Robert Downey Jr. Makes a Little Boy’s Day

-A 10-year-old boy with autism who became verbal after getting an Iron Man helmet got to meet Robert Downey Jr. This is all incredibly sweet.

Beyoncé’s IVY Park x adidas fashion collection is about to drop online – and I’m loving how she recruited celebs to help spread the word. (I am NOT loving how I am officially too old to pull off anything from this collection.)

-People is reporting that Prince Harry will remain in the U.K. for meetings, prolonging his return to Canada.

-I don’t watch Mindhunter but every TV critic I follow seems to love it. It’s probably not a good sign that Netflix released all the actors from their contracts. (If they decide to continue with the show, does that me renegotiating contracts? Cause that seems shady af.)

January Jones confirms she dated Bachelor alum Nick Viall after he slid into her DMs.

-NBC unveiled their new streaming platform Peacock. It’ll have a library of NBC shows and Universal movies, as well as new projects from Norman Lear, Amy Poehler, Will Forte and Mindy Kaling,

-I finally caught up on the CW superhero crossover and it was a convoluted, emotionally empty mess — but this cameo was insane.

-I really like this piece on the inception ending of Little Women. (There’s a debate if the end scenes can be interpreted as representing the ending of the book Jo wrote rather than the life she went on to lead.)

-Um, these Zoe Kazan comments are really something.

-They may have broken up, but Jessie J was spotted hanging out with Channing Tatum and his daughter.

-Here’s the trailer for romance drama Olympic Dreams starring Nick Kroll — the first ever feature film shot in an Olympic village. I listened to Kroll talk about its production and it sounded really cool (they shot it during the 2018 Winter Olympics).

The Lovebirds trailer has Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani playing a couple who are framed for a murder and decided to try to find the real killer. Oh, I’m gonna watch this one A LOT.

Sebastian Stan Gives Us An Early Xmas Present

-I didn’t really get the Sebastian Stan stans until I saw him this fall at TIFF in a movie in which Shailene Woodley‘s character can’t decide between his character or Jamie Dornan‘s so she dates them both (aka – living the dream) and he was adorably swoon-worthy during the Q&A. This Men’s Health photo spread (and the charming interview that accompanies it) is making me like him even more.

Channing Tatum and Jessie J reportedly split up a month ago after dating for a little over a year.

Kim Kardashian posted some photos of inside her house and no one can figure out what is on her walls. Giant sculptural toilet paper rolls? Artistic tampons?

-I love how supportive Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are with their kids. In a new interview, he says “they born a certain way and you say they gotta be that way but that’s not life, man. I watched my son from day one become into who she now has eventually come into. For me it’s all about nothing changes with my love. Nothing changes with my responsibilities. Only thing I gotta do now is get smarter and educate myself more.”

-In a new lawsuit, Harvey Weinstein is accused of sexually assaulting a model when she was just 16.

John Boyega wore a traditional Nigerian robe designed by his sister to the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiere, so I guess we should forgive him for trashing The Last Jedi.

-Ooh boy, J.K. Rowling continues to be problematic. She tweeted her support of U.K. researcher Maya Forstater — whose contract at her job was not renewed because she tweeted anti-trans sentiments such as “men cannot change into women.”

-Forget those early semi-positive reactions to Cats — the critics have spoken and it’s “a furry orgy in a dumpster.” I am very intrigued that it apparently has “more crotch shots than a Michael Bay movie.” Also, this is my fave tweet about it so far.

-I didn’t watch the Survivor reunion show but apparently Jeff Probst actually acknowledged how much they screwed up this season, so I guess that’s something.

-The Flash star Candice Patton was called out by the wife of baseball star JR Smith for having an affair with her husband, but he took to Instagram to say he’d been separated for months.

-This video of the Olsen twins wishing Ashley Benson a happy birthday is…odd.

-I always forget that Penn Badgley is married to Domino Kirke (Jemima‘s sister).

-The trailer for To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You dropped today and man I needed that so bad today.

Will Smith took Tom Holland to a spooky escape room. (“I saved the planet from zombies and aliens a couple of times so you gotta expect this.”)

Channing Tatum Plays Paparazzi for Jessie J

-During Jessie J’s performance in Rio last night, Channing Tatum kept jumping onstage to film her. She posted some of his shots on Instagram — and our boy did good!

Ryan Tedder was just joking when he said Coldplay has an upcoming new song featuring Beyoncé and Adele, which explains those confusing 10 minutes this afternoon when we all thought Coldplay might be relevant again.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are getting married tonight and the celebrations are in full swing.

Andie MacDowell is supportive of her daughter Margaret Qualley dating Pete Davidson: “I FaceTimed with Pete the other day or no, she took a video of me to send to Pete that’s what it was. She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much. They have a nice relationship.”

Kanye West‘s latest album Jesus Is King was supposed to drop last Friday night — and now it doesn’t have a release date. A documentary film about it is expected next month, though.

-NYT’s film critic Wesley Morris thinks Gwyneth Paltrow was once “the best young American actor in the movies” and makes a case for wanting to see her star in films again. Same. (And she does sound a bit over GOOP.)

-This gross anecdote from the Hangover set about Todd Phillips, who just directed Joker, keeps making the rounds on Twitter.

Reese Witherspoon‘s son taught her how to TikTok this weekend and she exuded cool aunt energy.

-Did Jeremy Strong wear his Emmy tux on Succession last night? I have so many questions.

-Speaking of Succession, I had to physically leave the room during the rap in last night’s episode. It’s cringe-y perfection. God, this show.

-In terms of fall TV ratings, no new show hit it out of the park last week, but Prodigal Son did best out of the gate, while Stumptown soared in delayed viewings.

Billie Eilish performed a gravity-defying rendition of “Bad Guy” on SNL this weekend thanks to a rotating set.

-This is a great profile on Ryan Murphy but I especially like the bit with his and Bill Condon‘s very divergent accounts of their breakup.

-Netflix has confirmed season 4 of Stranger Things with a promo that promises a new setting. Perhaps in Russia with Hopper?

-Meanwhile, Aaron Paul says Netflix cancelled Bojack Horseman.
