Amber Heard Gives First Post-Trial Interview

-In her first sit-down interview post-trial with the Today Show, Amber Heard reflected on her time in court with Johnny Depp. “Even somebody who is sure I’m deserving of all this hate and vitriol, even if you think I’m lying, you still couldn’t tell me … that you think on social media there’s been a fair representation. You cannot tell me that you think that this has been fair.”

-Following his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis, Justin Bieber has cancelled more shows. (Anti-v**xers are blaming the v*ccine with no evidence whatsoever, so that’s fun. Experts are pointing out that other illnesses can trigger it, and he’s recently battled covid and lyme disease.)

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson posted PDA-y pics from Tahiti.

Sandra Oh and Jung-Ho-yeon were Friday’s Variety Actors on Actors pairing. Oh said Killing Eve was “probably one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had,” while Jung-Ho-yeon said the death of her Squid Game character’s death was the “most comfortable scene I’ve ever had...I’ve been living with my character [for] over a few months, and there is a time that I have to let her go… I can happily let her go because I’m the one who understand her most in this world. I know her stress and I know how her life was with struggle and hard.”

-Hilariously, today’s Actors on Actors pairing was supposed to be Josh Brolin and Jeremy Renner, but Renner was “a last-minute no-show” (there’s definitely a story there), so Brolin interviewed himself. He even filmed reaction shots to himself!

Jennifer Lopez‘s Netflix doc drops tonight, and word is we shouldn’t expect too many bombshells. (We’ve already heard the bit about her being livid at having to share the stage with Shakira at the Super Bowl: “If it was going to be a double headliner, they should have given us 20 minutes. That’s what they should’ve f***ing done.”)

-I love that Mahershala Ali sometimes shows up on his personal assistant’s TikTok.

-I always knew Matthew Lillard seemed like a solid guy.

-Also a seemingly super solid guy: John Cena. This story is pretty damn heartwarming.

-So let me get this straight — Rebel Wilson only came out last week because a newspaper was going to out her and she was tipped off when they called her for a comment about their story, and then they wrote a column complaining about how she ruined their scoop?!? (The column has since been taken offline following an outcry.)

-Well, this is unexpected: Neil Patrick Harris was just announced as new Doctor Who cast member.

-Schmigadoon! scored a second season, and Tituss Burgess is joining the cast.

-Does Pixar have a rare dud on its hands? Lightyear is not getting good reviews. I’m guessing this is not how Chris Evans wanted to celebrate his birthday.

-Speaking of Chris, I love video clips in which is Boston accent comes out.

-Speaking of cute videos, here’s Britney Spears, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, and Donatella singing “Vogue” while posing for pics at Britney’s wedding.

-HBO Max dropped the first trailer for Rap Sh!t, its forthcoming comedy series exec produced by Issa Rae.

-Barry ended on HBO last night and I really, really liked the whole season. This shot was the best thing I’ve seen in a while.

-The final trailer to Jordan Peele’s Nope has dropped, in which Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer play siblings who try to turn an alien invasion into a money-making scheme.

Lana Condor is a living her best afterlife in the first trailer for Netflix’ upcoming series Boo, Bitch.
