Lance Reddick Dies at 60

-This one hurts: Lance Reddick, known for The Wire, John Wick and Fringe, has passed away at 60. His rep confirmed the news, saying he died of natural causes but did not elaborate. He’d been doing interviews for John Wick 4 just this week, and was scheduled to join the cast next week on Kelly Clarkson‘s show.

-His costars and celebrity fans are paying tribute.

-Good on Robert Smith for fighting Ticketmaster on behalf of his fans. After expressing how “sickened” he was by their service fees, he announced that he secured partial refunds for The Cure tickets already purchased and lower fees for tickets bought today.

Brian Cox continues to say whatever the hell he wants. In a new with Variety interview, he doubles down on his hatred of the Method-style acting favoured by his Succession costar Jeremy Strong, saying “I don’t put up with all that American shit. I’m sorry. All that sort of ‘I think, therefore I feel.’ Just do the job. Don’t identify.” And then in a cover story for Haute Living, he says of Meghan Markle: “She knew what she was getting into, and there’s an ambition there clearly as well — the childhood dreams of marrying Prince Charming and all that shit we see as fantasy that could be our lives in our dreams. I’m a Cinderella person, you know.”
