Drew Barrymore and Justin Long Reunite & Reminisce

-Exes Drew Barrymore and Justin Long reunited on the season premiere of her show and it was very sweet and emotional. “I’m glad we’ve maintained our love. I know that from my end, it’ll never go anywhere. I’ll love you always.”

-Speaking of sweet, Indiana Jones’ Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan reunited at D23.

-Here we go: Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadidare getting to know each other,” People is reporting.

Harry Styles reportedly acquits himself in My Policeman much better than in Don’t Worry Darling (though some critics disagree), leading Vulture to debate if he’s a good actor.

Prince Harry will reportedly not be allowed to wear his uniform at any ceremonial events surrounding the Queen’s funeral.

-Also, it was reportedly Prince William who reached out to him and suggested the brotherly show of support — while Meghan Markle was shunned by some white ladies while greeting the public.

-In related news, a clip from their Apple documentary of Prince Harry talking about Meghan Markle being suicidal is making the rounds on Twitter today.

-Musician Nick Cave talked to NYT magazine about grief, the loss of two of his children and how his fans brought him out of darkness. “My other son has died. It’s difficult to talk about, but the concerts themselves and this act of mutual support saves me.”

-The cast of the Knives Out sequel seem like they genuinely like each other.

-I can’t believe the Emmys are tonight instead of the traditional Sunday. This clip has been going around of one of its best moments in recent history.

-Meanwhile, this Brutally Honest Emmy Voter is on my wavelength when it comes to Pam & Tommy.

-At D23, Pixar announced a sequel to Inside Out, and we got new trailers for Hocus Pocus 2 and Disenchanted.

-Actress Sanaa Lathan‘s directorial debut On the Come Up was supposed to go straight to streaming at the end of the month, but its warm reception at TIFF got it a limited theatrical release.

-Speaking of TIFF, I saw Anna Kendrick‘s latest Alice, Darling and really liked it. But before the premiere, she got stuck in a crowded elevator. (She posted video from the experience, and she’s way perkier than I would have been.)

-Instead of a trailer, the first teaser for Ryan Murphy‘s new Netflix series The Watcher features Jennifer Coolidge‘s character giving a house tour. The show stars Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale as a couple who move into their dream home, which soon turns into a nightmare.

-The first teaser for the live-action Little Mermaid has arrived.

-Here’s the trailer for Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans, starring Michelle Williams, Paul Dano and Seth Rogen. I went to the premiere this weekend and wasn’t blown away, but it feels like I’m in the minority so expect a big Oscars push for this.
