Jennifer Lopez Talks Living with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel were on the Today Show to promote Shotgun Wedding, and she talked about blending her and Ben Affleck‘s families. “We moved in together. The kids moved in together. It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true. It’s just been a phenomenal year, like my best year I think since my kids were born.”

-There are a lot of actors in their 40s dating women in their 20s right now.

-I was today years old when I found out that Timothée Chalamet and Paul Mescal are the same age.

-Meanwhile, Mescal did a video for GQ’s 10 Things I Can’t Live Without.

Meghann Fahy and Theo James — who played married couple Daphne and Cameron in The White Lotus — are in agreement on how far their characters strayed during the show, and who their son’s father really is.

Bianca Censori’s family sound surprisingly happy about her marriage to Kanye West.

Selena Gomez and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers are reportedly dating.

-Here’s our first look at Marisa Abela (who I adore in Industry) as Amy Winehouse.

Cate Blanchett and Margot Robbie were very cute together fangirling over each other on The Graham Norton Show.

-The Critics’ Choice Awards were last night, and gen z brought the best looks. Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried was clearly having some issues with her archival Dior dress when she walked up to accept her award, and she said on the red carpet that it was “ripping apart.

-In terms of awards, Brendan Fraser and Everything Everywhere All At Once got a big boost (though I’m not counting out Austin Butler, Colin Farrell or Top Gun Maverick just yet). Basically the only Oscar lock seems to be Ke Huy Quan in Best Supporting at this point, while Angela Bassett also seems to have Supporting sewn up.

-Meanwhile, there are some crazy things happening in the Best Actress category. Michelle Williams submitted herself for Lead, but people seem more inclined to vote for her in Supporting instead. And in the last few days, there has been an incredible social media push by famous people for Andrea Riseborough in To Leslie, a film I hadn’t even heard about before this weekend. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Mark Ruffalo, Sarah Paulson, Edward Norton, Kate Winslet and more are all suddenly talking about her. I’m not sure how this grassroots campaign came to be, but they timed it so that all the support would suddenly appear the weekend before voting ends. I guess we’ll know next Tuesday if it worked.

-Speaking of weird internet reactions, people are really, really hating Velma, Mindy Kaling‘s new animated Scooby show. Apparently it makes some lazy jokes about cancel culture,  (reminding everyone of that time Kaling liked a JK Rowling tweet). But also, people are upset that there’s a kissing scene — not because it’s between two girls, but because it’s between two 15-year-olds. What’s happening?!

-I wanted so much more for Sex in the City’s Aiden than this.

-Another day, another fully completed season of TV getting dumped without airing. The fourth season of Snowpiercer has been filmed, but it won’t be airing on TNT anymore.

Liam Neeson is an old school private eye in the trailer for Marlowe.
