Kieran Culkin Talks Succession’s End

Kieran Culkin esquire

-Succession’s Kieran Culkin covers Esquire and and talks about his brother Macaulay’s immense fame at 10 (“Poor fucking guy. He was little and having to try to accept that level of fame as reality”), and confirmed that Jesse Armstrong didn’t tell the cast this would be the last season until the table read for the final episode (“[He said] ‘So this is it. Unless it isn’t. There’s still maybe…’ I laughed. Fucking come on, man. Is it the end or not? Stop telling me you don’t want to be with me but that you still sort of love me”).

-Gwynocent! A Park City jury found that Gwyneth Paltrow was not at fault for the collision that occurred between her and a retired optometrist on a ski slope in 2016.

-The ski trial was watched by nearly 30 million people across YouTube and social media platforms.

-If it’s true that Gwyneth leaned over and whispered “I wish you well” to the man who sued her as she left the courtroom with her $1 victory, that’s some boss level shit. The video shows her clearly saying something to him, but it’s hard to tell what.

Jodie Turner-Smith going hard in Schiaparelli for the premiere of Murder Mystery 2 immediately became the most interesting thing about that movie.

-In this profile on boygenuis, Phoebe Bridgers admits that she sometimes finds her fans too aggressive. “I’m coming from a place of literally — I’m feeling it in my body as I’m saying it, but — people with my picture as their Twitter picture, who claim to like my music, fucking bullied me at the airport on the way to my father’s funeral this year…If you’re a kid and the internet somehow taught you that that’s an okay thing to do, then of course I hate capitalism and everything that led you to believe that it’s okay to do that. [But] I, at one of the lowest points of my life, saw people who claim to love me fucking dehumanize me and shame me and fucking bully me on the way to my dad’s wake…It’s not like they didn’t know my dad just died. A lot of the top comments [were] like, ‘Hey, her dad just died, what are you guys doing?'”

-It looks like Jonah Hill is going to be a dad. His girlfriend Olivia Millar was photographed with a belly bump and an engagement ring.

Daniel Radcliffe remains such a solid dude.

Pete Davidson says the interest in his dating life is “confusing.” Really??

-I find it really weird that the next season of House of the Dragon is going to be even shorter than the first, with only 8 episodes instead of 10. If any show needs more room to breathe and let the audience get to know the characters more, it’s that one.

Bill Lawrence talks about stepping away from Ted Lasso’s final season: “It was healthy for me to let go because Jason [Sudeikis] is Ted Lasso and certainly deserves, especially landing the plane, for it to be his vision. If I were to take a slam at myself, I think I’ve reached a point in my career that I’m certainly not the best at having to listen to other people over my own opinion. And he has, without a doubt, earned that with this show. So, it didn’t sting as much as I thought it would, but that’s also partly because I think he crushed it.”

-Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. I wouldn’t have called this from the trailers but I’m pleasantly surprised. Every review I’ve read says you don’t have to know anything about D&D, but I hope the title doesn’t scare people off.

Rachel Weisz plays twins who share everything (drugs, lovers, a lack of medical ethics) in Prime’s Dead Ringers trailer.
