnight Club, based on a Christopher Pike novel. I don’t know if I ever actually finished his Haunting of Bly Manor, but I devoured Midnight Mass.
