Kate Middleton Covers Vogue

kate-middleton-vogue-cover

Kate Middleton looks lovely on the cover of British Vogue (good hair, good brows, no evidence of bad eyeliner), but a white dress shirt and suede jacket is a little meh for an issue celebrating 100 years of fashion, no?

-Congrats to Kerry Washington, who’s expecting her second baby (take that, marriage rumours!) There’s already talk that it’ll push Scandal to midseason.

-EW went all in on Game of Thrones spoilers by tweeting their new cover first thing this morning. The actor in question does an admirable job of trying to gracefully apologize for PR shenanigans.

-Something’s coming from Radiohead. We don’t know what yet, but it’s something. Who else is getting goosies?!

Mads Mikkelsen isn’t ready to give up on Hannibal season 4 — which is both sweet and a little sad ’cause it’s probably never going to happen.

-The Ghostbusters trailer is the most disliked trailer in YouTube history because humanity sucks. Luckily, director Paul Feig isn’t here for the assholes hating on his female characters.

Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry had a Friends reunion in London. No word if they needed to step into a pop up map.

Idris Elba and Tom Hiddletson are both wearing suits that in theory, I should hate. But da-yum! My ovaries aren’t going to survive them at tonight’s MET Gala.

J.K. Rowling is very sorry she killed Lupin, but she kinda needs you to let it go already.

Amy Schumer is getting shit for saying she won’t take pics with fans anymore after a terrible encounter. I can’t say I blame her.

Julia Roberts earned a whopping $3 million for just  four days of shooting on Mother’s Day.

-Speaking of which, the reviews for that movie are hilariously scathing. My favourite: ‘What Happens When Huge Stars Make a Huge Crapfest of a Film.

-An oral history of Rent? Amazing! (It’s weird that no one mentions that time I tried to start a “Seasons of Love” singalong on the subway, though. That was a historic moment.)

-Oooh boy. Bryan Singer is already launching lengthy defenses of X-Men’s Apocalypse.

Usher is showing off his dick on Snapchat to thirst-trap the world and/or tell you how much he loves Samsung phones.

-There’s lots of great article out today about showrunners/creators pushing for more diversity and gender equality on TV. (Awesome CW stat: Arrow now has at least 50 percent of its episodes directed by either non-white or female directors.) This interview with Damien showrunner Glen Mazzara also really wants to make me watch his show, just because of the philosophy behind it.

-Have you seen Tiffani Thiessen‘s cooking show? She invites celebrity guests over for dinner and it’s weirdly awesome. Her latest reunites Zack and Kelly!

-HBO is adapting The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks (loved that book!) and Oprah Winfrey is set to star.

Timothy Olyphant hilariously demonstrated the subtle differences between acting for stage vs. screen for Conan last night.

-According to a new report, Prince‘s vault has been drilled open and the room reportedly holds enough music to release one album every year for the next 100 years. (Please don’t do that, tho.)

Chris Evans scared Elizabeth Olsen on Ellen, so then Ellen scared them both. (Also, when he hugs her and pushes her up against the wall? Yeah, he can scare me anytime.)

-I’m kicking off my birthday celebrations this weekend with Captain America: Civil War, which critics are calling Marvel’s best movie yet.

Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson get their western on in The Dual trailer.
