Phoebe Dynevor Won’t Be In Bridgerton This Season

Phoebe Dynevor is moving on from Bridgerton, at least for Season 3. “Well, I did my two seasons. I’ve done what I wanted to do with that character and she had a great arc. If they ask me back in the future, who knows?” It makes sense. I don’t remember her being a big part of Penelope/Colin’s story, last season whenever she showed up there was an awkward explanation about why Regé-Jean Page wasn’t with her, and her career is red hot right now.

-I was a big fan of Chuck and followed Zachary Levi for a while on socials, so I’m very aware of how often he’s showed his true colours. Remember this? And this? And this? And this? Now he’s at it again, trending on Twitter this weekend for some seemingly anti-vax nonsense.

-TV actress Annie Wersching, who was in a bunch of shows including The Vampire Diaries, Timeless, Runaways, and Star Trek: Picard, has passed away from cancer at 45.

Shania Twain says she almost died after getting Covid. “It was progressively getting worse. My vital signs were getting worse… and in the end I had to be air evacuated. It was like science fiction, I felt like I was going to another planet or something. It all kind of happened in slow motion.”

-Meanwhile, Colin Farrell says he’s recovered from his second bout of Covid after he tested positive following the Golden Globes. “I’m going to do very little now for the next while. The first time I went out about a week after I tested negative and I started running again and I messed myself up and got the long COVID for about six months.”

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo just welcomed their third baby.

Andrea Riseborough’s To Leslie costar Marc Maron is not impressed with the Academy’s investigation following her surprise nomination. “It was in earnest, the campaign. But I’m glad the Academy — at the behest of special interest and corporate interest and paranoia about how they look — are doing an investigation.”

Anya Taylor-Joy has confirmed her Twitter account was hacked following a tweet about the second season of Queen’s Gambit.

-Showtime has cancelled Let the Right One In and American Gigolo. I can’t believe there was a show with Jon Bernthal playing a male prostitute and none of us watched it…

Will Ferrell attended a Raptors game and was a very enthusiastic spectator.

-The Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy may not happen because of a dispute over contract negotiations.

Last night’s episode of The Last of Us was pretty incredible. Stars Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett, creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, and director Peter Hoar talked to Variety about how Episode 3 came together, why it diverged so much from the game, and what it does — or doesn’t — portend for the series.

-It seems like the author of Knock at the Cabin is not getting a lot of credit on the marketing materials.

-I don’t say this often, but I’m on Kanye West’s side in both of these clips.
