-There’s been lots of talk post-Shonda that ABC is trying to pivot to attract “the heartland.” Now comes word that they’re making a live-action version of The Jetsons, and they signed a mega-deal with Lost co-showrunner Carlton Cuse.

-This is an interesting take on whether or not Rotten Tomatoes can crush a movie. (Personally, I think the reasons bad movies tank is because they’re bad.)

-Everyone’s looking very closely at how the well-reviewed Lucky Logan performs this weekend, because Steven Soderbergh completely bypassed the studio system to make it. He limited the marketing costs, and created an internal site where everyone involved in the film — from casting agents to actors — can log on and get a breakdown of how it’s performing.

-If anyone was going deliver juicy pregnancy drama, it was going to be Mindy Kaling. So far, she’s not disappointing us. According to People, she’s keeping her baby daddy’s identity a secret, even from her closest friends.

–Jennifer Lawrence’s attendance at a Broadway showing of 1984 didn’t go very well. She ended up puking in the lobby.

–Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already talking marriage (according to Us Weekly, anyway).

-This video that’s gone viral of Mariah Carey’s dance moves speaks to my productivity level today.

-HBO just announced a new series about an alternate reality where slavery was never outlawed — created by Game of Thrones’ white showrunners Benioff/Weiss. Yes, they brought on Nichelle Tramble Spellman (Justified) and Malcolm Spellman (Empire) as EPs but … yikes. HBO NO, amirite?

-Meanwhile, Star Wars’ John Boyega hit out at the lack of diversity in Game of Thrones.

-Canadian actor Adam Beach is calling for Native actors to boycott the upcoming Yellowstone mini-series because of terrible casting.

–Charlize Theron‘s Atomic Blonde press wardrobe has everyone thinking that Dior hates her.

–Andrew Garfield says his comments about being gay were taken out of context. Mmm-hmmm.

-I love that Jane Austen is on England’s tenner, but the quote they used makes it seem like they don’t understand Pride & Prejudice.

-I stopped watching Outlander in season one, but this is a pretty perfect trailer.

-THR’s TV Actress Roundtable this year includes Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Elisabeth Moss and Chrissy Metz. Once again, Reese brings up the blind item about the crappy movie that leading ladies were fighting over. When she first brought it up, everyone assumed it was Mortdecai but now A Million Ways to Die in the West is picking up steam.

-Speaking of great group convos, The LA Times drama actor roundtable includes Justin Theroux, Laura Dern, Regina King and Milo Ventimiglia.

-The Mummy review embargo was lifted at noon today and suddenly Twitter was filled with hate for the movie, with critics calling it Tom Cruise’s worst ever. (Not that The Mummy movies have ever been well-reviewed…)

–George Clooney’s dad, Nick, is spilling details about the twins.

-Gilmore Girls’ Liza Weil is dating her HTGAWM costar Charlie Weber? Wayment – since when is she no longer married to the guy from Private Practice and Prison Break?! I loved them!

-Even though he split from Olivia Munn, Aaron Rodgers reportedly still isn’t talking to his family. Wow, it’s almost like she wasn’t to blame for the estrangement in the first place. Imagine that.

-Just in case you needed more proof that Gal Gadot is awesome, she was pregnant while filming Wonder Woman.

-Also, it’s crazy that Patty Jenkins has NO deal for a Wonder Woman sequel yet.
