David Harbour and Lily Allen’s Quirky NYC Home

Architectural Digest’s new issue features David Harbour and Lily Allen‘s Brooklyn townhouse, which the internet is loving it and I feel like I’m losing my mind? With the exception of the staircase and *maybe* the kitchen, every photo of their “layered Italian” theme is worse than the one before it. It’s like a Laura Ashley fever dream! With a carpeted bathroom!

-They are very charming in the video, though. (I wouldn’t have recognized her at all.)

Vanessa Hudgens is engaged to MLB player Cole Tucker, according to TMZ.

Jessica Simpson wrote a “true” Amazon original story about a “a massive movie star” that she met at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards and began seeing but it didn’t work out after she refused to have sex when him when he flew her to a hotel near the set of a movie he was shooting. Based on what she says he was wearing at the VMAs, the internet thinks it might be Mark Walhberg.

-For Portia de Rossi‘s birthday, she surprised Ellen DeGeneres with a wedding vow renewal led by Kris Jenner.

Dave Bautista only thinks he’s too “unattractive” to be cast as the lead in rom-coms because Hollywood doesn’t adapt enough romance novels. I’ve read a ton of books in which the biker/boxer/mafia MC is described exactly like him.

Bryan Cranston is the latest celeb to appear on Hot Ones.

-The creators behind The Good Wife are working on a spinoff featuring Carrie Preston‘s Elsbeth Tascioni for CBS. I adored Elsbeth (especially in The Good Fight) but doesn’t she seem like a small-doses kind of character?

-The Last of Us continues to gain fans. Viewership grew dramatically for episode 3 with 6.4 million viewers.

-HBO has released the first image of Kate Winslet in The Palace, its upcoming limited series from the creators of Succession.

Kristen Stewart is set to direct three music videos for Boygenius.

-So Emily Ratajowski and Eric Andre are actually happening, huh? Funny is sexy.

-The Traitors has been renewed for season two. I don’t watch a lot of reality TV, but people are loving this.

-Speaking of The Traitors, host Alan Cummings told the palace he no longer wants his OBE.

-Oof. Showtime has decided not to go forward with the drama series Three Women, starring Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, and DeWanda Wise, despite the fact that the show is already filmed and it was expected to premiere imminently.

-Netflix’s new password sharing crackdown is awful. Every 31 days your device must log in on your home network — or it will be blocked. What a shortsighted plan that punishes people who actually pay them.

-If Beyonce‘s concert ticket sales turn out like the Taylor Swift debacle, expect more pressure on Ticketmaster.

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin plot revenge in the trailer for Moving On, a film I saw at TIFF and thought was delightful.

-Teen girls around the world begin developing the ability to electrocute people at will in the trailer for Amazon’s The Power, starring Toni Collette.
