–Kristen Bell is a chronic over-sharer (seriously, we know a LOT about her marriage) but one thing she says she won’t share is her kids’ faces. In the new issue of Romper, she says “My feeling is that I chose a career in the public eye. I chose to be quoted, I chose to have my picture taken. I don’t know them yet. I don’t know if they will want that. So I really don’t have the right to choose for them.”

–Leonardo DiCaprio took his dad bod to the beach.

–Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are burying the fake hatchet for charity.

–Jonathan Rhys Meyers is back in the news, and once again it’s for not-great reasons: he was arrested and charged with a DUI on Sunday.

-Beyoncé just announced a multi-year partnership with Peloton to produce exclusive fitness content. As if I didn’t want one of these things already…

–Sebastian Stan spent the first part of the pandemic bitching on social about people who were travelling, but now it seems like all he does is go on exotic vacations? In any case, his latest jaunt to Mexico featured cozy times with Alejandra Onieva.

-I find it sooooo weird that Brian Austin Green has Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth caping for his parenting skills.

-There are new photos of Dominic West and his wife going for a run. Well then, I’m convinced everything’s fine now!

-The TV gods giveth (Netflix renewed The Umbrella Academy) and the TV gods taketh away (HBO cancelled The Outsiders).

–Salma Hayek did a supercut of all the times she’s gotten a covid test and I couldn’t get past the first 4 seconds.

-Just when you thought Phil Collins’ divorce proceedings couldn’t get uglier comes accusations from his ex of impotence and neglecting to bathe or brush his teeth for months.

-The Grey’s Anatomy showrunner very politely implied that Justin Chambers‘ exit screwed up her endgame plans, but won’t discuss details of his incredibly abrupt departure. “It’s just not my story to tell.”

–Zach Braff, who’s 45, talked about his girlfriend Florence Pugh, who’s 24, and why he hasn’t discussed their age difference since she posted this video addressing the criticism of their relationship on Instagram. “She literally sat down, hit record on her phone and said that. I thought: how could I possibly follow anything as intelligent and articulate as that? So, I chose not to.”

-SNL had just 85 minutes to recreate Kamala Harris’ white pantsuit for Maya Rudolph to wear before the show went live.

–Mads Mikkelsen is in early talks to replace Johnny Depp in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. What an upgrade!

-I’m really bummed that Robbie Amell had to drop out of The Hating Game. It is my FAVOURITE romcom (seriously, if you haven’t read it yet go fix your life) and he would have made a great Josh.

-This is a good overview of what’s going on in the movie industry, and why consumers now expecting a seamless shift of blockbusters from the big screen to their homes are about to get a rude awakening.

-The reviews for Netflix’s Hillbilly Elegy are hilariously negative. (Hilarious because the Oscar-baiting poverty porn trailer looked so, so bad.)

-Meanwhile, Netflix’s holiday romcom series Dash & Lily is debuting this week to good reviews.

-Spy costars Melissa McCarthy and Bobby Cannavale reunite for the Superintelligence trailer. This time he’s playing her love interest, which I *adore*.

–Taylor Swift is on the cover of the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar — but she’s not interviewed. Instead, the suddenly press-shy pop star is the one asking the questions, interviewing musical muse Pattie Boyd. This is a pretty brilliant way of staying in the spotlight without having to answer any personal questions.

–George Clooney was injured today after his scooter was hit by a car on the Italian island of Sardinia. (He has already been released from the hospital.) Clooney was driving 60 mph when he was thrown from his bike and traveled 20 feet in the air before hitting a car’s windshield; his helmet shattered on impact. PROTECT HIS FACE!

-The fact that Dwayne Johnson has fully embraced the fact that the internet calls him “Daddy” makes me very happy.

–Justin Bieber posted a very long, very gushy Instagram post about getting engaged to Hailey Baldwin. “The thing I am most excited for is that my little brother and sister get to see another healthy stable marriage and look for the same!!!..My goodness does feel good to have our future secured!” Sure thing, bud.

-Meanwhile, Baldwin joked that she doesn’t want him to regrow his moustache for the wedding, which makes me like her.

-I missed almost all of these hidden words in the Sharper Objects premiere. Also, I’m really glad I’m not the only one who had to watch it with closed captioning on. Speak up, y’all!

–Jonathan Rhys Meyers was briefly detained at LAX following an alleged verbal altercation with his wife on an American Airlines flight. His wife has since posted an apology on Instagram. “Eight months of sobriety and an unfortunate day of airline travel. We were in South America specifically working holistically through anger issues that result in these kinds of episodes. When in it…he is not in a frame of mind where he can really even comprehend the repercussions and necessary response to his own actions.”

-Who the hell wants to drink Handmaid’s Tale wine? Not everything needs a product tie-in, Hollywood.

-Maybe Rihanna and Hassan Jameel are fighting in these photos. Maybe she’s just animatedly telling him about the plot of Killing Eve. It’s hard to say (but the internet is say it anyway.)

–Rosario Dawson, who fielded a lot of broadcast pilot offers, has signed on to star in USA Network’s Briarpatch from Mr Robot’s Sam Esmail and podcaster Andy Greenwald. I’ve been listening to Greewald since his Grantland days and even though I don’t know him, I’m weirdly proud of him for this. “Great job, Baranski!”

–Chris Evans continues to win Twitter (this time with an assist from Billy Eichner).

-Thanks to the success of comedy specials from the likes of Hannah Gadsby and Ali Wong, Netflix is preparing to debut a ridiculous amount of stand up shows in 2019.

-Speaking of Hannah Gadsby, I just discovered her art history series on YouTube. She’s the best!

–Tyler Perry surprised Tiffany Haddish with a new Telsa because she kept talking about getting one, but then wouldn’t do it. He told her “what I’ve learned is that it’s OK to spend a little bit.”

-Everything about Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman‘s new craft show seems adorable, including this promo clip in which they have a craft-themed pun-off.

-Now Nick Cannon has chimed into the Kevin Hart vs Mike Epps feud.

-Pretty much everyone who was part of Step Brothers came together for this oral history on the movie.

–Roseanne Barr says she dropped out of a tell-all TV special and will now interview herself on YouTube.  (It’s unclear whether she ever had an interview booked with any TV network in the first place.)

-Apple continues to sink money into their upcoming TV offering, getting Jason Momoa to star in its futuristic drama See.

–Billy Dee Williams is returning for Star Wars Episode IX as OG Lando Calrissian.

–André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn star in Hulu’s new Castle Rock, produced by J.J. Abrams and Steven King. This trailer is incredibly creepy.

-This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman‘s next tear-jerking project is Life Itself, a multi-generational drama that sees Olivia Wilde and Oscar Isaac falling in love. It also stars Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening and Mandy Patinkin.

–Victoria Beckham finally made the cover of Vogue (well, Paris Vogue, anyway).

-I don’t know what I love more about this story: that Kristen Bell bought a secondhand bed off of Craigslist, or that she enlisted her VM costar Ryan Hansen to help her schlep it home.

-Speaking of Veronica Mars, my Kickstarter reward t-shirt has arrived!

–Kellan Lutz claims he turned down the Edward role in Twilight. Sure thing, buddy.

-I enjoyed Derek Hough and Maria Menounos‘ Thanksgiving dance war videos much more than I probably should have. Even Amber Riley and her fam jumped into the fray.

–Lady Gaga‘s Muppet Thanksgiving special was a turkey in the ratings. Maybe they should have advertised that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was going to be in it.

–Kanye West spent 6 minutes during his Nashville concert venting about Nike, ’cause that’s really what his fans want.

–Kanye also stood up for President Obama, saying “black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people [or] oil people.” I’m guessing Obama would prefer he sat down at this point…

-The idea of Elizabeth Taylor watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer makes me stupidly happy.

–Justin Bieber drew crappy graffiti on another building, but this time, the building owners love it and are calling it “art.”

-I really liked this article on how Homeland is both the smartest and dumbest cable drama ever.

–Doug Ford says the family has received calls from Oprah about a potential reality show, but they’ve decided not to do it (yay!). They’ve opted to do a web series instead (boo!).

-Netflix Canada just announced that they’ll start streaming Friday Night Lights. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose!

-Yikes, Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Just…yikes.

–Ed Sheeran celebrated Thanksgiving with Jennifer Aniston, for some reason.

-Don’t invite Morrissey to your next Thanksgiving dinner. He won’t want to go.

–Mariah Carey shared more photos of her family’s Thanksgiving celebrations.

–Leonardo DiCaprio‘s new movie The Wolf of Wall Street is three hours long? Nope, no, nada!

-I scored 60 on the Rory Gilmore reading challenge, and it still made me feel like an idiot.

–The Walkmen just announced their decision to go on an “extreme hiatus.”

–Kate Mara and Anton Yelchin star in Broken Bells’s new video for “Holding On For Life” (a song I’m LOVING this week — I wish it were actually featured in the music video).
