Kodi Smit-McPhee’s On Sam Elliott’s Power of the Dog Take

-Kodi Smit-McPhee’s response to Sam Elliott‘s criticism of The Power Of The Dog is pretty perfect.

-Congrats to Josh Hartnett, who quietly married longtime girlfriend Tamsin Egerton back in November.

Florence Pugh is in talks to join Dune 2. Denis Villeneuve‘s sequel will resume from where the first one left off, with Paul (Timothée Chalamet) fighting with the Fremen to free the desert planet of Arrakis from the grips of House Harkonnen. Pugh is being courted to play Princess Irulan, the daughter of the Emperor.

Zoë Kravitz said they shot Big Little Lies in “such a white area” that it made her “uncomfortable”: “Just weird racist people in bars and things like that.”

Lee Pace did an interview with Vulture to answer questions about Pushing Daisies (I love how shaggy cute he is in this clip). “When I got cast in The Hobbit, Peter Jackson said, ‘We loved you in Pushing Daisies. That’s why you’re here.’”

-The reviews for Amy Schumer‘s new show Life and Beth seem mixed.

-Speaking of reviews for new shows, it seems that Renée Zellweger wearing a fat suit in The Thing About Pam is a distraction. Who woulda thunk it?

Christopher Eccleston has softened his stance on coming back to Doctor Who — but he’ll only do it if he’s alone. “I’ve never been a fan of multi-Doctor stories. You know, when I worked on the series I had really strong ideas—surprise, surprise—about what works and what doesn’t, and I always think that multi-Doctor stories are a bit of a cash-in, and a bit of exploitation,” Eccleston said. “Creatively they never work for me. … The Ninth Doctor in particular is a one-man band, definitely. So, he doesn’t work with other Doctors. If you want me back, you get me on my own.”

-There’s a new featurette on The Lost City. I want it so much!
