Daniel Craig Covers GQ

Daniel Craig is on the new issue of GQ, and did we all know he was working with this? He’s 52! My goodness.

Justin Beiber‘s tour ticket sales have been so sluggish, he’s had to downsize a number of venues.

Prince Harry and Megan Markle finished their week of royal duties at a Commonwealth Day service, and Prince William and Kate appeared to keep their distance. In particular, this video seems to show a snub.

-I liked Harry and Megan‘s coordinated green outfits, (though I do agree that the fit of her dress could be better). I prefered the red dress she wore this weekend.

-Asked about Prince Andrew‘s initial offer of cooperation in the Jeffrey Epstein case, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman says the royal has “completely shut the door on any voluntary cooperation” and his office is “considering our options.”

Elizabeth Warren and Kate McKinnon did the best “drop the flip switch” challenge yet.

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas continue to get spotted together.

-It’s actually kind of shocking that this is the first time Goran Visnjic (ER, Practical Magic) has been cast as Dracula.

DaBaby apologized on Instagram after hitting a woman in the crowd of an afterparty.

-Lost’s Evangeline Lilly opened up about a”rough” time last year in an Instagram post: “I didn’t want to share all of it with you because i didn’t want to be a dark cloud in your world…I struggle deeply with feeling that all I ever am is what I feel everyone else wants and needs me to be. I often feel alone and unseen.”

-The full Allure cover story on the Dixie Chicks is now available online, and in it the writer says “I am meeting the Dixie Chicks to not discuss their new album, Gaslighter. It is their first in 14 years, but due to ongoing legal disputes, we cannot talk about it.” The legal dispute likely refers to what’s going on between Natalie Maines and Heroes star Adrian Pasdar, whose divorced was finalized in Dec but are still fighting about the confidentiality clause in the the prenuptial agreement.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union continue to be wonderful parents.

-Modern Family’s Ed O’Neill was on Ellen, where he told a funny story about always embarrassing his teen daughters by introducing them to celebrities he’s never met, so his daughter refused to meet Leonardo DiCaprio — who he actually knows.

Ellen Pompeo and T.R. Knight reunited the day after Alex shocker on Grey’s. I bet they had some catching up to do.

-I can’t believe I watched the entire season of The Outsiders and had no clue that last night’s finale (which wasn’t very good) would include an important post-credits scene. HBO has got to stop doing that.

-Between Stephen King lamenting Hachette’s choice to “muzzle” Woody Allen, and Bill Maher defending Chris Matthews, it’s probably a good time to remind everyone that rich white dudes aren’t automatically entitled to lucrative publishing and TV contracts.

-These PS I Still Love You bloopers are very cute.

Lil Yachty dressed up like Oprah to interview Drake in their new music video.

-The new trailer for Black Widow (which is still slated to come out May 1…for now) looks great and makes me even angrier about Natasha’s fate in Endgame.

The Dixie Chicks Stage a Comeback

The Dixie Chicks allure

-The Dixie Chicks are on the cover of Allure, in which they talk about how speaking out against the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq during a 2003 concert basically killed their career for more than a decade. “I have no regrets, but the responsible part of me doesn’t want to put people through shit [again]. When I think back, it’s like that movie Sliding Doors, right? Where would we be today if I hadn’t said that? That’s interesting. I really don’t know if I would take it back,” says Natalie Maines.

-At least five men say they were catfished by Drag Race contestant Joey Gugliemelli (aka Sherry Pie), who posed as a casting director and led them to submit embarrassing audition tapes of themselves saying and doing degrading things. One of the young men said he even agreed to masturbate on camera as part of the audition process. Gugliemelli posted on Facebook: “I want to start by saying how sorry I am that I caused such trauma and pain and how horribly embarrassed and disgusted I am with myself. I know that the pain and hurt that I have caused will never go away and I know that what I did was wrong and truly cruel.”

-Oh boy, fans of Grey’s Anatomy do NOT seem happy with the way the show wrote off Alex Karev last night. The actor didn’t appear in any scenes but did some voiceovers reading letters his character sent which explained that he ***SPOILER ALERT: left to reunite with Katherine Heigl’s character Izzie, who was raising his kids that he didn’t know about.****  Beyond a few outliers, the response on Twitter seems decidedly unhappy.

-Meanwhile, Ellen Pompeo just wrote a tribute to Alex Karev  on Instagram — without ever mentioning costar Justin Chambers. I’m gonna need the tell-all book when this show wraps!

-The Hype House kids not knowing who Perez Hilton is tickles me.

Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against The Sun publisher is about to begin, and the judge has ordered him to turn over audio recordings and papers from his divorce proceeding with Amber Heard, so expect a lot of sad details of their stormy relationship to surface.

Tom Hanks plays a US Navy skipper who must lead an Allied convoy being stalked by Nazi U-boats in the Greyhound trailer.

-Due to the coronavirus, the release of the new James Bond movie No Time to Die, which was supposed to hit theatres next month, will be postponed until November.

Ronan Farrow said on Tuesday that he would cut ties with his publisher, Hachette Book Group, after they hid from him that they were publishing Woody Allen’s autobiography next month: “It’s wildly unprofessional in multiple obvious directions for Hachette to behave this way. But it also shows a lack of ethics and compassion for victims.” Did they think that the world’s leading investigative journalist wasn’t going to figure it out?

The studio certainly thought the movie was over. His ex–wife Jennifer Garner called me up, and told me that when he went to rehab, he took a basketball with him. She said, ‘Gavin, he’s asking you, please don’t pull the plug on the movie, he really wants to do this.'”

-Meanwhile, on Kimmel last night Affleck choked up when explaining how Adam Driver saved his son’s birthday. When the birthday present for his Star Wars obsessed 8-year-old didn’t arrive in time, Driver, Affleck’s costar in The Last Duel, sent a big pile of Kylo Ren merch and signed stuff. “Adam made me a hero to my kid, and I will never, ever, ever forget it.”

-Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, which stars Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington as clashing mothers, is getting good reviews. I was going to watch it anyway because of Joshua Jackson, but that’s nice.
