-I can’t imagine how annoying it is to be famous and have people hassle you when you’re out at a bar. On the other hand, I can’t imagine responding to said people by choking them. This is not the type of scandal you want to get caught in when your character is gearing up to headline their own DC superhero movie.

-Speaking of TV events, Lady Gaga will curate the historic global broadcast special, which will feature exclusive appearances by Alanis Morissette, Billie Eilish, Chris Martin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves and more.  Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert will host the event, which broadcasts live across ABC, CBS and NBC, as well as being streamed online, on April 18. It’s not a telethon or fundraiser; it’s just meant to entertain and convey messages of solidarity.

-Speaking of Lady Gaga, in a WHO press conference, she said she had helped to raise $35M for Global Citizen in the past week.

-Meanwhile, Elton John is donating $1 million to help people with HIV and AIDS during the coronavirus pandemic.

-Netflix is claiming that it’s “revealing” the viewership for shows like You, Sex Education and more, but this is all kinds of shady.  They say Sex Education is on pace to be watched by 40 million member households within its first month — but it’s only been airing for 12 days.

-Meanwhile, I just started watching Sex Education and it’s a delight.

-Meanwhile, I really liked Andy Richter‘s thread on Louis C.K. and his new comedic formula, as well as this take on how he’s trying to recast himself as a victim of political correctness.

-The rumoured 90201 “reboot” is not actually a reboot or revival after all. As it’s currently being shopped around, it’s actually an hour-long mockumentary-style dramedy that would find former 90210 cast members Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris playing themselves which — maybe let’s just not?

-This is an interesting look at how Tom Cruise‘s wedding to Katie Holmes changed how people view Scientology.

-The reviews for True Detective season three are in — and they’re actually pretty good? Lots of critics are calling it a return to form after the terrible last season, and everyone is praising Mahershala Ali‘s performance.
