That’s something I learned”), the weightloss-inducing stress of becoming absurdly famous in the span of just a few days (“I don’t know why, but I couldn’t eat. I was so confused, and it was so chaotic. I didn’t believe it. I didn’t trust it”) and her future plans (“I have always wanted to go to Hollywood and to act in America, and I still do. But Squid Game changed my mindset. It doesn’t have to be an American movie or a European movie, it’s the story and the message that are more important”).

-In THR’s Actor Roundtable, Nicolas Cage, Peter Dinklage, Andrew Garfield, Jonathan Majors and Simon Rex share their fears about showing vulnerability, their sense of responsibility when wielding guns on sets, and their thoughts on the future of theatres. Meanwhile, Grey’s Anatomy and a handful of other ABC shows have paused production.

Black Is King — and Beyonce Is Queen

-Black Is King, a new film by Beyonce, debuted at midnight Disney+ and critics are loving it.

–This article detailing everything that went down on the 1999 set of Bryan Singer‘s X-Men is insane. Michael Jackson wanted to play Professor Xavier. One of the film’s actors (Alexander Burton, who played Pyro) filed a civil suit four months after production wrapped, claiming that he was raped by three of Singer’s friends and business associates. Rebecca Romijn would undergo hours of body paint to play Mystique, and then on a whim, Singer would decide not to use her in a scene. Despite a lineup of A-list writers, Singer’s assistant secretly wrote much of the script. Producer Tom DeSanto fought with Singer when he discovered the director and some crew members took drugs before shooting a stunt that left Hugh Jackman bleeding. The next day, most of the main cast descended on Singer’s trailer and threatened to quit if DeSanto left (leading to Halle Balle‘s infamous “You can kiss my black ass” quote).
