-If you only read one story about Black Panther this week, make it Time’s cover story.

-I’m totally tapped out on TV’s obsession with reboots, but if Hollywood HAS  to remake The Greatest American Hero, New Girl (and former MuchMusic VJ) Hannah Simone is a good choice.

Tiffany Haddish says she was once at an after-party for a Jay Z concert and she saw Beyonce tell another woman “Get your hand off my man’s chest!” I have so many questions…

-Meanwhile, Haddish and Melissa McCarthy may star in the adaptation of DC’s The Kitchen, about women who take over their husband’s mob activities when their spouses are sent to jail. Here for it.

-A couple of articles about sexual harassment in the children’s lit world gained a lot of traction last week, and in the comments of this one in particular, 13 Reasons Why author Jay Asher was repeatedly called out for alleged bad behaviour. Now comes word that he has been removed from a literary organization.  (In a statement to Buzzfeed, he insists he left voluntarily — though author Eve Porinchak calls him out in the article’s comments). No word if this will affect 13’s new season on Netflix.

Ed Sheeran has reportedly been asked to sing at the royal wedding.

Ellen DeGeneres  hosted a star-studded bash in which Gwyneth Paltrow took fiance Brad Falchuk, while Chris Martin took girlfriend Dakota Johnson, and everyone was cool and adult about it.

-Also, Dakota Johnson says she had her thong super-glued to her body for Fifty Shades Freed’s sex scenes.

-I hope this Kitty Pryde standalone movie moves ahead with Ellen Page because I want her to get that comic book money.

-New York Times writer and editor Bari Weiss tweeted about Mirai Nagasu’s  triple axle on her Twitter feed with Hamilton’s “Immigrants: They get the job done” and was bombarded with replies explaining that Nagasu was born in California. Instead of apologizing, she immediately got defensive, until Christine Teigen swooped in with this perfect tweet: “It’s called perpetual otherism or perpetual foreigner syndrome. No one is ashamed of the word immigrant but it’s tiring being treated as foreigners all the time. You made a mistake. It’s okay. But people are really giving you calm, great insight. Just learn and breathe. All good.”

-Also, yesterday she called Kevin Sorboboy xena.” She’s never allowed to leave Twitter.

-Here’s the trailer for Atlanta’s second season, which is called Robbin’ Season.
