-It’s finally happened:Ā Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani got marriedĀ on Saturday in a small ceremony at his ranch.

-The biggest news to hit before the weekend was Zendaya and Tom Holland photographed kissing in a car. Part of me thinks the is a PR move (the new Spider-Man trailer is expected to drop any day now). A bigger part of me is too squealy over these photos to care.

Not a lot of huge shockers (beyond the fact that she called 911 the night before her testimony last month), but it’s a very good view into how some of those around her who initially acted with good intentions are horrified by how much it’s spiraled out of control.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended their first public engagement together today since their royal exit announcement and they were glowing.Ā They attended the Endeavour Fund Awards, which honours military personnel and veterans, and were witness to a surprise proposal.

Katy Perry announced her pregnancy via the new music video for her song “Never Worn White,” which ends with her pulling a Beyonce and cradling her belly.

-Little Brown published Ronan Farrowā€™s Catch and Kill book and today its staff walked out to protest the fact that parent company Hachette is publishing Woody Allenā€™s book.

-Oof, what is going on with the CW and how they’re parting ways with their leading men? It was kind of a weird last day.”

This review of the new seasons of Better things points out one of my favourite things about the show:Ā Sam’s ability to instantly make friends with strangers. I think I fell in love with the show in season two when she hopped in a golf cart at a resort, and then it cut to the next scene of her getting out of the golf cart while giving the driver a hug and congratulating him on his new grandchild.

-Due to the coronavirus, the release of the new James Bond movie No Time to Die, which was supposed to hit theatres next month, will be postponed until November.

Ronan Farrow said on Tuesday that he would cut ties with his publisher, Hachette Book Group, after they hid from him that they were publishing Woody Allenā€™s autobiography next month: “It’s wildly unprofessional in multiple obvious directions for Hachette to behave this way. But it also shows a lack of ethics and compassion for victims.” Did they think that the world’s leading investigative journalist wasn’t going to figure it out?

-Meanwhile, on Kimmel last nightĀ Affleck choked up when explaining how Adam Driver saved his son’s birthday. When the birthday present for his Star Wars obsessed 8-year-old didn’t arrive in time, Driver, Affleck’s costar in The Last Duel, sent a big pile of Kylo Ren merch and signed stuff. “Adam made me a hero to my kid, and I will never, ever, ever forget it.”

-Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, which starsĀ Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington as clashing mothers, is getting good reviews. I was going to watch it anyway because of Joshua Jackson, but that’s nice.

-Meanwhile, Us Weekly has a story about how Joshua Jackson was ā€œheartbrokenā€ over the end of his decade-long relationship with Diane Kruger before meeting his now-wife, Jodie Turner-Smith. If he’s feeling any residual sadness, I’m available for hugs.
