-Speaking of today’s Marvel presentation, that’s why your Twitter feed exploded with geekgasms this afternoon. They made some huge announcements about their upcoming movie slate. The most exciting (and progressive)? One will be fronted by a female superhero, another by a black superhero.

-This limited series from the BBC is shaping up to be one we’ll all be trying to figure out how to download soon.

-Canadian musician Owen Pallett‘s take on his pal Jian Ghomeshi’s situation is powerful stuff. “Jian is my friend. But there is no grey area. Three women have been beaten by Jian Ghomeshi.”

Joss Whedon tweeting about binge-watching Reign is breaking my brain a little.

Ewan McGregor played charades with Jimmy Fallon, Jeff Tweedy, and Charles Barkley last night, and they were all pretty terrible at it.

-Good lord, Stephen Amell owns a winery? What can’t this guy do?

Alanis Morissette pissed a lot of people off this week when she pulled out of a major charity event in Ottawa due to “illness” and then posted Twitter photos from a beach location, but her rep insists she really was sick.

Bob Odenkirk says Better Call Saul is more of a drama than a comedy. Really?!

-The 2015 Golden Globes will be Amy Poehler and Tina Fey’s last. ::sad trombone::

Matt Bomer can’t wait to be done stripping on Magic Mike so he can go crazy on some fried chicken in a “mean, mean way.”

-Once again proving he’s the nicest guy in Hollywood, Tom Hanks befriended his cabbie and invited him to a Broadway show (and this was even after the cabbie yelled “WILSONNNN!!! as soon as he recognized him).
