Channing Tatum Teases Magic Mike 3

Channing Tatum tweeted out the first pic from the new Magic Mike movie, and it’s of Salma Hayek feeling up his abs. Sold!

-You know, if most celebs were called out for shitty behaviour, they would swallow their pride, apologize, and pray the whole thing would blow over soon. Not James Corden! He was profiled by the NYT and was asked if he considered cancelling their scheduled interview following him getting banned by Balthazar earlier this week for treating the waitstaff poorly. “I haven’t done anything wrong, on any level,” he said. “So why would I ever cancel this? I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it’s so silly. I just think it’s beneath all of us. It’s beneath you. It’s certainly beneath your publication.” During the interview, which took place in a restaurant, he also noted a woman at the table next to him had complained about her eggs. “Happens every day. It’s happening in 55,000 restaurants as we speak. It’s always about eggs. Can you imagine now, if we just blasted her on Twitter? Would that be fair? This is my point. It’s insane.”

-Meanwhile, Keith McNally, the restaurant owner who banned Corden (and then rescinded the ban) posted on Instagram, “I’ve no wish to kick a man when he’s down. Especially one who’s worth $100 Million, but when James Corden said in yesterday’s NY Times that he hadn’t done “anything wrong, on any level,” was he joking? Or was he denying being abusive to my servers? Whatever Corden meant, his implication was clear: he didn’t do it. Although I didn’t witness the incident, lots of my restaurant’s floor staff did. They had nothing to gain by lying. Corden did. I wish James Corden would live up to his Almighty initials and come clean.” He also offered Corden free meals for a decade if the comedian apologizes to the “servers he insulted.”

Taylor Swift faces her worst fears in the video for “Anti-Hero,” which she describes as watching her “nightmare scenarios and intrusive thoughts play out in real time.”

-Meanwhile, the reviews for Swift‘s new album Midnights are glowing.

-Swift might be getting all the buzz, but Carly Rae Jepsen and Artic Monkeys also released big new albums today with great reviews.

-Speaking of new music releases, to celebrate the song’s 20th anniversary, Christina Aguilera released a powerful new video for her 2002 hit “Beautiful,” which follows kids trying to live up to unreal beauty standards on social media.

Matthew Perry told Diane Keaton that Jennifer Aniston once confronted him about his drinking. “She was the one that reached out the most and you know, I’m really grateful to her for that.”

-This is such an excellent interview with Ethan Hawke, mostly because it’s about Raymond and Ray (his new Apple movie about two estranged brothers who share the same name and come together for their father’s funeral), and the interviewer had a similar thing happen to him, so Hawke just kind of leads him into a gentle therapy session instead of talking about the movie.

-A copy of the season finale of House of the Dragon leaked online and HBO is “aggressively monitoring and pulling these copies.” (I can’t believe it’s the finale already on Sunday. Did anything on that show actually…happen?)

Angelina Jolie is set to play opera soprano Maria Callas in a newly-announced biopic from Pablo Larrain.

-Balenciaga has officially cut ties with Kanye West after he made a series of anti-Semitic comments in recent interviews. It’s wild it took this long.

Freddie Prinze Jr and Aimee Garcia star in the trailer for Netflix’s Christmas with You.
