Chris Evans is “Laser-Focused” on Looking For Love

Chris Evans‘ outfit at The Gray Man premiere was so tight, and I’m not mad about it.

-Meanwhile, he made a rare comment about his love life, saying he’s “laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s wedding was a small, intimate affair but they’re planning a bigger party later.

-Today, Rolling Stone dropped a massive story about how Warner Bros’ investigated the #ReleasetheSnyderCut movement and found that it was fueled by bots and fake online accounts, possibly masterminded by director Zack Snyder. Ok, even if that’s true, it led to a lot of real people being incredibly toxic online, and WB looking the other way (and even enabling and rewarding them).

-Speaking of fake online activity that translated into real world consequences, a new report found evidence of a widespread, anti-Amber Heard online harassment campaign.

-So Drake actually was detained in Sweden, despite his team’s earlier denials?

-This is an interesting piece on how the producers of Funny Girl are placing lots of hope in Lea Michele, but the show’s negative reviews weren’t just about Beanie Feldstein‘s performance, but also called out the sets, the costumes, the other performances, and the book.

-Now that the curtain has come down on Paradise Square, members of the production talked about trying to make sense about how such an ambitious show could be plagued by so many problems. I’m telling you, I’m not even much of a Broadway head and I would pay cash money to read a tell-all about all the bts drama on this season’s shows.

Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy have split, and she wrote a lovely tribute to their relationship.

-Everyone who’s making fun of Drew Barrymore’s happiness about rain are forgetting what a shitty childhood she survived. I’m here for her to find joy wherever she can.

-This is an interesting look at how HBO put five Game of Throne spinoff ideas into development and then had them duke it out.

-I’m not usually a fan of sheer dresses but I dig this look on Joey King at the Bullet Train premiere. The outfit ages her up while the eye makeup keeps it modern. I wish she opted for a cooler shoe, tho.

-Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein sent his parents to see Thor 4 without telling them about his cameo. “My mom is texting me all the way through the film …It gets to the end bit…she texts me ‘Russell Crowe’s in it again, he’s very funny.’ I go, ‘Fucking look up at the screen!'”

Chris Rock and Lake Bell are enjoying a romantic vacation in Croatia.

-Here’s our first look at Quinta Brunson as Oprah Winfrey in the upcoming biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. Oh yes.

-It has been officially confirmed that Desus & Mero will not return for a 5th season. I wonder if it has anything do to with DeuxMoi items about tensions between them.

-Glee alum Blake Jenner was arrested for driving under the influence.

-A 31-year-old crew member was shot and killed on the set of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which was filming in Brooklyn. The man, who was working as parking enforcement, was shot while sitting in a car outside the Brooklyn set.

Prince Harry discussed his love for Meghan Markle and his late mother in his keynote speech at the U.N.

-Ohhh….I love this interview with The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri.

Ethan Hawke says critics can’t review Marvel movies like art films: “If you keep reviewing these movies that are basically made for 14-year-olds like they’re Fanny and Alexander or Winter Light, then who the hell’s going to get to make Winter Light?” I agree — but I don’t think any critics are doing that.

-Netflix lost almost 1 million subscribers last quarter. Not surprisingly, they’re planning to launch a cheaper, ad-supported version early next year. The streaming bubble is bursting and we’re all just inching back to traditional TV.

-Here’s the trailer for the upcoming final season of Kevin Can F**k Himself.

-The first teaser for The Weeknd’s new HBO show The Idol is here.

Lili Reinhart is living parallel lives in the trailer for Netflix’s Look Both Ways.
