Salma Hayek’s Owl Puked on Harry Styles

Salma Hayek says her pet owl once vomited a ‘ball of rat hair’ on Harry Styles. He was “super cool” about it.

-An American Gigolo reboot series has been ordered by Showtime starring Jon Bernthal. Oh, yes please!

Zoë Kravitz will direct and Channing Tatum will star in a new thriller called Pussy Island. In the interview about the movie, their exchange about Crocs is hilarious: “When someone can just come out and tell me I should not be wearing Crocs, and is so adamant about it, she completely convinced me and I never wear Crocs anymore,” Tatum said. “I was just trying to be a good friend, Chan,” she said. “I get it, but I totally loved Crocs for a hot second, and in one hang she was like, you can’t ever do that again. And I said, ‘OK, fine.’

Harvey Weinstein will be extradited to Los Angeles to stand trial for sex crime charges.

-So Kevin Hart is blaming “cancel culture” for making him feel censored. “You’re thinking that things you say will come back and bite you on the ass. I can’t be the comic today that I was when I got into this.” I guess that’s one way to make headlines when you have a new project coming out this week…

-Just after Chrissy Teigen dipped her toe back into the public arena following her bullying controversy, Project Runway contestant Michael Costello claimed she DM’d him messages like “racist people like you deserve to suffer and die.”

-There’s rumours that Brad Pitt is dating Lykke Li. I’m into it.

-On the first Late Show back with a full audience, Jon Stewart went ALL IN on the conspiracy theory that covid was leaked by a Wuhan lab (even when Colbert seemed to be trying to reign him in). Which may very well turn out to be true, but whew, this came off a bit anti-science.

-Cruel Summer (which I really liked) has been renewed for a second season. I had no idea that it’s produced by Jessica Biel.

Lin-Manuel Miranda directs and Andrew Garfield stars in the Netflix film adaptation of the late Jonathan Larson‘s autobiographical musical Tick Tick Boom. It’s about the making of Rent so I’m allllll in.
