Ali Wong interviews Lana Condor for Interview and it’s great. They talk about making a conscious decision to keep their families off their social media, the joys of learning how to cook, and their career goals (Condor: “I want to play Sandra Oh’s daughter more than anything in this world. I would work with her in any capacity.”)

Harvey Weinstein is now a convicted rapist. In his New York trial today, he was found guilty of sexual assault and third-degree rape. He faces a maximum of 25 years in prison on the charge of sexually assaulting Miriam Haley at his Soho apartment in 2006. (He was acquitted of the two more serious counts of predatory sexual assault involving actress Annabella Sciorra.) He’ll be sentenced on March 11 — and he still faces 4 more charges in LA.

-His lawyer Donna Rotunno says of the verdict: “He took it like a man.” Always a charmer, that one.

Vanessa Bryant delivered a heartbreaking tribute to husband Kobe and daughter Gianna at their Celebration of Life ceremony today: “God knew they couldn’t be on this earth without each other. He had to bring them home to heaven together.”

-Here’s Beyonce’s opening performance from the celebration, Christina Aguilera singing “Ave Maria” and Jimmy Kimmel’s incredibly emotional speech.

Zendaya and Jacob Elordi traveled to Australia together again. They were photographed arriving in Sydney.

Jason Lei Howden, the director of Guns Akimbo starring Daniel Radcliffe, just did his best to torpedo his own movie weeks before its release by falsely accusing two black female movie critics of online bullying. The fact that he was allowed to send multiple tweets about it not only from his own account but from the movie’s official handle without the studio immediately shutting it down is puzzling.  His subsequent non-apology was predictably terrible.

-The way Rihanna says “Tell your friends to pull up” at the 2:40 mark of her NAACP speech gives me chills.

Gigi Hadid owned YouTuber Jake Paul so hard this weekend. It was glorious.

-The TV adaptation of Love, Simon is moving from Disney+ to Hulu, reportedly because “Disney thought the half-hour comedy featured more adult themes than it was comfortable featuring on family-focused Disney+”. I don’t really get how it’s not wholesome enough for a streamer that also has Runaways and 10 Things I Hate About You.

Chris Evans is in talks to star in Greg Berlanti’s Little Shop of Horrors. I liked everything about that headline until I read further and realized its for the women-hating dentist role. No thanks.

-Schitt’s Creek star Annie Murphy just landed the lead in a new dark comedy from AMC.

-I kinda love that this 2008 interview with Amy Adams about how she was once too distracted by Lee Pace‘s hotness to act is making the rounds again. It deserves to be remembered.

Lena Waithe is being accused of stealing the concept of her new anthology series Girls Room from filmmaker Nina Lee.

Mark Ruffalo says Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige almost quit over the studio’s lack of diversity and representation. “When we did the first Avengers, Kevin Feige told me, ‘Listen, I might not be here tomorrow.’ And he’s like, ‘Ike [Isaac Perlmutter, Disney’s largest shareholder at the time] does not believe that anyone will go to a female-starring superhero movie. So if I am still here tomorrow, you will know that I won that battle’…Because Kevin wanted black superheroes, women superheroes, LGBT superheroes, he changed the whole Marvel universe.”

-Has anyone ever looked as happy about working out as Michelle Pfeiffer does on her Peloton?

Sarah Paulson plays a creepy mom with a secret in the first trailer for Run.

Ellen Page Uses Her Late Night Appearance To Call Out Mike Pence’s Homophobia

Ellen Page was articulate and passionate last night on the Colbert Show, where she asked viewers to “connect the dots” between homophobic rhetoric and physical violence. “I’m lucky to have this time and this privilege to say this. This needs to f*cking stop.” Also, good on Stephen Colbert for just stepping back and letting her talk.

-Meanwhile, Empire star Jussie Smollett has given his first statement since being attacked: “My body is strong but my soul is stronger.”

Gisele Bundchen opened up on her past relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio: “Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”

Adam Levine canceled the press conference before the Super Bowl, because holding one would have required Maroon 5 to answer uncomfortable questions. He then gave a wishy-washy defense of his involvement: “No one thought about it more than I did. No one put more thought and love into this than I did…I spoke to many people; most importantly though, I silenced all the noise and listened to myself, and made my decision about how I felt.” Well, as long as he listened to HIMSELF, we’re all good, I guess.

Reese Witherspoon‘s newest book recommendation is Jasmine Guillory‘s The Proposal, which I adored.

Kit Harington let it slip to his wife Rose Leslie how Game of Thrones ends — and says she stopped talking to him “for days.” Spoiler repercussions are real, yo.

Micheal B Jordan might be in Black Panther 2…somehow.

Christina Aguilera serenaded unsuspecting donut shop customers on Kimmel’s show.

-Netflix has renewed Sex Education for a second season.

-Oh god. There’s rumblings that the CW is considering a Gossip Girl reboot.

Busy Philipps admits she “always hated her stomach” as she celebrates her unretouched Aerie ad. (Her stomach looks awesome — which isn’t surprising since her IG Stories are 70% about her planking.)

-Google Assistant continues with the Home Alone trend, this time with Joe Pesci.

-Netflix’s Russian Doll (starring Natasha Lyonne and exec produced by Amy Poehler) hits Netflix today and it’s been a while since I’ve seen critics so universally embrace a new show. Variety says it’s “spiky, funny, devastating and downright bizzare,” Rolling Stone calls Lyonne a “revelation,”  Vox calls it terrific and twisted, AV Club says it’s more rewarding than any puzzle-box show, Vulture calls it a “brilliant, surreal show about women in power,” The Hollywood Reporter says it starts good, then gets better, and The New York  Times says the main character describes herself as “if Andrew Dice Clay and the little girl from Brave made a baby.”

Olivia Wilde takes down abusers in the trailer for A Vigilante.

-Hobbs & Shaw are an ass-kicking odd couple in the Fast & Furious spin-off’s first ridiculous but also kinda great trailer.

Tracee Ellis Ross Happy To Be “45, Single and Childless”

Tracee Ellis Ross Says She Is ‘Happily Single’ At 45

-In her InStyle cover story, Tracee Ellis Ross says she cool with her single status. “It’s sort of fascinating to be 45 and single and childless. [I’m] not at home crying about it.” Bless.  Also, she really loves that colour and silhouette, no? She wore something similar to the MET Gala. And the Emmys.

Christina Aguilera talks about that infamous VMAs moment where she and Madonna kissed. “It was weird. And you know why they cut away for it? They cut away to get Justin [Timberlake’s] reaction. It was a ‘Justin’s reaction’ shot.”

Brad Pitt smiled at someone he was sitting near so clearly everyone thinks they’re dating.

-I don’t know why Jon Hamm is doing Canadian commercials, but I very much appreciate the way he says “poutine.”

Nicki Minaj now has merch based on her fight with Cardi B, which is both trashy and genius.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have finally finalized their divorce. If she waited for him to get healthy, that makes her a solid human being.

Lady Gaga has remained pretty opaque during this press tour (she must have gotten Bradley Cooper‘s memo), but her comments about sexual assault on last night’s Late Show were very articulate and personal.

Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert say they have reached out to Roseanne Barr but didn’t hear back.

Keira Knightley holds nothing back in an essay about giving birth to her daughter. “My vagina split. You came out with your eyes open. Arms up in the air. Screaming.” She continues: “I remember the shit, the vomit, the blood, the stitches.”

-Every time Kate Beckinsale gets cutesy with her 23-year-old boyfriend, I want to fist pump.

R. Kelly‘s ex-wife says he once almost killed her in the backseat of a Hummer.

John Mulaney gives good talk show banter.

Suge Knight was sentenced to 28 years in prison for charges of murder and attempted murder.

-The Aquaman trailer is bananas and I’m kinda into it? “I coulda just peed on it.”
